Welcome to the heart of Kansas City and the beautiful Lookout. The Lookout is a top floor unit that is designed with your comfort in mind and the location is one of the best in Kansas City! Located just minutes from historic 39th St., Westport and The Plaza; the Lookout will make you feel as if you never want to leave. Walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars and boutiques for a one of a kind Kansas City experience. Minutes from I-35, you will be able to easily get access KS & MO.
We are always just a phone call, text or email away but we do not live on site.
The neighborhood is absolutely amazing and has everything you could possibly want within minutes. Within walking distance to the Kansas City famous Q39 Restaurant and just four blocks from Jazz A Louisiana Kitchen, Blue Koi Noodles and KC Smoke Burger. If you enjoy walking, this neighborhood is perfect and you are one block from Roanoke park! Lots of outdoor patios to savor a cup of coffee or a cocktail and enjoy a beautiful day. Westport is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute Uber ride, there you the options are endless. Billiards at Harry's Bar and Tables, Foosball at Buzzard Beach, cigar buff we got you covered at Fidel's Cigar Shop and several bars with craft beers. There are grocery stores, restaurants, bars, boutiques, gyms, yoga studios all within minutes!
The neighborhood is quiet and we truly love and respect our neighborhood so we don't allow any parties or large gatherings at our properties. There will be a $700 fine assessed to any guest that does not follow this policy. We appreciate you respecting our home and neighborhood.
As a guest you will have access to the entire upstairs unit.
This listing is for an upper level unit of a duplex. The stairs to access the unit are inside the front door. The unit below could potentially be occupied by another guest upon your stay. These units can be rented together or separately but are not adjoined.
The space has been professionally designed and contains beautiful and functional furnishings that will take your breath away. Guests will have use of the entire top floor of this unit. It is very spacious and contains a large private kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, 1 smaller office/ bedroom and 1 full bathroom and a large private balcony that is covered and has an outdoor seating area.
* Living Room: The comfortable sectional will easily seat 4- 5 guests with additional seating provided. The 50" flat screen TV is set up for users to be able to log into their Netflix, HULU, YouTube or Amazon Prime accounts. High speed WIFI will allow for streaming movies, conducting zoom calls or gaming. Card games are also provided for anyone that wants to host a fun game night.
* Dining Room: Full coffee bar with an assortment of coffee, creamer and sugar are provided. The coffee bar includes a keurig, drip, french press and pour over brewing options. We also provide a bar kit for anyone that wants to be a bartender for the evening so bring your cocktail guide for entertaining. The dining room table will comfortably seat 6 guests.
* 2 Large Bedrooms: There are 2 large bedrooms each is equipped with a KING size bed, a large closet for storage, and a 40" TV set up with all of the apps! One of the large bedrooms also has a work space and there is a separate work space in the smaller 3 bedroom.
* 1 office/additional small bedroom: The smaller bedroom is equipped with a beautiful work space that overlooks Roanoke Rd. and a comfortable queen size daybed which will sleep 2 additional guests.
* Kitchen - the remodeled kitchen has everything you need from pots, pans, plates, silverware, bakeware and cookie sheets to cook any meal that you desire. If you don't feel like cooking that's not a problem as there are over a 100 hundred different restaurants just minutes from your front door.
* Bathroom - The unit has one large bathroom that is located off the hallway. We provide one large bath towel and one wash cloth per guest as well as Tommy Bahama luxury bath products including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. A hair dryer and dark makeup towels to use for makeup removal are also provided!
*Balcony - The large balcony sits off of the living room and provides an excellent "lookout" for guests. There are 2 swinging chairs along with a comfortable conversation area. This area is perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night.
* Parking - There are 2 free parking spots located behind the building for guest use. Additional street parking is also available.

This protection plan is $45 for all stays under 29 nights, and is included in the cost of your booking. Stays 30-59 nights will be required to pay an additional insurance premium of $305 directly on our website. Stays longer than 59 nights will be separately charged for damage protection extension at the rate of $130/30 days. Please note, guest screening is also required for any bookings made through VRBO or direct. * PARTIES - All gatherings must be limited to 8, this is monitored and guests violating this rule will be charged a mandatory $700 fine. NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED.
* PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet or $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet host provides dog bag stations). There is not a fenced yard but the area is perfect for walking!

Full Refund: Cancel at least 30 days before check-in for a full refund.
50% Refund: Cancel 7 to 30 days before check-in to receive a 50% refund for all nights.
No Refund: Cancel less than 7 days before check-in and the full amount will be charged. Cleaning fee will be refunded.
Special Exception: If you cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in, you will receive a full refund.

The apartment on the upper level is beautiful. Really comfy lounge with a big balcony. Decent sized kitchen and dining room area. Good sized bedrooms, although we used the smaller of the 3 as a study / office while we were there.
The location is great too - loads of great places nearby including Rebel Coffee for coffee and breakfast, Q39 for amazing BBQ and Goat & Rabbit for delicious cocktails.
Easy check in process. Great comms with host!

Loved this very comfortable apartment (it is huge!) in a great location of Kansas City. We would most definitely stay here again when we return.

We stayed in the upstairs unit. The unit was clean and looked just like the online photos. AC worked great. We really enjoyed the outside porch area. Plenty of towels. The dishwasher worked great. Having a washer and dryer available was great. I did have an issue with the back bedroom. The king size bed was very firm and felt like sleeping on cement. I would recommend the owner consider adding a memory foam topper or something similar. Also, the skillet that was available was difficult to cook in. It would be nice to have a non-stick skillet. Overall, we enjoyed out stay.
