The Hyde Park Homestead has been beautifully designed for guests to have the best experience possible during their stay. The home offers 3 floors equipped with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with plenty of space to spread out. The open floor plan on the main floor allows for guests to enjoy the comfortable living room, dining room and kitchen without missing any of the action. The home also offers a private driveway for parking in addition to free street parking right in front of the home.
Host will not be on site during the stay but is just a phone call, text or email away.
Midtown Kansas City and the famous Westport area is one of Kansas City’s top entertainment districts. The neighborhood is home to a number of restaurants and bars, including Kelly's Westport Inn, an Irish-themed bar located inside the oldest building in Kansas City.

Overall, the property is ideal for a large family or friends. The living area and dining room provided ample space for all without feeling crammed. Loved the added bonuses in the house (1) for those that may have left a few personal items at home - which was nice - and (2) the streaming services! Nice to have a bazillion streaming providers at your fingertips. We have stayed at many VRBOs and never had we been offered so many choices to watch movies / shows as a family during our trip. The neighborhood appears to be on the border of "could be sketchy" and "artsy high end" - where one should be comfortable with urban living. Personally, the home was cute and the neighbors were walking to the bus and the homes are historic looking. I definitely understand the appeal of this area in Kansas City, MO. Our visit was during a record heat wave of 100 degree weather. So for us, the entire top floor (master with bath) was unusable during our stay. The owner was extremely wonderful to send extra floor fans to try to cool it down, but it was not enough to keep the top floor cool even with the AC window unit. The bedrooms on the second floor shared one AC window unit so all doors had to remain open to circulate air during the day and night. The first floor was extremely cool even at 74. We enjoyed our stay, unfortunately, the weather was not on our side during our Kansas / MO visit.

Clean, nice kitchen. Lots of extras in kitchen with spices and utensils compared to most VRBO’s. Updated but lots of squeaks on stairs and floors. Attic bedroom can be warm in summer, bathroom there doesn’t not have traditional shower, tub with wand. Very Euro… overall 4.5 stars, neighborhood undergoing a lot of renovations. We didn’t explore the neighborhood much as there for soccer event.

We had a great weekend stay. The house was nice and just as described. The upstairs was a little warm but the window units did their jobs. It just took a while. Overall it was a great stay!

Overall this property is exactly how it appears online. Very well decorated and nice inside. The only 2 complaints would be the dog hair on the living room floor and couch, and the parking situation. I understand that it is a pet friendly property, it just seemed as if the area hadn't been vacuumed since the last tenant. The parking situation off street is just a gravel spot that only fits 1 car unless you want to hang over the sidewalk. Other than that everything else was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. 5 adults and 2 children. Plenty of space and room. Cozy. Owner is quick to answer any questions and the house was perfect for our family group. Clean and had all the amenities we needed. Close to all the attractions, shopping and Arrowhead Stadium! Would defiantly stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay in your home. It had exactly what we needed. The only suggestion I have is to have additional towels for guests. Also, the 2nd floor bathroom door squeaked. Just needs some WD40. It felt very homey, clean and we were very comfortable. There was a broken can opener in the drawer, however, I found a brand new one in that same drawer. I threw the broken one away. Thank you for renting your lovely home to us!

The location was perfect for a wedding we attended at the Harlow. Our large family of four grown boys with three that are married made this five bedroom a great choice because it was so clean, in a lovely neighborhood, and had close proximity to the plaza and the wedding. The appliances were first rate, and so many amenities!

We came into KC for the weekend and to go to a Chiefs game. Spent some time in the Plaza area and the Power and Light area all of which was very close and convenient to get to from the home.
The house was very well kept and clean and the beds were very comfortable!

Family gathering of six adults was enjoyed because we had a wonderful gathering spot. Home is as pictured. Couch is huge, dining table was great to linger after meals. Beautiful themed decor and obviously quality furnishings. Beds and linens were so nice! We cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen with spices, coffee & fixings, paper products and good supply of cookware. Would definitely stay again or try another of CozyKC properties.

This house is amazing. There is so much attention to detail. The kitchen was well stocked with delicious coffee bar. The beds are the best and so comfy. The house is big and spacious, so plenty of room for everyone. The neighborhood is easy to access downtown and great restaurants. The neighborhood was safe and had great parking! I highly recommend. The owner is also great at responding and very accomodating.

Our stay at Cozy in KC was outstanding. The home was exactly as advertised. The decor is tastefully done with comfortable furniture, bathrooms are stocked with essentials and they provide extras in case you forget something. We baked a lot of homemade goodies and prepared an early Mother’s Day breakfast on check out day. The kitchen is very well stocked and big enough to prepare meals/move around. I accidentally dropped one of the drinking glasses and notified the host who was extremely understanding and kind about it. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch and check in/check out was simple and easy with wonderful communication. We will definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise.

This home was perfect for 5 friends to get together to catch up. Beautifully updated older home with nice front porch to hang out on. Within a 15 minutes walk to the heart of the Westport district where there are plenty of restaurants and cute boutique shops. The manager was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay.

From the moment we walked into the door we loved this beautifully remodeled house. With five comfortable bedrooms and three full bathrooms (all spotless), everyone had space to relax. The kitchen provided what we needed to cook breakfast each morning. Plus, everything we wanted to do in KC - restaurants, museums, theaters, shopping - seemed to be a short drive away. I highly recommend this house for your next stay in KC.

I took my son, daughter and their families to Kansas City for a Chiefs game. This property is located central to everything we wanted to do. Power & Light District, Crown Center, Country Club Plaza and Arrowhead Stadium. Spacious and beds****!!

We came to KC for our mom's memorial in Buckner, 40 minutes away. My sister, her husband (2 dogs) and a family friend from Texas and my husband and me from NC. The house was well appointed. We truly felt at home. The decor is great and there is attention paid to detals. We had family come over and we all fellowshipped around the big beautiful dining room table. The livingroom was perfect for the 5 adults and the dogs.
The kitchen had everything we needed including food staorage for left over food for the fridge. Coffee bar is VERY well stocked.
My husband and I stayed in the master on the 3rd floor. Stairs are a bit narrow but room is large and comfy. There's a claw foot tub but with a hand shower. Little ackward for my husband so he just used the shower on the first floor off the kitchen.
The neighborhood is older but we felt comfortable and safe. It is central to a lot of things.
Parking is in the back and fit our 2 cars fine.
Kristen was very quick to respond to questions. Check in and out was seamless and super easy.
If we were to come back to KC we would stay at Hanover House again.
