It is a very nice hotel recomended for families with small children(bellow 12 years old)

Our room was on the ground floor and our balcony was as in front of the pool

The cleanness , the kindness of the employees, the food ,and I want specially to thank Mr. Alexandros (F&B)in particular, who gave us a very nice surprise on the last day of our stay.

Gr8 family vacation

The resort was well setup. The pool choice and slides were perfect. The evening entertainment was very good.

The room was very basic. We had an ants nest in the room and the cleaners response was shrugging of the sholders.

Nice Asian restaurant, 3 option for baby pool, pleasant staff ready to help

Waterpark opening at 1200 p.m. , same food every day with 1-2 modifications, long distance walking from the room to the hotel facilities

So awful that I immediately cancelled a future reservation there.

very little.

toilet wasn’t working. dirty room with an old bag of nuts in the wardrobe. patio door was so condensated we couldn’t see out of it. phone was broken. entire place smells of sewage. dated decor throughout. food was awful. and it was positioned in the flight path so there’s a low flying airplane overhead every 5 minutes.

If you have small children, this could be the place for you, if not book a nice place.

The buffet was large, however they did NOT cater very well for Gluten or Dairy free (they did to make the best with what they had, and they were very nice. The water slides were great. So if you have kids under 10 and who enjoy very bland simple food then this place would be great.

Most staff were rude, they only tried to help when you threatened to leave the hotel. The first room we were put into ruined our stay! They did move us but I think the damage and the effort it took for them to do the right thing just left a bade taste.

Exceptional

Absolutely had to leave a review after reading some of the previous reviews left. First thing we laughed about the whole time we were there was one of the reviews said "the drinks were watered down in the all inclusive package.." this could only be true if you're used to drinking pure gasoline, the drinks were definitely not watered down, they were strong and they were amazing. Plenty of variety as well. I saw someone complain about the plastic cups... It's a waterpark for Christ sake, could you imagine if one glass was broken in or around a pool? Use your head.. The room was absolutely fantastic, very comfortable bed, huge balcony that overlooked the park with a view of the sea and sunset. Housekeeping came everyday and made sure everything was great. The food was brilliant. I just can't understand the reviews that were knocking it. There was so much variety that we never had the same plate twice. Great mix of local and international food, hot food and fresh salads (Greek salad was a highlight as you'd expect) the pizza and gyros station were amazing, fresh wood fire pizzas being cooked all the time for you to just go grab a slice as you please. The waterpark was absolutely brilliant, we had so much fun going on the slides, and we never had to wait to go on the slides, the lifeguards were great too . There were also plenty of quieter pools to just lounge out as well, again great variety depending on your mood or situation. The bars never had a line that took more than 5 minutes at its worst, and often it was empty to just walk up and be served immediately. Love to give a special mention to Stavros in the sports bar, he was always so happy and positive - an asset for the resort for sure. All in all if you were looking for the Grand Hyatt style 5 star resort this probably isn't quite the place for you, but if you are looking for a brilliant time, amazing food, drinks and fun then this is it for you.

The kids loved the pools, the entertainment was really good. Good selection of food.Our room was really modern

We were made purchase 2 rooms because we had 3 kids, 8,5, and 1.Our room that we used had a double bed, 2 single beds and a cot. We did not need or use the second room. The room was never cleaned properly or any pool areas.The floors were really dirty and there was a smell of sewage. The staff came across as really unhappy, never smiling and just miserable in general

Exceptional resort for families.

It was such a wonderful stay. The location is perfect - easy to get to from the airport but convenient for trips out around the island. The staff could not have been nicer, especially in the spa where the service was exceptional. Food was varied and excellent. My children (aged 11 and 13) had so much fun at the water park. As a family that tries to find somewhere new every holiday, this is the one resort we would return to again.

Family reunion

The property was very clean and the majority of the staff work very hard and were very helpful. The cleaners were exceptional. The snack bars were amazing serving fresh Gyros and pizza daily.. those 2 chefs worked very hard and kept up with the long queues everyday with no help from other staff members. The food in the Asian restaurant was good. The water park for the little ones was very good but the water was extremely cold.

The manager of the Asian restaurant was rude and very unhelpful. He made the evening more difficult than it needed to be just because the reception booked 2 too many people for our reservation. The bar was always undermanned and took way too long to get served during busy periods. The food was very repetitive and there wasn’t enough cooks to serve the food in the evening.. I requested that we all stay in rooms near to each other unfortunately my youngest 2 sons were at complete opposite ends of the complex.. the level of facilities in that room was very poor no hot water, only 1 big towel and 2 small ones between 2 men!

Large room with balcony, not far from the sea. Comfortable beds.

The food choice was big, but not tasty. Parking is far from the hotel. Water very cold in the pools. Water in the shower is chlorinated with bad smell. Local alcohol is awful. Very loud music till night, impossible to sleep. Animation is decent.

Very good

Foods and drinks are excellent and plenty. Staff are very friendly and very nice. Ambient sounds nice and attractive. It is nice place for children.

We got massages there but for first time was not good when we complained about that to manager of the hotel he provide second appointment which was really nice. Special thanks to manager.

Food lovely, cleaners brilliant. Shows good.

The lack of bars serving drinks, queues & plastic rubbish cups. No kettle in room. Cocktails very limited. Lighting in Restaurant not very ambient. Only having 1 visit allowed to al a carte Restaurant in a 2 week stay. Should be 1 visit per week.

Booking a stay there was an expensive mistake.

The kids greatly enjoyed the water slides, kids disco and other entertainment for kids in the evening.

Food was repetitive, the pools were dirty with little visibility at times which was very off putting considering there is little else to do all day other than beach and pool. Our room was the junior suite, which looks like a recent annex to the main hotel building...those rooms are on the periphery of the property meaning every time you need to go to the pool or access the main facilities, it's a bit of walk through a concrete jungle. Also hunting for deck chairs by the pool every morning wasn't fun either.

Good with outstanding features.

We had a lovely week long stay at Gouves Watetpark, we were very happy with our accommodations despite uncomfortable mattresses and the staff were very welcoming and always helpful. My only other criticism would be the understaffing issues, at times we found bar staff worked of their feet for long periods and waiters having to hide whilst taking a sip of water.

Great for the kids, with excellent pool and kids club facilities.

Great for children. The room facilities are modern. The restaurant served a variety of food.

Noisy into the evening so my young children struggled to sleep until 10pm. Not suitable for vegans. Coffee was extremely poor!
