The location, although you couldn’t park near the hotel.
Being an old building the floors creaked and we didn’t get a good nights sleep due to other people moving about.

It’s a really beautiful old hotel with cozy rooms and lots of old details, paintings, cupboards and other cool stuff. The owners were so nice to us. We didn’t speak any Spanish but they were very patient and friendly.
The beds were maybe not that great and you hear some sounds of the other guests but it didn’t really bother us that much.

All perfect
It is an old building, you ear the rest of the clients walking

Staff was pleasant, good location in the city center and good price. Beds were comfortable and rooms tidy
No parking on the street, laundry was not on premises, no breakfast available and difficult to find breakfast on Sunday morning in the surrounding area. Hotel employee came in in the middle of the night to fix something in the toilet

300 years old house as a charming hotel was a trip in the past time... perfect location on cental square in Bergara for a history tour.

Although parking was difficult, I did find a spot within 200 yards and my car was still there in the morning. The town is old world and charming and the hotel is a lovely quaint old building with great features. The town centre shops and bars etc are right there outside the door, I even took advantage of the closeness and had a haircut. The place is well worth a visit but it is not convenient for one night travelling. It's too far from the main road routes.
You can't improve it unless you moved it nearer to the main roads, but it is a lovely place to stay if you can find a parking spot

Located right in the center of old town, nice building, good rooms, friendly staff. Numerous bars and restaurants near.
Parking is a challenge. Please always indicate request for parking during booking. WiFi is rather poor, improvements would be of help.

Great location, warm, big rooms, good breakfast and excellent hosts.
The house inside is a little bit noisy, you can hear other room's doors, steps, and shower. But nothing alarming.

The location was great. In the center of everything. Nice little town. Nice hotel. homely.
They were closed when we arrived. We waited an hour for them to open at 8pm

I liked everything about the hotel and the family running it. They were so nice, not speaking English but managing to understand each other, extremely helpful people. We stayed there as we had a family member at the hospital in another village so didn't spend any time in Bergara, but it was the best place to sleep in. Comfy beds, clean room and bathroom, window with wooden blinds that kept out the night party noise from the street.
The door at room 13 is slightly lower than it should be, so you get the light and noise from the corridor, but it was quiet generally. We just had a strange feeling because of not being able to close the door properly. It's an old house with history and they preserved the wonky door, but that needs to be fixed someday. Still slept perfectly.
