Awesome. Staff was exceptional. You were allowed your privacy and breakfast was good.

It was clean and comfortable and secured. Also close to a beach and lots of restaurants.

Clean good looking rooms consistent with the pictures on booking.com. Amazing view of the sea. Great host and staff. Close to a very nice beach. Good restaurants around. I recommend trying the coffee and food from Kalamaki Mare Suites.

We enjoyed our stay the bed was comfortable and lots of clean white towels

The gentleman who greeted us and worked the cafe was fantastic! He was very helpful boxing our taxi and arranging our room for an early check in.

There was no light in the hallway at night and it was hard to open the door with key in the evening

Nice place with some issues that you should consider

The room was very clean. Also pretty much cozy. There is a mini kitchen, which is nicely hidden in the wardrobe. The personnel and the service were good. There are free parking slots in front of the hotel for its clients. Nice public beach just on the opposite side of the hotel.

We had a room on the first floor without a balcony. It was pretty noisy from the street. Small shower room - it will be covered with water after you take a little shower. Google maps navigation to this place was not very accurate and clear, and we had to manually search for the place. You'll be lucky if you find a free parking slot nearby.

The room was super clean, A/C was exceptional, blankets were cleaned and wrapped in plastic, got a personalized greeting letter.

We thought we were getting a balcony but we got the only room without a bacony.

Perfect holiday! :) Our room was very nice furnished, there is also a kitchen with fridge. A small garden belongs to the room, so you can make your own breakfast and eat it in your private garden! The location is also perfect. You can find many restaurants and smaller shops. The busstop (to Chania) is in front of the building. We really enjoyed the stay and definitely coming back!

Very high price/performance ratio

Location is very good. The sea in front of the hotel is cleaner than other parts of the bay. Bus stop is only 5 meters away and it is well connected. The room is well equipped with a small kitchen. A/C works good. Sea view is nice to see in the morning. The personal is extremely friendly and helpful.

There was no curtain at the shower but it was acceptable for a beach holiday place.

If anything then beds were on a harder side, they should all have matress toppers. We burrowed one from the 3.rd bed.

Pleasant

Very friendly landlord. Place to park our car in front of the hotel. Equipped kitchen with a bottel of water.

We complained of smoke in the room, we were told that it comes from burnt food but it stayed there all 4 nights and was like cigarettes. We tried to change the room but was not any available. For non-smokers was very unpleasant to smell it all the time. No balcony.

A warm stay!

Very friendly staff, easy check in, super clean with a great beach in the front. Very convenient location. Upon arrival we got fresly baked cookies and home made jam. The apt was equiped with all the necessary amentities. They provide even baking tools! Thw hotel's cafe in the ground floor has a great selection of home made delicacies and freshly grounded coffee!

The road in the front was busier than we estimated.

- large and comfortable room, well equipped kitchen, daily cleaning and replacement of towels and bed cover; - great balcony view; - the beach is a few meters away; - multiple jogging opportunities in the morning in both directions - Stalos and Chania; - close to Chania Old Town, good bus connection; - very friendly and helpful owner and his staff (Thank you once again Manolis).

A lovely place to stay in a cosy little spot right by the beach! and Very friendly staff/owner.

The host was fantastic, he met us on arrival to provide us with the keys. The hotel from the outside looks very warm and welcoming and so does the inside. The host was really friendly, and it was a lovely welcome for our first moment in Crete. (on our last day, because our flight was really late, he even allowed us to stay in the room for a small additional cost, which was really needed for us, as we were able to squeeze in one more full day at the beach). The room gets cleaned daily at very convenient times. We used to go out sometimes early, sometimes a little later, and we were never bothered by the cleaning staff, so that was very much appreciated. The balcony overlooking the sea and the beach is great. Early in the morning to see the sunrise, or to have some wine or a cold beer in the evenings. The aircon in the room is great too, and the cosy kitchen facilities were great. The beds were comfortable, and the bedsheets very smooth and clean. There's also a lovely coffee shot next door, which is very convenient. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants, (so if someone doesn't want to drink and drive) there are some fantastic options).

I would say what could have been better, are just some small things, which are probably easy to fix. They (their lack of) didn't make our stay uncomfortable, but for the sake of improvement, I will share our feelings. 1. We didn't manage to find a hair dryer in the room, if one could be provided this would be fantastic, especially for after going to the beach, shower etc etc. 2. In the corridor (1st floor - UK standard, 2nd floor European standard) the light didn't seem to work, so it made it a bit tricky to find the key hole in the dark. 3. Something to clarify in relation to parking - parking is available, and it is street parking only that is available. There's a restaurant opposite the hotel, where we always tried to park the car, it was much more convenient there. (This is just something that could be mentioned on the description). Because once we parked in front of the hotel/café, and the café owner rushed out and told us he's expecting a delivery etc. so we shouldn't park there, even though on the 1st day when we arrived, we were told by the owner it's ok. So that was a bit confusing. So I would simply suggest - park the car on the opposite side of the road (near the restaurant). 4. Perhaps not daily replenishment, but at least a one off small pack of a simple set of shower gel and shampoo would have been really nice. Again all of the above, didn't bother us that much - but if anyone wants to make this lovely hotel an even better place I strongly recommend fixing these little things.
