Friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful home. Elegant kitties in the garden !
Mini fridge not cold. The basket of coffees and teas was skimpy and never replenished.

Good size. Had a washing machine. Great internet connection.
The bed was a little hard to get in and out of. Missing a couple of kitchen utensils, like a spatula.

Quiet and pleasant accommodation. Lovely garden. Excellent hospitality.
An opening window would have been beneficial in very hot weather.

Location. I would like to say breakfast also.
Breakfast, what breakfast!
We arrived at approx 15:30, room was not ready due to a problem with the bed linen but not an issue as we intended to visit some local sites. However, we were politely asked whether we would like Tea or coffe for breakfast and at what time. I said that 07:30 would be good but I could see that the lady, I assume the owner, looked somewhat uncomfortable with that so I enquired what time would suit her. 08:00 came the reply, so I said that would be fine. Pointing to the kitchen of the main house we were informed that breakfast would be served in there. With this we drove off to visit the newly opened DDay memorial.
Next morning promptly at 08:00 we walked into the kitchen to be greeted by approx 6 people sitting round a table. A white haired gent leapt to his feet "Non, non, non" "Not possible"and ushered us out. As the lady that spoke a little English was not around we had no option than leave without breakfast. Three things particularly annoyed me . . .
1. The utter rudeness of the man whom I can only assume was a family member. There was only one other single guest staying at the B&B.
2. Nobody available with whom to explain the issue to us.
3. Adjoining our room was a kitchenette. If we'd had been informed the day before there would be an issue with breakfast we could have made our own provisions.
Didn't put us in the best of moods for our 350 mile drive ahead of us.

An hidden gem! Fantastic location and extremely nice staff. We will stay again.
Everything was perfect.

It is a B&B very well located, at 3km from Arromanches, one of the main visits of D-day and 8km from Bayeux a worth visiting town. The couple who run the place are very welcoming. They are well informed of the history of the area and gave me very good recommendations on what to visit. The place is very comfortable and clean. It has a kitchen that you can use although there is also a good restaurant nearby. The breakfast is filling and includes very good homemade jams. The place is near the beach where you can walk following a well demarcated path.
