Very nice view. The hotel and the rooms are cosy and the free bikes are a big plus. You can easily get around the island.
There was a very bad smell in the room (felt like something rotten) which was so bad that it wakes you up in the middle of the night.
Also, lack of flexibility and understanding from the stuff regarding the arrival and check in (we had been stuck because of a tropical storm, unable to reach the island. No refund for the first night and when we finally got there the next morning the room was not ready - we therefore paid for one room that we were not even able to use as soon as we got there it being specified that it was low season and the hotel was half empty…).

The location is simply amazing, right off the beach! The rooms have a very home-y feeling to them, I could have stayed there forever :) the staff is helpful with booking transport and tips for what to do on an island. Would recommend for a solo traveler or a family who wants some peace and quiet. They also provide free bikes and snorkeling gear!

Location, cleanliness, and the staff were all great. The café and on site laundry were also convenient!

I had such an absolutely perfect stay on Caye Caulker at this sweet cabana! Emelita was so welcoming and helpful with everything I needed. A few highlights: I appreciated the large jug of filtered drinking water available in the room, the amazing private front porch, all of the comfy chairs and hammocks situated outside on the property to enjoy the water and the views, and little touches like the helpful sheet of restaurant recommendations and the free sunscreen out by the office for guests to use. My cabana had an air conditioning unit in the bedroom which worked so well to cool down the room for sleeping. It was also nice to have a fridge to keep leftovers and a kitchen area that seemed very well stocked for cooking if you choose (I did not cook anything though, as there were too many great restaurants nearby to visit). There are also bikes available for guests to use during the stay which is a great way to explore the island. It’s a great location, away from the noise of the main area but you can walk there in about 15 min to experience it. I would definitely recommend Colinda Cabanas to anyone visiting this adorable little island in the future!
the water pressure in the shower was a bit low (I think I read this can be a problem everywhere on the island so it didn’t bother me)

Loved that we could use the bikes, very convenient.
The AC in the bedroom was great, the rest of the place was a bit warm.

Nestled outside the main part of the island amongst the shade of palm trees. Great privacy! Really liked the access to bikes for the duration of our stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Staff were so welcoming and friendly and helpful. I loved the private dock and felt very comfortable and relaxed here.
The sound insulation between the below and above units was not great so I could hear the upstairs visitors moving furniture and walking around often. There were also children/a family living next door that would play on my patio/in my hammock and right outside my windows as well as on the private dock that were disruptive at times.

Love the location and the caretakers are exceptional. Everyone was kind and helpful. Bikes come with the rental, which is awesome. Enjoyed my mornings at the cafe. Beautiful, more than comfortable, and quiet location.

Clean safe property. Nice pier. Very nice staff.
Our cabana was close to the laundry area and the associated noise but still very nice.

The staff, the facilities and the room in general was perfect!! The bikes were so so handy. The location isn’t amazing, but with the bikes it didn’t matter where we were.
The fans weren’t effective with the heat

When we arrived we found out that they upgraded our room to a cabana more than double in price. They were very welcoming and had a snorkeling tour booked for us within a few minutes of us arriving. It felt very safe.
There was no on-site like some of the other hotels, but the nearest beach was a short walk away so it didn't matter much.

Very nice cabana, right on the beach. Staff is very nice and helpful and communication with them was great. Beach facilities are great and they include beach towels, snorkeling gear, canoe, lift jackets, even sun screen and a private dock with sun beds chairs, etc.
The bikes included with each room are the best way to get around the Island and a great bonus.
Room was a bit small for 3, but manageable. Water at the beach/dock at the resort is full of sea grass and can't swim much, but that's the case for most of the Island areas facing the reef (East). Head to Split and Iguana Reef for great beaches and better swimming experiences, quick 5-10min bike ride.

The staff was wonderful! The owner, Kari, is so lovely and helpful. The rooms are quaint and have everything you need for your stay. The grounds are adorable. We loved having the bikes included in our stay and used them daily! We had coffee at the cafe a few times and my husband couldn't stop raving about it! I have some sensitivities to smells and chemicals and they were very accommodating. You truly feel like "guests" not customers here!
We had a couple issues with the a/c and coffee grinder not working properly, but Kari was always very responsive in getting things fixed. The location is a little far from the main area of town, though "far" is relative here, meaning about a 5 minute bike ride! There was some sargassum washed up on this side of the island, as there is everywhere. We spent much of our time on the west side of the island because there was no seaweed and the water is calmer. Apparently, that changes based on the time of year and direction of the wind!

awesome view on the ocean, nice hammocks to chill in and great swim spot
rooms are only cleaned every second day and for the toilet bin that can be smelly. cabinas are far from town but you get free bikes that works well

fantastic location. free bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear etc. clean & colorful rooms

We moved here after deciding to stay in wonderful Caye Caulker for a bit longer and our first hotel was booked. We were sooooo glad we moved - this was amazing, and cheaper than the other one. Really good value (for Belize). Fantastic facilities, clean and stylish. friendly staff, lovely comfy chairs and loungers on one of the few bits of beach on the island. We were just sorry we couldn’t stay longer!
Nothing negative to report!

Close to the water with its own dock and lounge chairs on a small beach. there was whole coffee beans in the room to make freshly brewed coffee every day just the way I do it at home. There were a lot of sand fleas that chewed up our legs.
During our stay there was construction and renovation going on at the property with late evening work creating a lot of noise making it difficult to relax. No air conditioning in our unit. Very small room. Double bed to small for two people.

Location was nice. It was quiet and nice waterfront area yet still close enough to walk to everything. Fresh coffee beans for coffee was a nice touch.

Absolutely beautiful cabanas, just look at the photos! Bike included as part of room price and kayaks and snorkel gear also included. Very tranquil and beautiful location. Air con really good and bed was so comfy!
Location amazing in lots of ways but a bit out of town which meant lovely and peaceful but a bit of a walk back at night in the dark after dinner.
4.8
A lovely quiet location not too far from all the restaurants etc. It is beautifully appointed, and extremely clean not just in the room but around the whole resort! the complimentary bikes were amazing and made it so quick and easy to get everywhere. they took care of our snorkelling trip which was great and gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations!
The hobbit house is obviously quite small (and the bed is small) but they have put up lots of hooks and shelves which makes it more manageable.
The aircon unit is very effective but very loud so we had the dilemma of getting hot at night or having lots of noise.

Everything! the location was private but convenient they lent bikes and other equipment. the views and the beach were amazing

Best accomodations on Caye caulker. Fell in love with everything about colinda cabanas. The staff was amazing! They did some pre arrival shopping for us and hooked us up with a fantastic snorkeling trip. Kari and Juan were awesome (as well as everyone else) cabanas are incredibly spacious, clean and have everything you need for your stay. Their dock and palapa in the water are the perfect place to have your morning coffee. Complimentary bikes and they have a little store with goodies on site.. if you are going to Caye caulker, this is where you need to stay.
Absolutely nothing, it was a dream come true

loved our stay here - staff were so so lovely and the location was a beautiful 10 min walk to centre of town so it was lovely & chilled :)

Colinda Cabanas was a lovely, clean, well maintained property with a super-friendly and helpful team. No matter the question or request they happily directed and supported our needs.

location beach front, cabanas clean, bikes and kayaks for free
warm water issue, but solved within a day.

Our oceanfront room at Colinda Cabanas was incredible. We loved lounging in the hammock and chairs on the covered deck, and there were lots of hammocks and chairs down on the sand and dock as well. The location is excellent, just a short walk from restaurants and the center of town, but nice and quiet. Kitchenette was great and had everything we needed. Quiet bedroom with AC made for the best sleep of our trip. Staff were so friendly and responsive. Comparing to other hotels we walked by, we felt like Colinda Cabanas was the best for sure, and we would definitely stay again next time we’re in Caye Caulker.
