The room was a decent size. The bar & restaurant were good also
The hotel is located in the busy part of the city. Uber drivers refuse to pick you up. When the do pick you up they panic & worry about there car. It can literally take 40 minutes to do 2km. It is total madness

Very good staff. I extended my stay for a total of 12 days and I never had exactly the same breakfast twice. The manager knew my name without me telling him. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning every day. Sufficient security.
The location is right in the city center which may not be what you're looking for in Kampala as it means being overlooking the busiest market here and a lot of noise. It also makes it difficult to get transport in and out due to the congestion.
The hotel facilities are minimal at the moment. The gym on the top floor hasn't been equipped yet, and while the food was good when I ordered it from the restaurant at dinner time it took a very long time to arrive. If they can improve the facilities on offer and work more on the restaurant it will be a lot better. This is a relatively new hotel location so I can understand that these things take time.

The location of the breakfast and the staff are very good
Frequent power outages and elevator not working are bad

The management of the kitchen is not good. A simple dinner for 4 persons took 1,5 hour to prepair.

It was a very, clean an safe space!
Warm water and good Wifi.
It is located in Downtown Kampala. So specially European Tourists have to know, that you have to be very careful, when you are walking around by day. And it's too dangerous outside the hotel by night. And the matress is not soft. And it's very loud.

Location
No toothbrush & toothpaste provision for customers. Had to go out to buy.
Came to hotel early morning asked for water but receptionist was quite curt and said none is available till morning. Morning came and afternoon but no water so had to go out to buy and still got challenged as to why water is being brought into the hotel. Hotel doesn’t seem to realise water is life and really needed, but more concerned about making money on “water” selling the smallest bottles @ 3k - no big bottle on sale, rather than the welfare of guests. Ideally each room should have a complimentary bottle of water provided after cleaning daily then you can charge for subsequent orders. Nearly died of thirst but hotel wasn’t interested. Please do better.
Also got woken up by staff ringing the room phone incessantly until I roused, to ask for a 6k payment which came about coz they provided 2sodas when I asked for water… they couldn’t wait till I woke up n showed myself at reception, they had to wake me up despite knowing I just came back up to the hotel in the early hours from a night out!
Had to drop the call and tell them where to shove it as I hadn’t checked out and will settle bills at time of checkout and dropped back to sleep

It can be noisy during the day as it is close to a busy street.

Spectacular property right in the center of Kamapal. Excellent rooms, beautiful furnishings, exceptional staff and cuisine.
Go to them also for the excellent value for money. You will never regret it!

Within the absolute chaotic and noisy downtown mess of Kampala this place is an amazing exception. Good rooms, basic but good breakfast and good location to fetch a boda-boda to go everywhere

The breakfast was lovely. The location was not good for me. Found it noisy and difficult to access due to traffic congestion on nearby roads

the environment down town was more noisy than expected (no problem on a holiday but possibly one during a business trip)

For the price. It’s okay. The rooms are clean and the Wi-Fi is great. The staff is friendly and there is security
The rooms are located in a hallway and sounds travels down the hall way so early morning is really loud. Also it’s located in the middle of downtown which makes it hard to get to during the day

The staff were really welcoming, helpful and friendly.
The restaurant went out of its way to provide vegetarian food
The busy downtown location was perfect for access to all the big markets and shopping areas.
Also handy access to main mosque and temple.

The staff were great, kind and humble. They were ready to help any time you ask them which to me that is something I'm grateful.
Well, I did like the breakfast, but from my point of view, i think they should have a variety in serving breakfast.

Great spacious rooms with ac.
The staff is professional and friendly.
Right in the center of kampala.
Great breakfast with nearly everything i wanted.
You can choose between rooms that have a window to the corridor (quiet but lack of natural light) and rooms with window to the main street (more noisy).
As the gym was not yet ready, the manner recommended another gym close by.

An oasis of calm in the midst of the chaotic capital city. Really good new hotel. Rooms were very good, WiFi good, nice breakfast, really nice 3rd floor restaurant balcony to sit and observe Kampala city life with a cold beer. Walking distance from the bus terminals
