Property management was super easy to get a hold of and very quick to respond to a couple requests we had. Even though the decor is a bit older, it was very clean and well furnished. I’d stay there again.

We’ve stayed at many VRBO homes over the past decade and this was a good one. Now a retiree and full-time homemaker that loves her cleaning supplies and spends loads of time in the kitchen, I was immediately at home in this house because the kitchen welcomed me! It was well stocked with basic pantry items to plentiful, lightweight Corelle dishes - my favorite, cleaning supplies, kitchen linens, pots and pans and a quiet dishwasher. And then of course, the VIEW. NICE. Even from the kitchen sink window. The space, the beds, the tables, were comfortable for our family of six, four adults and two children. Having the master bedroom on the main floor was also a plus as my husband isn’t a stair climber. The only discomfort was slow or sometimes completely off internet. Also available were beach chairs, sand toys and a sled for the kids - to slide down the dunes - so fun - much appreciated. Thank you.

Beautiful views of the coastline, plenty of space, and easy check-in, check-out. Would happily rent again!

Our family really enjoyed this property. It's an older home. It's decorated nicely, clean, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Good water pressure and hot water in the showers. The kitchen had all the cookware you need. We plan to rent it again.

The house was very clean and comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances. The view was incredible. We loved the small town atmosphere and our host, Katie, was very helpful and friendly.

This house was great. It was a surprise for my mother in law and she LOVED it. The location cannot be beat. Plus we got to see the northern lights and it was PERFECT for that.
There is not a lot of air flow in the upstairs area so if you are there in the summer, keep that in mind. Fans would be helpful to get air moving —there’s one but more would help.
Yes, parts of the cabin are dated, but it’s charming. There is plenty of room for people to have space and the rooms are good sized. The fireplace and chimney are awesome — I would like to come back on a stormy day and have a fire!
We loved this house and we would absolutely return!!

misleading on the ads NOT ON BEACH, House was clean and comfortable Kitchen well stocked. Internet almost not functioning, long wait periods for downloads, would have been better off saying no Internet. Repaired upstairs toilet twice, someone did a bad repair job on the device

Cozy and clean home with a beautiful view and quiet neighborhood. Plenty of household items to make you feel right at home. The access down to the water was tricky. Going down was not too bad but coming back up was a workout. Wifi password was provided, was able to connect but there was no internet service, so it made for good opportunity to disconnect from the world for a bit!

Beautiful views out the windows, wonderful house. We love the area for walks on the beach, tide pools, sweeping views on the sand dune, Pelican Brewery, and cozy evenings playing games by living room fire. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. Our family was very comfortable.

We loved our stay! The house has absolutely breathtaking views. The house is older but well kept and very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with pot / pans, coffee maker, plates, cups, etc. which was great. The only downsides were the internet is not great so my husband had a hard time working. I also didn’t fully understand the cliff / large dune that the house was on. It was a big difficult to navigate with young kids but it all worked out. We would definitely stay here again, a great place for sure!!

We had a wonderful stay! The listing and reviews gave us the details to know what to expect. The view is second to none, and our time playing in the water and the tide pools around the cape were priceless. The house super clean, and the master bed was very comfy. Thanks for a great stay!

The property has one of a kind views from multiple area in the house! We had a wonderful time being directly on the beach and having access to the beach very easily. Not only did we get to wake up to the ocean view but we also got to witness amazing sunsets! The house was well stocked with all the things you need for vacation: linens, bathroom accessories, pots & pans, etc. our only complaint is lack of air flow on those hot days. With the main windows unable to open, we only had small windows, front door and one box fan to create air flow. Other than that, it was such a special time to stay and experience these views!

Well stocked house right on the beach. It's in a great location away from the crowds but an easy walk to The Pelican Pub. We'll be back!

We took two families on vacation at this property! It was perfect for us. You can’t beat the location or the view! Easy beach access and short walk to the big sand hill and brewery! It was stocked well and everything worked! A little dated, but we didn’t mind. Would for sure stay here again!

This property was beautiful and right on the beach. The beach access is private so not a lot if people which is exactly what you want. We had an amazing time!

Nice beachfront location but was unable to walk along the shoreline as there were no stairs with a fairly steep drop off for seniors to climb down and then up the 8 ft. high sand mound. Inside of the home/wallpaper could use some updating, especially the upstairs couches, uncomfortable, but the home has a well stocked kitchen and lots of room for family to spread out & enjoy the beautiful ocean view!

This place was amazing. Your front yard is the beach, you do need to walk up and down a short hill to get down to the water. Comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, very clean. It was a girls' trip and we enjoyed watching the waves inside from the wrap around windows and sitting out on the wrap around deck. Pacific City is a cute little town that has excellent restaurants and cute shops. Not super touristy and we enjoyed that also. We have already decided that this is the house we will go to on our next beach holiday.

Here's my honest review of this place:
The house is clean, better stocked than most- coffee filters, shampoo, body wash, etc. And, it's in a gated community so you feel very safe! There's a page in the welcome book (very informative) that let's you know very casually that there. are. BEARS. here. AGAIN! This wasn't mentioned before we spent essentially $500/ night after the fees and taxes. Furthermore, beach access is down the road between two houses. It's quite steep and you're just walking down a cliff made of sand. If you're disabled, or older there's no way you're getting down- or better yet, back up it. You do however have a sand bar cliff right behind the house that the kids could play on. *NOT DIRECT BEACH ACCESS* Of course the ocean is quite the temptation, if you decide to let them go run from the waves or what have you, you can see them from the house. But something to note, unless you haven't been to the coast before, is the wind blows almost constantly. And the wind you get right next to the ocean on a cliff? So strong that I am watching the windows bend in. I'm not worried however because even though this house is old, it's quality. Double paned windows, deadbolts on the doors, and of course we're in a gated community so I'm not too worried about car getting broken into, etc. But back to the house, you have baseboard heating, working blinds, really decent TV options, coffee maker, phone, local menus, and plenty of seating. 4/5 ☆'s

A beautiful setting overlooking the sandy beach. Everyone appreciated the layout of the house with rooms located above and below and a very functional kitchen. The balcony is outstanding (no pun intended). Ellen, our property contact was very helpful and accommodating.

The furniture is very outdated. The overall house is rather old and needs to be modernized. The kitchen was fully stocked and had some updates.

Always a great experience visiting Pacific city and this property location. We have been staying there since my girls were two years old. Now 23 years old with their own family. Wife always had a special bond to this place. She was later asked

Perfect house for our single family beach trip. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute or our three day stay. With the dunes and ocean just off the back deck we played yard games, flew kites, played in the ocean, built sand castles, made s'mores on the beach, explored tide pools at Cape Kiwanda, and conquered the famed 240 ft. sand dune. We enjoyed lunch at the Pelican, Pizza from Megs, and barbecued on the deck.
We found the house clean and the kitchen well appointed. The furniture is aged, but in great condition. The funky octagon house shape makes for panoramic views and good use of the square footage. The three downstairs bedrooms were good size.
When we go back for another stay I would like to schedule a fishing adventure with one of the many recommended dory boat companies.

This property had amazing views!!! We also loved the location and neighborhood-quiet street, gated drive, not a lot of foot traffic near the property. The mgr was also very nice. However, previous reviews about the fishy smell in the refrigerator have not been addressed and the dishwasher also seemed to run constantly unless you left the door open. The property is definitely dated, but clean aside from the smells of the frig and being an older rental. In the end, the price was reasonable, and the property served our #1 priority-great ocean views.

I almost don't want to let anyone know about this home, in fear it won't be available for the next time we want to stay!
The open living room with outer deck is great to view the ocean. Beds are comfy, shower has a firm spray, the kitchen is fully equipped, and a large level sand area sits above and back from the ocean beach/ tide where the public walk by.

This was a great house. We loved being so close to the ocean. The walk to town was not bad either. It had most everything we needed. I wish I’d brought binoculars thou but we had everything else we needed.

We had a girls weekend and choose this house because it was on the beach. We couldn't have been happier! The location is right on the beach and had amazing views. The beds were comfy and there was room for all 6 of us comfortably. This will be our new annual trip location for sure!
