Bayshore in Waldport, Oregon is known for its long beach and homes that sit right on the sand. This home has spectacular ocean views from all bedrooms, main room and even the master shower. Enjoy the main level open concept living with beautifully furnished kitchen and dining. There are 5 flat screen TVs through out the home with the one in living room being a 70 inch. There are also Sonos speakers in living room for streaming your favorite music - just download the Sonos App.
There are three bedrooms, 2 masters with king sized beds, one on main level and the other upstairs. Third bedroom has a queen sized bed. The large bonus room has two XL twin beds and a queen sofa bed to make a total of 8 able to sleep comfortably. The bonus room has many toys, games, and DVDs for kids to keep them occupied. When coming in from the beach there is a beautiful laundry mud room to store all the messy gear. Located in the garage is lawn furniture to include deck, sand chairs, side tables, and a toy box for outdoor sand toys.
The neighborhood Bayshore Beach Club has a seasonal heated swimming pool available to renters for a small fee.

What a beautiful home with the most beautiful views of the ocean! I found it was even more spacious than it looked in pictures. As others have said, there was not much to want b/c they provided so much. We were there for 5 days with some family and I only wish we had a few more days. It was comfortable, clean & we felt right at home! Host was helpful and easy to work with as well. Would love to rent again if we get back to the Oregon coast!

We’ve been going to Waldport for many years and this is definitely the nicest house we’ve stayed in! Every bedroom (except the bonus room) has an amazing view and the 8 year old in our group absolutely loved the bonus room! The one suggestion we had would be installing blinds or a curtain in the bonus room for those sleeping in there.

This home sits right in the dunes with amazing views of the beach and sunset.
We traveled with our kids and they thoroughly enjoyed the playroom and large toy box of outdoor toys. We spent a lot of time exploring on the beach and saw seals lounging on the sand!
The kitchen is well stocked, beds very comfortable, and home in general is beautiful.

Gorgeous location -- when it was drizzly and cold, we curled up in comfy chairs and a couch and watched the waves, with the gas fireplace on. When it was dry, we walked straight out through the dunes and then down to the beach.
The whole house was super clean and well stocked with kitchenware, games, puzzles, beach chairs, towels, and even a kite. When we had questions, the property manager got back to us promptly.
The only quibble we had was that the bathrooms didn't have window coverings, and the bedroom shades were semi-transparent tightly woven mesh (blocking sun glare, but still allowing shapes to be seen inside if it was dark outside and light inside). It would probably be impossible for someone walking in the dunes to look up and see anything, but we still felt a little uncomfortable. I used the bathtub with a closed shower curtain as a changing room, and that worked fine.
Everything else was outstanding. There were five adults in our party (two couples upstairs and one elder in the downstairs master bedroom). We all loved our stay at this property, and hope to return in the future. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

We stayed here for a long weekend with my parents, daughter and grand kids and it was wonderful. The main level primary suite was great for my aging parents so that they did not have to navigate stairs regularly and the upstairs bedrooms were large and comfortable with a 2nd suite upstairs. The house is well built with a great layout, quiet and has great views from every window. The beach is exceptional and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
We have stayed at several VRBO's and this was one of the best, if not the best, we have rented. The appliances are top of the line and the unit is well appointed with everything you would need including a great selection of toys for kids of all ages. All the place settings match and there seemed to be double what you would have ordinarily expected.
Additionally, Marilyn was very communicative and went out of her way to help us out with some schedule conflicts we had.
I would highly recommend this place even if it costs a little more than others you are comparing. You won't be disappointed.

The house is very well stocked with whatever you might need for a visit to the beach. Open the back door and you’re on the sand. The views of the ocean are lovely, even from the downstairs shower! Comfortable spacious king suites and a children’s room loaded with toys makes it perfect for a family reunion.

Beautiful and well appointed home. Well maintained and stocked with lots of thoughtful extras. We didn’t have any small children staying on our trip but there were lots of toys and games for little ones. There is no air conditioning and the owner has most windows disabled from opening due to how much sand blows in. Understandable, but could be an issue for warmer months. It’s normally pretty cool at the Oregon coast. The downstairs bedroom was a but warm for us, but otherwise wasn’t too much of a problem. The view of the ocean is spectacular! We really enjoyed our stay.

The property itself is exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Views of the bay and/or the ocean from nearly every room of the house. The host had the house stocked with everything we needed and more. We loved being able to watch our youngest play in the sand while the adults lounged in the living room area. Plenty of room for our party of 8 without ever feeling crowded. Hoping we can find time to come back again soon!

The house was as described. Fantastic ocean views, lots or larger windows! Marilyn is a wonderful host with immediate responses to our questions or concerns. When we arrived at the house, I couldn't open the front door key holder for a key with the code. There was not a house key, so all access was through the garage door instead. It was an error on my end that I missed the code provided was for the garage door keypad instead. We did have a slight issue with gnats and heard it was occurring much more locally. The location on the sand dunes was amazing. If you are used to sitting in front of a computer, all day like me you will find you'll get your heart going a little bit as you walk through the dunes to the open beach and ocean to then walk casually either north, south or both multiple times a day. You can see the local fishing boats from the house or head south on the beach to watch them up close every day. They were either crabbing or fishing for salmon. Enjoyed watching the seals feeding daily in the surf as well. We did the touristy things of visiting the Yaquina lighthouses, Seal Rock, various things in Newport as well as going south of Waldport for additional sight-seeing. From Georgies restaurant in Newport we saw several whale spouts out on the ocean during brunch one day. Grand Central Pizza in Waldport had the best gluten free crust - tried the Brunos special. The house is a great centralize location with spacious rooms, comfortable furniture, plenty of dishes, utensils and well stocked kitchen. It was a much-needed relaxing week and would do it again without hesitation!

All in our group were very impressed with the property, even our four-year-old grandson, having the sand just outside the back door got his attention immediately. The view was spectacular. We will rent this property on our next trip to Bayshore.

We had members of the family from Michigan, Florida and Texas get together for this stay and we couldn't have asked for more. The views were astonishing, both inside and out. The beds and furniture were all comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The shower in the master bedroom was to die for. It was open and spacious where we never felt like we were on top of each other. There were some extra beach chairs available and firewood allowing us to have a nice fire on the beach. Neighborhood was super quiet and we totally felt safe all around. Everyone left with smiles on their face and if we are back that we we certainly will stay there again.

Wow! Where does one start? We’ve been to a lot of vacation rentals and this one was stocked way above and beyond any we’ve ever been to. The kids room was one of the biggest highlights for my kids. They wanted to live there! And of course the views out all the windows leaves one speechless! It is truly a magical place to stay. Being able to walk right out the back door onto the sand was amazing! The beach was very empty of people and felt very private. We had fun exploring tide pools and enjoying the vastness of the sand! We would love to come back!

This is a great option for a family (or two). The location is perfect with views to the bay and ocean. You literally step out the back door into the sand. The upstairs family room has a great selection of toys for young kids. The house was very clean and the kitchen is nicely equipped.

The house was very clean and equipped well. We loved having so many bath and bedrooms. The washer and dryer were nice. There were tvs in most rooms but we were having too much fun to turn it on. The kids loved playing on the dunes and we could watch from the house. All 8 of us loved it.
Not used to such a steep driveway. It the garage fit 2 cars easily.

Beautiful, spacious house literally on the beach! The house is clean and fully stocked. Play room is great for the little ones to utilize during down time. Walk right out the back yard and over the dunes to get to the ocean. The bay side is just a short walk and there was almost always a group of seals hanging out to enjoy. The beach is not busy at all. Lots of things to explore!
The only thing of note for future guests is that the house is up a hill and there is a pretty steep driveway. Due to the nature of the house’s location, there was always sand on the driveway. It felt a little tricky driving up to the garage especially when the ground was wet. Enough room to park one car in the garage. If able, I would recommend bringing a four wheel drive vehicle.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, very well stocked with easy access to the beach and very comfortable bedding, all rooms are tastefully decorated. attention to detail is impressive! Mudroom and bench by side door is very functional to keep your spare shoes and other beach things. Our daughter loved the kids room with many toys and books!!! It was a perfect stay, beautiful house, anything you could think of was provided. We had a campfire on the other side of the dunes one evening, played all day on the beach flying kite and building a sand castle, and went for a hike nearby coming back to a relaxing walk along the ocean and quiet and comfortable waves watching on the couch with hot cup of tea. We cooked in the house, all appliances are nice, we even found plastic containers to use for snacks during the hike! If you have children, you can let them play right by the window in the sand while making lunch in the kitchen. The windows facing ocean are everywhere, even in the shower!!! Thank you for the great stay, it was unforgettable!

This gorgeous house is exactly like the pictures. There are so many amenities you almost don't need to bring anything; the kitchen is completely stocked, lots of games and puzzles, many toys for all ages, telescope, binoculars, the list is long!
All the beds were very comfortable, everything was clean. It was wonderful to stay here for our girl's trip.
There were a few things though. There were several inches of packed sand on the front and back porch so we couldn't use it until we cleaned it which required a rake and shovel. The toy room faces east and has nothing over the window so the sun shines in as soon as it's up.
But I would absolutely recommend this house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Waldport house. First of all, the house itself is wonderful. It's very large and spacious - two masters bedrooms with ensuite bath, one on the first floor and one on the second. In addition, there's a queen bed and a kids' room with two twin beds. There's a large comfortable living area and a spacious kitchen. In addition, for any family with kids, there are tons of toys, from games and puzzles to dinosaurs and barbies to sand toys. We had bad luck with weather, so we really appreciated all the toys to keep our kids busy while it rained outside.
The house location is great as well. The house is right on the sand, and we enjoyed letting our 2-year-old and her sisters play on the sand right outside the door while we sat watching her in the living room. The ocean is clearly visible and a short walk away with the bay on the other side of the house. While I wouldn't want to *live* somewhere with that much sand, it was great for vacation.
The house was perfectly clean and maintenance issues were minor. The only thing is that the grill was not really safely useable.
The house is exposed, so we were battered by a storm our first night. The noise of the wind made it difficult to sleep. This is life on the coast, but keep it in mind if coming in the off season.

We loved our stay at this home! It had a fully stocked kitchen, high chair, traveling crib, so many toys for our young children and incredible views. It was also extremely clean. We are excited to come stay again! Highly recommend!

When we arrived to the house it was a bit dark and stormy out, but we quickly realized how comfortable and entertaining the house itself was. Our kids were in heaven with access to infinite toys, movies, games, you name it. The house was extremely clean, not a grain of sand on the floor which I thought was amazing considering we were literally sitting on the beach! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. We played a two day long game of monopoly and when the storm cleared we enjoyed the most gorgeous day on the beach. We had an amazing time with our children at this location and would love to make more memories here in the future.
