When you think of "Beach House", this is exactly what fits the bill--a generously sized house steps away from your own beach. Every morning, family members could wander to the beach and remain visible to those relaxing at the house--no need to coordinate travel or schedules.
The house is two floors and is really three potentially separate apartments. The top floor has two bedrooms (each with well-functioning air conditioning), a huge kitchen / dining / lounging area and outdor open-air patio with seating for four plus a hammock.
Downstairs have two one-bedroom apartments (each with own air-conditioning and bathroom) and a kitchen in each. One has a functioning and fun air-hockey table. Each has it's own small outdoor patio, and shares a huge beach-front deck that overlooks the ocean. Working outdoor shower for coming home from the beach. Back gate leads to the beach and back yard is otherwise fenced in.
Parking for two cars on second level. Short 15 mins to middle of town.
We went to the grocery and stocked up and lounged our way through four days as a Christmas Family Vacation for three generations.
Would leap at the chance to go back again!
And the host was tremendously helpful with ideas and follow-through.

My suggestion was Locks on the door's were an issue. Suggestion: change to deadbolt because that way if anyone that wants to stay doesn't have to be waiting on others that choose to stay late. Also no light bulb going downstairs. Called and no one called back. I actually had my family member fall, thank God we stopped her fall. Using our phone flashlight wasn't enough. Also when i asked where was the washer. They said it wasn't working. They also need to fix the locks into the bedroom door my sister locked herself in and was very anxious. I would say that the owner might go thru his property and update these issues. We're coming back next year but we'll rent out another arnb. Very disappointed.

We stayed at the "Yellow House" during our 7 day and night stay on Vieques. 12 adults and 2 babies - this home was perfect! Very clean, A/C in bedrooms worked great, and the crosswinds in the living area upstairs was just wonderful. There were outdoor games in the backyard and we were visited a couple times by wild horses (outside the gate). The beach is perfect for swimming and a little snorkeling. The property manager was very responsive - thank you! We will definitely stay here again with a large group!

Berto took care of all our needs from arrival to departure. We were left wanting for nothing. The house was perfect for our two families of four. The adults stayed upstairs and the teens had their own space downstairs. They loved having the freedom to stay up late without disturbing us! The towels and bedding were very soft and clean. A favorite for us was waking up, drinking coffee and gazing upon the palm tree dotted beach. Once again, Vieques did not disappoint!

A group of 7 women came down for a bachelorette party in early November. The property was so nice! It has 3 total apartments which allowed for privacy, additional showers/toilets, etc. We used the main level mostly because the deck had a beautiful view of the ocean. The bedrooms were incredible; AC, large beds and easy to sleep in.
The access to the beach was nice and there was an outdoor shower that was used more than the indoor ones! What a lovely experience and Berto was just so kind and responsive. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay and the house immensely. The view was stunning. It was wonderful having the beach right out the back door. Roberto was a dream! He was very helpful with transportation. He also left a pail of mangoes for us to feed the horses with. I can't wait to come back.

Berto the prop mgr was by far the highlight. I would not consider the home to be good value for money. The three apartments are not connected so not ideal for a family with kids. Perhaps one could justify the price if splitting it 3 ways. The beach view is nice but swimming is a tough putt given how rocky it is. Kitchen amenities need to be replaced; small dollars for the owner to do that and would create a much better impression. It is spartan at best. Similar for some of the appliances. Limited clothes storage. Better door locks needed. I would not consider using the BBQ provided. With a small investment in the furnishings, amenities and aesthetic of the property it would make a much better impression and experience. It did not meet our expectations. Location is 2km outside of town just an FYI. We have used VRBO regularly and this was a disappointment that it fell short. Berto was very accommodating and helpful and we appreciated his attention to service. These were not issues he could address.

Home fit 13 perfectly! Beach was amazing, we had our own little lazy river so our kids would use their tubes and float down. The wild horses came to visit a few times during this trip. Center of town was not too far. Property manager- Berto, assisted in obtaining a last minute vehicle for one of our party. Do not wait last minute to rent your vehicle! Ferry to and from, also do not wait to buy your tickets! But the home itself was wonderful and suited the 13 of us perfectly!

Can't beat the location and the flexibility the lovely yellow beachfront house provides. We were two families with kids aged 11 to 17 and enjoyed the privacy and together spaces the property provides. Highly recommended.

Our group of 11 enjoyed our stay in the house. As per many island houses, there were a few "friends" who visited us during our stay in the house. Some more welcome than others.... The view and location can't be beat. When we come back to Vieques we will definitely consider renting here again.

The host was very quick to respond and very helpful. He was even able to get us a car when every rental dealer was out of vehicles of all types. The reason we did not give this property a five star rating was because there is no hot water at the house and the furnishings need updating.
