The house itself was in need of repairs. The yard was unkept and the owner lives on the property in the guest house.
The picture if the house that is being advertised is NOT the actual house. All of the other pictures of the house are as advertised. Not sure why they did not put the correct picture of the house on the website. There were several carpet stains and there is a water leak somewhere because water was running out of the garage. We could not find the source. We tried to turn on the fan outside and it blew a fuse that turned off all of the lights in the bathroom downstairs. That was reported to the owner but not resolved before we left. It’s a beautiful house that needs to be kept better. I don’t feel like I got what I paid for. I will not book this house again.

The house it’s ok, but the cleaning was in no good standards wen we arrive the air conditioner was not working properly, the utensils on that house were half broken, the beds were uncomfortable no gas tanks for bbq showers heads were lose he the host controls the A C units true the WiFi and he has cámaras pointing directly to the swimming pool he’s watching everyone the is in there, and I have to rent an portable AC unit just be ok inside of that house, I’ll never taken my family again to this property, and on top of everything he offers a different kind of house because the one is on the list has problems, nope never again very bad experience,

Our group loved this house! Darel was a wonderful host and very attentive! He also made it super easy for us to check in earlier since we arrived earlier than expected into town, and accommodated us in a bigger home for our large party. It was so easy to communicate with him at all times as well.
The home is spacious and very comfy for large groups. The house is bigger than in pictures and gorgeous! The views to the backyard from the second story were fantastic and we loved the pool area! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again next year! Thank you Darel for your great hospitality!

We booked for the property in the pictures and paid for the 4 nights stay. The day before we arrived the host called and said the property we booked wasn’t usable at the time and asked if we would like to upgrade to a different property. Given the short notice, we agreed to the upgrade. The upgraded property is not comparable to the one we paid, but it has enough room for all of us in our party. The check-in process was easy and the directions to the house were easy. The property has a few carpet stains but overall, it’s ok. The second night we were there, my friend got bitten by a scorpion twice. We caught it the second time and that thing was huge. Be careful if you book this property.

Extremely disapointed. We booked & fully paid in Feb. Had sent question after & host never replied after payment. We tried contacting host 3day before, no news, call host 1 day before no news. Called VRBO & was cut after 25 min. Called back VERBO & was told host was to call us in PM(3/4 hours of our vacation time lost for this, unaceptable) Host call less than 24hrs before ariving saying issue with 1st house & need to up-grade us & sent pictures new house. At arrival, house for house we had a downgrade, pictures sent were false, ext. garden ferniture scrap, all beds uncomfotable & like hamacks, BBQ extremely dirty empty tank beside & ran out of gas 20 min cooking, pool needs love, no street lights pitch dark at night, dog barking next door early & late every day. We went by the initial house we had first rented & their was a car in the parking? Host had double booked our first house. We were imposed the replacement house. It was our first booking with VERBO & this host. Never again with this host & he doesn’t make VERBO look good at all. We don’t recommend this host to no one, not reliable and not a good vacation experience. VERBO indicates that we should receive door codes & info 3 days before arrival, we got these less than 24hrs before arriving. Stresfull! for vacation. VERBO shouldn’t keep this host to avoid other client disapointment. We took pictures on place & can also send pictures sent by host for you to compare if requested, also picture of car at 1st house.

At first we had issues getting ahold of the property owner. We learned he was out of the country. Upon his return, communication was great! His original property wasn’t available, so he upgraded us to another property with the same amenities. Kids had a blast (and so did the adults!). Would stay here again on our next trip to Vegas for sure.

Darel was an excellent host. I contacted him to set up a place to drop off our suitcases early and he had us upgraded to a beautiful home and alleys to check in early. We had a few urgent questions and he was extremely prompt, friendly, and helpful. Thank you Darel.

Prior to our arrival I reached out to Darrel to ensure that there were no changes or issues with the property because I had read previous reviews and was concerned. That’s when I was advised that due to local HOA restrictions and the size of our family we needed to be moved to a larger location. I was sent pictures and the address and just as promised the new location was closer to the strip, had a larger pool, more rooms just overall more accommodating. We didn’t encounter any problems or issues that made us uncomfortable. The A/C worked surprisingly well. Our stay was during the hottest time record high of 120 degrees. Darel checked in on us via iMessage often to ensure our stay was going well. All that being said we rate this trip 10/10!!!!

We ended up needing to be upgraded. The home had all the same amenities and was absolutely gorgeous. We loved the home and outside pool area. My kids really enjoyed swimming whenever we were at the house. We will definitely be staying again. Darel was really awesome and quick to respond as well.

Big and spacious very comfortable loved the hug back yard and games for the kids and the adults the host was very nice and was great At accommodating us on such short notice and great location on 15 minutes from the strip. This was a great experience. The day before the arrival I received a call and based on the number of people in my party I was asked if I wanted a larger home with the same amenities. This was such a blessing. The upgrade was very nice, spacious, amazing backyard, and even more space for the team. Darel communicated with us throughout the stay and was extremely timely with any needs that we had. He made this experience great and I will be coming back in the future for our trips!

The house we were switched to is a perfect locations. East access to everything. The pool, billiard tables, poker table and mini soccer field was so much fun. So much room to just be with family.

The owner called a day before our scheduled arrival and changed the location of the house, when we had family coming in from 3 different states. Once we arrived at the house it was not like the pictures that he sent us. The furniture was run down and weathered. The carpet had spots all over it. The doors looked like they were kicked in. There was someone living in the poolhouse out back of the house. The fridge didn't work and we had to throw out some of the food we brought with us. The day after we arrived the plumbing backed up into the lower shower. The owner did show up immediately to fix the problem. The sliding shower door only had one door while the other door seem to be missing. The only thing that made this a good time was spending time with the family. We don't think we will use or refer VRBO in the future.

Although we didn't stay in the house that we paid for because of covid issues this was a good alternative. We were told that this was a bigger place which was fine. This place was in need of some repairs but overall the location was great! Just minutes away from the Outlet stores and the Strip and food stores and fast food places. We all had a good time. Darel called 24 hours before the reservation was to start to let us know he was switching us to another house, as has happened to many other guests. When I raised concerns, he refused to answer my questions and threatened (repeatedly) to cancel the reservation (again, within 24 hours of my arrival, on a holiday weekend).
As he said, the house had similar amenities to the one that was listed, though, as many here have noted, it had many shabby features (broken shades and door frames, old carpet) and smelled pretty terrible upstairs.
I’m not sure why Darel persists in listing a house that is not for rent and then switches people at the last minute with some cooked-up story, but it’s extremely sketchy and it made us extremely uncomfortable all weekend to be hosted by someone we couldn’t trust.

Unfortunately something happened and we were not able to stay in the house we booked. We were given another property that had all the same amenities and was even closer to where we wanted to be. Owner was very accommodating and we had a wonderful time.

I do want to start off by saying the house was a very nice house, very spacious and the backyard was very nice as well. However the house smelled so bad of cigarettes to the point it was burning our eyes. We also got moved to another house because of "HOA fees" I'm starting to think its a scam so he can monitor everyone as he lives on the property. There are also cameras in the backyard. When we arrived we were short on toilet paper, I believe only 2 restrooms had some and there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms. We had to go out and buy some. Daryl was also VERY hard to get a hold of. I would have to call multiple of times and text before he would respond. We never got the jacuzzi to get hot. He did come by one day to show us how after 2 days of trying to do it ourselves, however even after he showed us it still didn't work. The AC works good upstairs but not downstairs, the downstairs bathroom did not get cool. Also the beds were not comfortable. Overall I feel like we could've had a much better experience if host was better.

I had not 1 problem. This Handsome and Wonderful Mr. Darell (the Owner) was Just a Great Host. We even wanted to invite him over for Breakfast!! If he was Available. He invested in our Luxury and a perfect Vacation. He Welcomed, and toasted us to a great Vacation. Ty soooo much.
I would recommend you Come and Enjoy... There wasn't anything missing or Anything we needed extra. Extra Space, Amenities, It was just perfect for my Whole family. We stayed a Week. No complications. The pool and grill was Amazing. We learned how to play Soccer, We never wanted to leave the House. We had plenty Parking. Noone bothered us... Did I say ROOOOM. IT WAS SO MUCH SPACE. THE GAME ROOM, THE LOUNGE. OMG AMAZING... HOME AWAY GROM HOME...

Like many vacationers before, we were moved to another house instead of the one pictured here. So this will be a review of the ALTERNATE LOCATION that you may end up at if you book this house. First things first, the alternate location is comparable to the house pictured here. (And is not necessarily an upgrade.)
House description:
-4 beds (+1 futon +2 mobile singles)
-3 and a half baths
-Larger pool (has upper hot tub but the hot tub was off)
-Outdoor kitchen (grill, sink, and refrigerator)
-2 decks
-2 car garage
-3.5 miles from the strip (closer than the other)
-Pool table
-8 seat poker table (didn't notice any chips or cards provided)
-Blackjack/Craps/Roulette table
-6 seat dining table
-WiFi
-6 smart TVs
-Nice kitchen (basic cookware and supplies)
-Small putting green
-Medum sized turf backyard
-AC worked but circulation through all the rooms was not optimal
We were alerted to the change in venue about 24 hours in advance. The reason given was that the house pictured here was inside an HOA that wasn't allowing out of state vacation renting due to covid. Reading through the sixty some reviews before this one, there appear to be many different reasons why people are moved to this alternative location so even if you are reading this after covid restrictions are gone you are still under some likelihood to be moved. I'm not sure if he is accommodating you or you are accommodating him.
For our group the alternate house was fine. It appeared that the owner was living in a separate house on the same property. There was also a camera pointing from the other house to the back of the house and backyard, assuming for security purposes. So might not be the best if you are looking for the ultimate private getaway. We also noticed that there were some cigarette butts on the outside patio and some smoke smell in a few mattresses.
With all this said, our group had a truly fantastic time! The beds were very comfortable and it was a nice surprise that pool toys and floaties were included. Cheers!

We couldn't do anything fun, no body could come see us at the house or pick up food. The guy was checking how many people was coming in and out of the house and if it was one over the amount that needs to be at the house u will here a Knock at your door. My whole trip was a stress from this guy.

The property manager was great- very responsive. We were unexpectedly upgraded due to an issue with the property we had booked and the property was very nice. However, there were issues with broken glass - the exterior only. Inside was very clean. A few burnt out lightbulbs and we couldn’t figure out the shower, but the owner came over eight away and showed us how to make it work properly (duh!). A few other issues which we didn’t mention until we were leaving & he promised to take care of promptly before renting again. Overall, we were pleased. Darrell was very nice and easy to work with.

Overall a great stay. There was an issue with COVID-19 and this location, but Darel was quick and set us up at his other rental property. The house was great. It was close to the strip, near multiple food locations and comfortable all around. I stayed with family members (ages 6-55) for 5 days. We all had a great time!

We booked this property and at the last minute Darel moved us to his other property due to some issues. I had no problem and the new location was conveniently located to everything.
The property was beautiful and spacious enough for my group of 10 family/friends. It had all amenities we wished for and even had a great entertainment backyard. Checking in was a breeze and Darel was very responsive and helpful. I would 100% recommend Darel and his home.

There was a last minute issue with this house from the previous guests, but Darel was able to accommodate us at his other property which has the same amenities if not better. Since he wasn't expecting to have us in the house we ended up in there were a few minor issues with the AC and refrigerator but he was very responsive and got everything fixed for us very quickly so we could focus on our wedding!

Owner claims double booked and moved to prime property. Does listed property exist because most reviews say double booked and had to go to different property. The property was ok but could not use grill due to mouse droppings. Owner was friendly and accommodated us by cleaning the pool as it was very dirty on arrival.

We actually stayed at another home owned by Darel. It better suited our needs and accommodated Darel’s situation as well. Excellent easy access to airport as well as all major attractions.
We were there for almost a month and minor issues were addressed timely and certainly to our satisfaction. We will certainly look to return to a property owned by Mr. Russell if we have an extended stay in Las Vegas in our future. Having a most favorable experience this trip makes that more likely.
