Overall it was quite nice. Only 2 negatives about the cabin. 1)It was really dusty, especially in the bedroom area. 2)The mattress needs to be replaced. It's like sleeping in a bowl. Start on the side and end up in the middle. The hot tub and screened in porch are really nice.

It was a cute place with lots of amenities for our short stay. Yes, I would stay here again!!!!

Fantastic destination and lodging, Lake Lure and the surrounding area is heaven on earth! We ventured out as far as Maggie Valley and never ran out of fun times!
An act of God occurred with the municipal water supply (multiple water main breaks off property, duration approximately 1 day) and the host ensured our well being and comfort during the outage by checking on us and bringing us water as needed. Great, friendly hosts who truly go above and beyond!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND ☆☆☆☆☆

Cabin was very nice. Only thing I would suggest is to get a new mattress.

Clean and cozy cabin with everything you need. Very quiet. Great location. Hot tub, fireplace, and screen porch were all added benefits. Available kayak and canoe were great, too. Walk or cycle to town. Private and lovely property. A+

The house is very cute and was just the right size for a couple. The proximity to town is great. The only issue was the house was very dusty and needs a good overall cleaning. Other than that it was a great stay.

We absolutely loved the cabin stay, it was very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was very clean and cozy/quaint. We had everything we needed during our stay. The hot tub was amazing and the queen size bed was comfortable. My favorite memory is hearing the church bells. 🎵 That was so delightful.

We had a great time even though we had that artic blast of cold come through. The fireplace was wonderful and we got the rest we needed! Hot water wasn't that great but overall it was so nice. We will come back.

This was our second year we stayed at Pine Gables…probably the only place that we will ever stay. Great location and the most comfy cabins ever!

My husband and I wanted to stay here because it was close to the Rainbow Bridge. We took our three dogs there to leave collars of the ones who have passed on.
It was a great weekend. Thank you❣️

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this location. Very easy access to the town, remote and quiet. Loved the porch. One recommendation: Put a curtain at the toilet door!

Not one bad thing to say! We had a wonderful time and can not wait to come back!

This cabin was in a great location. Close to everything in town and very close to the lake. Cabin was perfect for two people and we had a great time. Would love to go back.

The cabin was great. Very cozy and just what we were hoping for. The porch was relaxing, and nothing could beat the hot tub after a day of hiking. The location was super convenient, and the property was beautiful and peaceful. I loved being able to bring my dog with us and that the cabin and property were pet friendly. My one and only negative was that the bed was much too firm for our comfort, but others may prefer it that way.

I would like to start off by saying that the place is nice and as described. Upon arrival we found that it was cold inside (it was the first part of January). The heat source worked ok but we had to buy a space heater for the bedroom. The place was very dusty, cobwebs everywhere shower curtain is moldy and the rest of the cabin was not the cleanest. The coffee pot did not work. We really enjoyed the quiet place and the hot tub.

My spouse and I stayed for 3 nights to enjoy a quiet weekend away. The cabin was perfect for 2 and had all of the things we needed - hot tub, grill, television/internet, and household items for cooking and feeling at home. the Ingles was only 10 minutes away if we needed anything,. Even though we were visiting in the offseason, there were many things still open when we wanted to go out to eat. The fact that they were dog friendly was a huge plus. We'll definitely be staying again!

We have rented many cabins in the Lake Lure area. This cabin was our favorite so far. Perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean. Had a comfy couch and bed. The hot tub was fabulous. It's close to town but far away enough to only hear the sounds of nature. We definitely want to come back and bring our dog next time!

Absolutely perfect for us.

After reading your instructions for the hot tub my wife and I would not set foot in that potential cess pool. You can give all the instructions you want but it only takes 1 person to swim in the lake/river and then jump in the hot tub without showering to infect antone else for weeks after that. If you are going to advertise the tub as a feature, you should have it cleaned and sanitized in between each rental. As far as the other amenities, I don't see how you can say that there is a scenic view of the river when there is so underbrush that you can't see 20 feet past the outside the cabin. You might want to mention that there is no private door to the shower toilet room. Made my wife and other female guests very uncomfortable when they needed to announce they were closing 2 pocket doors just to get a little privacy. "Romantic Cabin at Beautiful Lake Lure!" as your web page states is far from accurate. I would not have paid more than 75.00 per night had we known what we were really getting.

We loved this property. It's a private area. Loved the screened in porch with rocking chairs. The hot tub was nice also. The ponds and lake are just a short walk from the cabin. It's located near restaurants, shops and activities.

Fun, relaxing, close to everything, and the dogs loved it too!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We would definitely consider staying at the same cabin when we return someday. The owners did a good job with their attention to details to make the stay comfortable. The screened porch, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom set up was very nice. Very private and peaceful, shaded environment. Nice gas grill. Clean furniture and overall cleanliness good. The very short walk down to the lake offered a real nice place to sit on the dock on the lake in the late afternoon. The cabins were very conveniently located to Chimney Rock, Lake Lure town center, a mountain walking trail and the Flowering Bridge. If we had any suggestion to make it would be something very minor indeed; the sauce pans and coffee maker are worn out and need to be replaced; but that was minor; all other kitchen items/appliances very good! Thanks for a nice stay.

This was a wonderful stay for us. The peace and quiet along with all the outdoor space was exactly what we wanted. Great if you have a dog traveling with you. Views of Chimney Rock from the dock. We enjoyed the rocking chairs and hot tub on the screened in porch! Definitely coming back! Thanks you!

The trip was great and very relaxing. The cabin is located in a private setting but also close to town. Cell phone service isn't the best and no delivery available so don't let that surprise you. The boat dock was great,a nice place to just enjoy the scenery. A few canoes are available to use as well. The hot tub is awesome. The inside of the cabin was clean but could use some dusting, and the pots and pans could be replaced but it is a quaint place to stay overall.

Had a great time love the rest and the hot tub.had a great time taking a walk to the lake with my wife should have brought my fishing rod. Close to every thing wish we could have stayed longer. Will come back again but without the storm's. Next time.
