Tiny ant issue but found sprays under sink - so not new.
Toaster oven door falling apart. Kitchen can use update.
Bottom drawer handle by sink broken - not by us. Perfect location!
Confusion with bed sizes - found another sleeper in living room.

This is our second time to this house and we all feel like the house is such a relaxing and comfortable layout. It feels cozy and yet has plenty of space and beautiful views. We spent so much time on the big, super-comfy couch on the deck. And the large sectional sofa in the living room was also a great spot to hangout and enjoy the gorgeous view. The smaller downstairs living room and lower deck were cozy alternates for anyone who needed a quiet spot to read away from the chatting/cooking/games upstairs.
The house was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped, but it definitely does show some wear and tear. In some ways, that makes it feel more comfortable having our dog and little kids there, but there were some things- appliances, etc- that just really needed attention/repair.

House/location perfect! Owner very responsive to all issues. Would most definitely return!

First, would definitely go back again! 1000%!
Here are some thoughts:
Pros:
-Beautiful view of the ocean right from the patio!
-Patio has a large table and outdoor sofa that is extremely comfy and a perfect place to gather
-Weber grill with all the tools for amazing outdoor grilling
-Very short walk from the downstairs balcony to the beach!
-Three nice bedrooms for adults and one bunk bed room for kids (we had adults stay there and they also were happy in that room)
-All the appliances you would need , including vacuum, Keurig, washer, dryer, etc.
-Beautiful rooms and environment
-Quick responses from property manager who answered all questions promptly
-Easy check in and check out with full instructions.
Cons: None that were really a deal breaker and I loved the place and would rent from there again! A/C in the upper front room struggles a little to cool a room filled with sun and windows, but the rest of the house is beautifully cool! If you open the sliding glass doors upstairs, the sea breeze usually keeps that front room cool enough.
Some things to consider:
-Remember to bring towels and sheets. The cost to rent them is high and you might be able to buy them for a lot cheaper. We rented and it was super easy!
-Beach chairs and umbrella need to be bought or rented. We used a place called Luggers who set up (and took down) our stuff every day and gave us the weather and tide report. I LOVED that.
- Go to the property before you go shopping. Sometimes the folks renting before you may have left some things such as salt and pepper or dish and laundry detergent that you then don't need to buy.
-Bring in the cushions from the deck at night because they get full of condensation overnight and are VERY wet in the morning (and it may rain overnight).
All in all, an amazing location, and great house that made our vacation a great one!

We had a wonderful stay with easy checkin, great communication and the house could not have been better situated. It overlooked the ocean and had the most stunning sunrises. The house had great amenities. We wish we could have stayed another week! Thank you!

Have stayed on LBI numerous times, wanted to have ocean front this time. Location in Harvey Cedars is great, view is fantastic, ocean and beach access perfect. Even in the off season of November, the house wasn't cheap, so we expected better than the things I'll mention. Three toilets, total of one roll of paper, it's not that expensive; kitchen fairly well stocked, but no paper towels for cleaning and no paper napkins, more cheap items; empty soap dispenser on the kitchen sink, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, under the sink where cleaning supplies should be is a total disaster - WHO is the cleaning service?; two lamps with missing lightbulbs; none of the clocks on the main floor working or set - trivial item, but why not seen by cleaners or owner; in the first floor bath, three mismatched globe bulbs in the fixture, one burnt out; fan in that bathroom not operational; dripping faucet in master bath; the igniter on the grill doesn't work as it should, get a big "whomp" when the other burners ignite the gas. If one or two of these items had been observed, no big deal. But, considering the high off season daily rate, plus taxes and fees, one week minimum, better was expected.

The layout of the house worked so well for us. Living, dining room and kitchen facing a great view, opening to the deck with a dining table and a super comfy large sectional sofa, meant that we just spent the whole week moving around those spaces, depending on the temperature and our moods, enjoying the view and each others' company. (We didn't use the downstairs deck but would have, if it had been hotter and we needed shade.) The location is perfect for great views of the beach, and the house is right next to the walkway to the beach, so thats super easy. The only downside to the location is that it's not great for neighborhood walking, as the private lane just goes out to the main boulevard, which is busy and loud. We found close spots for conveniences, (quick grocery pick ups, etc) and that was great, but it didn't feel enjoyable to walk to them.

Lovely experience. Great property with decks facing the ocean.

We loved our week in this house- my favorite part of the house is the deck overlooking the ocean. Having 2 living rooms was key / the teens used the downstairs while we were almost always upstairs. The owner is very responsive!

The home is lovely and has great views of the ocean, plus is literally steps to the beach, which was practically empty since it was early fall. We had plenty of space for our family, from teens to grandparents, and it was great to be able to bring the dogs as well. The owner was very responsive and check-in was easy. We considered staying another week because it was so relaxing!

With a full family covering all ages, the ability to just walk on and off the beach was invaluable. The house was great and they allowed dogs!

We just loves the location of the house. Beautiful views and access to a clean and quiet beach . Owner was great with communication. Planning on coming back next year!

To start John’s house Is beautiful and the views of the ocean in the morning are so calming. We spotted multiple pods of dolphins multiple mornings from the deck, just spectacular. If you are looking for a quiet area to be on beach or in a home playing games, talking and bonding with your family this is it! We have not returned home yet and want to go back for another stay.
