Very enjoyable stay! Carma did a great job stocking our fridge and kitchen to get us started! Very private and Carma was very accommodating! We would definitely recommend a stay if you are in the area!

Beautiful, clean, location for a peaceful get-away with my daughter. Thank you Carma for the delicious cinnamon rolls and smoked salmon!

I was lucky to find this place and Carma was nice enough to stay open later into the season than usual. The apartment is so well thought out and makes brilliant use of the space. I was extremely comfortable and my work trip to Kenai would not have been the same staying anyplace else. Great views and a wonderful host and I recommend to anyone visiting Kenai. Perfectly located less than 10 minutes to downtown. An easy 90 minute drive to Homer to the South and Cooper Landing to the East as the roads were still clear.

Carma is delightful. She allowed us to arrive early and welcomed us warmly. The unit was clean, comfortable and has a great view of Mount Redoubt. Each day Carma would leave us a new treat - smoked salmon, fresh peaches, wild blueberries and waffles. Always a nice surprise. She helped us with directions and suggestions for activities in the area. Carma advised they would soon be offering Wi-Fi and TV connection which would earn this property a 5 star rating.

We stayed at this cute little place in Kenai, Alaska on our 20th Anniversary. The owners were awesome! They helped us find things to do and really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable in their place.
The homemade Alaskan Rhubarb Coffee Cake on the table to greet us was amazing! They even invited us to grill with them on their awesome patio that looks out to the Cook Inlet, however we got back from seeing all the sights in town too late and didn't make it that night. It was always nice to come back to a clean and comfortable place after a long day of adventures!
There are so many things to do and see within an hour of this place in any direction! We enjoyed fishing for sockeye salmon on the Kenai River, hiking in the mountains above Cooper Landing, sight seeing at Skilak Lake, and a float plane trip to fish and bear watch out of Soldotna! I only wish we would have had another week!
If you are looking for a cute B&B in Kenai you should consider this place. We were definitely not disappointed!

My wife and I found the property nicely arranged and the special treats that Carma Shay delivered each day were a very pleasant and welcome surprise. The apartment was comfortable and the views were a welcome sight at sunrise and sunset. Access to the Kenai, Soldotna, and surrounding area's was very easy. Perhaps the nicest thing was coming "home" to the peace and quiet of the Ocean View Inn property. Dylan's smoked salmon was superb and abou the family dog reminded us of our family dog at home. We would definitely consider staying there again.

We had the most superb time on the Kenai! We had so much fun staying at Carma's Ocean View Inn B and B. The view of the mountains through the window was simply gorgeous. We gathered with some family members to do some Sightseeing and Dipnetting. Carma assisted with suggestions of places to visit in the surrounding area. She also showed us where to access the beach. We also used her grill to cook our catch of the day. What a fine service, lawn and with a view to boot! And did I mention location? Second to none. Less then 3 minutes to the beach and minutes away from stores and local entertainment. Her establishment is centrally located for day trips to outlying areas such as Clam Gulch and Homer. Just ask Carma what's happening in the area and go have fun! Carma seems to have a knack in finding our needs, whether it be breakfast choices, providing us with such soft towels, directions, personal needs. Second to none, hats off to Carma and her family. I will be coming back!

Staying at the Ocean View Inn was a delight and will recommend to my friends and family. It was clean, perfectly located, and only Minutes to the beach for dipnetting. What a delight. And the breakfasts were Fabulous!!! Carma and Dylan were wonderful in answering questions on the area and worked with my crazy schedule. Without a doubt, I will come again.
