Everything was amazing
Great house Great location Great Staff

We just came home from our stay at Casa de Dos Vistas ... a family traveling with 3 teen boys. Everything was amazing. The casa/house is beautiful and the support ahead of time lining up excursions and also while on property with dining suggestions, taxi arrangments, so excellent and helpful. The cleaning team also very friendly and great. Trips to the mangrove forest, waterfalls, Manuel Antonio park, and beach were enjoyed by all. The house is on a steep hill and walking to restaurants, shops, and beach is doable, but definitely challenging. But that's why the views from the house are so great! The monkeys that visited the house and played in the nearby trees and pool deck were entertaining -- but definitely follow reminders to keep doors shut. We did and had no issues. Also, enjoyed seeing different birds around the house. All in all -- a great stay! Highly recommend.

We had such a fabulous time. If you want to have the jungle at your doorstep, this is the place. Toucans, howler monkeys, capuchins (the mafia, they are crazy!!), Scarlett macaws, sloths, lizards. We saw them all from the poolside.
Beds were comfortable, big rooms, nice shady poolside. David was amazing. Super attentive. We had 2 catered meals that were fabulous.
A few noteworthy things.
The beach is walkable, but the walk back is quite uphill. Arrange a car or take the bus back. We tried to walk and it was rough!
The burgers at the bistro next door are amazing! A must try!
Lots of stairs so can be tricky if someone has mobility issues.
You see just as much wildlife at the villa as you do at Manuel Antonio park, but the beach is gorgeous.
Keep an eye on those capuchins. Same time every day they would try to get into the kitchen. They also pulled down the outdoor tv while we were on a tour. They’re bananas!
Thanks so much for your patience with our family!
Pura Vida!!!

My, husband and I, our three teens and my mother-in-law spent the week leading up to Christmas at Casa Dos Vistas. The home truly lived up to the photos and description. We had tons of space for everyone and we all loved hanging out in the open air living area next to the pool and opening up the kitchen to the warm breezes. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was and the lack of mosquitos. We got to see more wildlife here than anywhere else we went! Capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, toucans and scarlet macaws were the highlights. Gary and our host, David, made sure everything ran smoothly with check-in and setting up fantastic activities, as well as answering questions. We only wish we took a little more time to enjoy the house! The included daily housekeeping was wonderful! The home is in a very convenient location. We were able to walk to a good number of great restaurants (the hills were a great work-out). The only negative I can point out is it’s not a quiet area. But it did not detract from our enjoyment. Also, bring earplugs if you need quiet at night. The howler monkeys like to make a lot of racket around 3:30-5:00 in the morning. We would definitely stay here again!

David met us to give us a tour & was available anytime on for questions & recommendations. The house was located in such a way you can see & hear the ocean on both sides! Gorgeous wood stairs, unique decor & bathrooms to die for (esp if you're a content creator)! The pool was the perfect temp & had amazing views. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. We loved how the windows opened up to make indoor living become outdoor living. Even in a rainstorm, we were able to sit in the kitchen looking over the pool deck and watch it coming down with a breeze and fresh rain smell. Capuchin monkeys visited daily & were a highlight of the trip! They came right into the pool to cool down and searched the chair cushions lol! David was right with his warnings to keep the windows in the kitchen closed while away or the monkeys will come in and eat your food. One came into the kitchen while we were there and broke our eggs lol! We also saw (and heard--they are loud!) Howler Monkeys & several kinds of parrots. The house is close to lots of restaurants, grocery stores and adventure tourism. We didnt make it to the beach, unfortunately, but its within walking distance. We felt totally safe at the house.
Things to note- there is construction across the street & the guys were drilling, sawing and pounding from 8am to past 8pm. There's also traffic noise and gardeners leafblowing at 7am so its not a quiet, secluded place. There are also tons of tiny ants that get into your food in the kitchen.

We loved the house! So much space-2 adults, 2 teens and a tween all enjoyed. Pool was perfect and wildlife fun to watch.

The property was amazing. Everyone had their own sweet, potatoes bathroom. The housekeeper Kimberly was fantastic!! We had a lovely chef on hand who cooked three meals for us. She, also Kimberly, was amazing as well. The wildlife we got to view from our porch was stunning. The only downside was just traffic outside the door. But that makes it easy to get to!

We loved this property, and having a concierge to schedule activities took the property to another level! The house is beautiful and well-maintained; all bedrooms have a private balcony with scenic views and a sizeable bathroom. No one will be complaining about which bedroom they have during their stay. What took this property to another level was the concierge service. We booked all activities through Gary before we arrived in Costa Rica, including a shuttle to & from the airport, a villa chef, and daily activities. We had no scheduling conflict, and everyone we met could not have been kinder. A bonus for us was seeing many rainforest animals off the main balcony; we saw white face monkeys, parrots, toucans, and other exotic birds and heard howler monkeys at night. We enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this house while in Manuel Antonio, CR!

If it was possible to award 10 out of 5 stars, we would. La Casa Dos Vistas exceeded our expectation. The property and staff were even better than the listing suggested.
We traveled as a group of four 30-something couples, and the villa was perfect for a group of that size. All four bedrooms were large with beautiful bathroom spaces and nice bathtubs. All but one had king size beds. The top floor bedroom, which had a queen bed, was as nice if not nicer than the master bedroom because it has balconies on both sides (hence, “Dos Vistas”), and an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand from the beaches.
Gary, the concierge, was incredible, arranging excursions for us nearly every day. Both private chefs contracted through the vista made us delicious meals. The tour quality and staff were all excellent, including the transportation and meals!
Several great beaches are within 5 minutes of the villa. One was nicer for snorkeling and the other better for waves and jogging.
Truly, this was paradise. I’m a little reluctant to post such a glowing review because we hope it will be available for future trips!

We stayed at Casa Dos Vistas for a week. We had two families comprising of seven adults (18+) and one 13 year old daughter. We loved our trip. The staff (Kimberly and her team) and concierge (Gary) took amazing care to ensure we had a great time. The home was very clean and perfect for a family/big group getaway. Gary was very responsive and set up great day tours for us (white water rafting, national park, ATV/Zip Lining, and kayaking mangroves). Each of the tour guides and companies were very good. Definitely recommend a guide at the national park as you’ll miss everything if you don’t. They just know where to find the animals! Kimberly in housekeeping, also does a really great job and the entire housekeeping crew was very nice and worked very hard. We also got chefs for two of the nights which I highly recommend. Great food, no work, and tons of leftovers. My only thing I would add is that they could use some more kitchen supplies to be 100% stocked. For example, more Tupperware. With a house this size, I imagine many families will cook at night or just have lots of leftovers and there wasn’t a lot to store it in. I used cling wrap which is fine but with the humidity it could make it hard to keep the cling wrap on so you’d have to change it. I give this home 5 stars though for sure. Great spot and location, great home, Gary was excellent and the whole staff was very good. They do a better job than most I’ve booked with in terms of giving full day to day hands on service with Gary and Kimberly. I highly recommend this property and the rental group that manages this property based on my experience.

Fantastic stay everything was as advertised and better. Gary was on the money and helped with all our request. The Chef Chaco which cooked breakfast and dinner for 8 adults during the week was fantastic. I will recommend Chaco for everyone! Thank you all!!

We were 3 couples staying in this 3 bedroom villa for a week in January 2023. The villa is spectacular! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and all have en-suite bathrooms with gorgeous soaking tubs, candles and bathrobes. We enjoyed many evenings in the comfy outdoor lounging areas and had chef Jorge and Kim cook us some delicious breakfasts and dinners. There are gorgeous vies to both Bisanz beach and Manuel Antonio beach with daily visits from mischievous monkeys and beautiful birds. Gary and David were our concierges and they both did a great job attending to all our needs. We were able to walk to Bisenz beach from the villa( good hike uphill on the return!) but could also taxi to either beach really easily and lots of chairs and umbrellas were available at both beaches.
Overall- this villa is beyond beautiful and we recommend booking without hesitation!

The house was so beautiful, loved the indoor outdoor living. We saw tons of wildlife right from the back of the house. Gary was tons of help in setting up all our excursions and any other needs we had. Was also great to have Kimberly cleaning daily, she did a fantastic job. Hope to be back!

This was the perfect spot in Manuel Antonio. With the treehouse style, you really get the feel of staying in the jungle. Wild life came to visit us every day and the views were beautiful. Jorge the chef made the most delicious meals and Kim his assistant was so fun and fantastic. Communication with Gary was easy and he made sure we had everything we needed and booked all of our excursions for us. We would gladly stay here again!

The Villa was amazing. Every room had a view and a private bath and balcony. The wild life was over the top. There was a variety of beautiful birds.(toucans, macaws and many more) also the monkeys were fun to watch.
I had hired Carlos (chief) for two dinners and breakfasts, that were delicious. Kimberly the housekeeper was very sweet and thorough. Gary, our host, was very responsive. Gary made arrangements for transportation and reservations to restaurants that were not within walking distance.
The location was within walking distance to the beach and several restaurants.
I would highly recommend Great trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house keepers were phenomenal and all tour guides great! The house was well stocked, safe and clean. The only complaint I can think of would be the mattresses need to be upgraded as they were very hard. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The villa was everything listed and more. The setting was amazing, close to restaurants, shops and the ocean. We also got to interact with all kinds of wildlife while staying at the house. Gary, our concierge, was always available for anything we needed and a huge part of making our trip to special. Would definitely return.

We were in awe at how beautiful the house was! Gary our concierge was very helpful with planning our trip as well as transportation when we needed it. I would say the best part of the house was the chef, Jorge and Nain! They made our stay much more memorable. From the amazing food and drinks, to the great company! I would 100% recommend them when staying here! Costa Rica is a beautiful place, and this house made our stay amazing. Whether you want to go to the beach, or lay by the pool you can’t go wrong!

Some girlfriends and I booked Casa Dos Vistas for 5 days. All I can say is this was the best trip that we have ever had together and the beauty and comfort of the house with views from both sides made it so unique. Each large room has an en suite bathroom. Service was beyond anything I could have expected. Gary took care of any little thing we needed from booking tour/chef/grocery to staying at the house to receive my baggage that was lost while I went on a tour. Chef Jorge and his team were beyond accommodating, and the dinner was so perfect. We ate outside at the large table while the rain came down but we were shielded by the curtains. We had laundry service available as well. The trip/house was so fitting for our stay and our group. We could walk to beautiful restaurants and have a drink or full dinner to see the sunset from multiple vantage points or easily have a driver bring us to shopping/dinner. Be sure to check out Gabriella’s at the marina, best meal we had the entire trip. We had one very rainy day and just enjoyed sitting on the large sectional while shielded from the rain but able to watch it fall and the sky light up. We were visited by multiple macaws, monkeys, birds of all types during our stay.

This place is just stunning! We loved the views from the pool, the fully stocked kitchen, and the uniqueness of each bedroom, which all came with their own beautiful private bathroom! We got monkeys and toucans visiting us every day!!!! Gary was incredibly helpful and super quick to respond to our questions. Angie was also great help and made us feel at home at all times. Overall an amazing stay and we’d love to be back in the near future.

The great trip started before we got there and stayed great the entire time. Gary was excellent in helping us set everything up. The house was wonderful. The bedrooms were great equipped with everything we needed. The common living areas were also great. The pool was fantastic and we loved having housekeeping services every day. We highly recommend the private chef to get a real flavor of local cuisine. The catamaran tour and hot spring tour was also well worth it. Overall, everything was excellent!

It’s a beautiful property! Everything you could possibly need to enjoy your vacation is provided. The property sits on Pacific Canyon drive which from our perspective is the nicest real estate in all of Manuel Antonio. It has two ocean views, one from the front and a breathtaking view from the back. Book with confidence.Only con for me was no ice maker in the freezer. The property recently started allowing guests to use the washer and dryer which is a huge plus.

Perfect rental in great location. Safe and clean. Gary was helpful organizing Chef and excursions. Home is perfect for 4 couples as all bedrooms are suites and comfortable and private. Some earlier morning construction at house below rental but overall not that disruptive. Looks like construction will be done soon. I would rent again in a heart beat!

Overall, really good place to stay. It's got everything you need - great kitchen, 4 large bedrooms with separate bathrooms + a powder room off the kitchen. The living spaces of the home are open air - covered, but open. We were 7 adults, 1 toddler, an 1 infant. The views are north and south, so while you don't get sunsets, you get the cotton candy skies with mountains and water everywhere. Plus, the house isn't hit with direct sunlight and it's overwhelmingly hot all day.The house isn't really walking distance to things (say a mile to a small grocery store, pharmacy, a couple restaurants), but so long as you have a car you're good. Your beach options are Biesanz Bay (we didn't like - it's too well known and the day we went it was standing-room-only). It's about a 15 min walk from the house (not a fun walk). However, we LOVED driving right onto the beach at Playa Espadilla (you should use 4WD, but possible w/ 2WD so long as it's not muddy). The house is appx 12 min to the gate of Manuel Antonio. We had some really big ups here - we hired a private chef (Esteban), who not only made us breakfasts and dinners, but also cleaned. We had so much food leftover we had lunches too. The housecleaner Kimberly is phenomenal - probably the best we've ever had at a house. Additionally, Gary, our main contact was incredibly helpful. He's responsive, helped us find a place to get antibiotics over the counter and went above and beyond to take care of a tire w/ a nail in it (they changed it, took it to be repaired, and brought it back - the cost was $5.) They helped us book massages at the house, found a pack-n-play for us to use (free of charge), and would have stocked the house with groceries had we asked. The low was the construction noise from the Vista Ocean Suites Boutique Hotel next door. At times it was unbearably loud (cutting tile, etc.). Gary refunded us a night's cost and gave us a free day of our chef to make up for it which we felt was sufficient. If I were to go back and stay here, I would call that hotel and see if they plan to be doing construction first - alternatively, I'd see if you could book a stay during your nights. They stopped construction when their own guests checked in (although the owner of the hotel, with whom we spoke with, told us it was because 'he was a nice guy and gave the crew the weekend off' :) ). This place was truly a treat. Highly recommend assuming the place next door isn't building...
