About this house rental
Our Guest loves the Views!!! Stay close to sandy beaches at this charming, two bedroom beach house in fabulous Morro Bay. This home is near the bay on the hillside so the view is spectacular. The inside of the home is welcoming and extremely comfortable. The front balcony is off of the living room and a beautiful back patio provides a peaceful retreat. Guests can enjoy sunset beach views on the balcony, hot cocoa by the fireplace, and home-cooked meals in the newly renovated kitchen that is fully equipped. Whether you are enjoying a cozy night-in or exploring the town, there is so much to enjoy here in Morro Bay!
This is a perfect vacation getaway in one of the best communities on California's central coast. You are a quarter mile from Morro Bay State Park. The Embarcadero is a short jaunt that connects to the famous Morro Rock! Enjoy exquisite foods at nearby restaurants as you listen to the calming waves of the Pacific Ocean.
Morro Bay is a small beach front community between San Luis Obispo and Cambria off of Highway 1. Morro Rock is one of the seven sisters of extinct volcanoes. The rock was a navigational aid for sailors, but visitor and locals love to enjoy views of the rock from every angle, it's a mesmerizing site. Morro Bay has multiple micro climates so it is important to pack for cool to warm weather in one day.
Bird enthusiasts visit Morro Bay as it is a designated national bird sanctuary. It is also a state and national estuary.
With all that the central coast has to offer this comfortable and sweet home is a perfect vacation destination to make your stay enjoyable!

Everything was as stated in the listing. We appreciated the spacious and uncluttered garage, thank you. The kitchen cookware and dishes were better than most places.
The view from the balcony and living room was truly wonderful. We spent a lot of time watching for and viewing whales beyond the sand spit.

We booked a month at this VRBO and were incredibly pleased with the experience. We had two adults, one toddler, and one baby -- this was more than enough space. The only issues were minor ones, like a sink that wouldn't drain well and a shower that had poor water pressure. Other than that, would highly recommend!

We loved staying here. and wish we could've stayed longer. The only negative is no heating for upstairs bedrooms. There is no central heating only a gas heater in main living area.
Loved the neighborhood. Great for walking.. Also, a Great selection of reading material. The view is one of the BEST!

The wonderful design of the large main space, from kitchen through living room out through the front deck. felt like we had our own path to the lagoon, the land spit and the breaking waves. House was well supplied, furnished, organized, taken care off. Back patio got lots of sun. Master bedroom large -- plenty of room for yoga and comfy bed. Modern shower and the rest. Ample parking and large garage. Location was terrific, adjacent to the fabulous state park and very close to "uptown" and farmers market and the Embarcadero, the famous rock, and the rest of Morro Bay. The main wonderful Morro beach along Route 1, just a few minutes away, which blends into Cayucos, where you might get a bit more sun. Give Taco Temple a visit for great food and large helpings. We also loved Baywood and Los Osos, a quick drive through the park and down the Blvd. You will be lucky to rent this space.

Back again for Work; 3rd time. All good; excellent location, well equipped kitchen, attached garage, and super kayaking, hiking and cycling routes right out the door. View of the Bay from deck and friendly folks in the neighborhood.

This home was a delightful place to stay while we were in Morro Bay! However, a couple things could be improved. The heating upstairs was not adequate. We had to buy a space heater to warm up both bedrooms and the bathroom. The master bed was way too soft, so much so, that my husband and I had to sleep in separate beds since the guest bed was the only one that was firm. It would have been nice to have had a ceiling fan in the upstairs bathroom to avoid having to stand on the toilet or a chair to open the window whenever we showered. We loved the kitchen, living room with remote controlled fireplace which we used quite a bit, and patio/porch in the front with lovely views of both the bay and the ocean in all kinds of light! We spent lots of time out there just enjoying the view. A couple little things that would improve the kitchen: smaller coffee mugs would have been nice as well as a vegetable peeler. Other than that the kitchen was well appointed. The location was perfect in a lovely, pleasant, friendly neighborhood yet close enough to walk to Black Hill, the park by the bay and to downtown. We absolutely loved walking the hills of the neighborhood which we did a lot!
Our stay in Morro Bay was exceptional, thanks, in large part, to the comfortable cottage to which we were able to return each day, after hikes in the surrounding area. We greatly appreciated the management company's prompt response to any concerns we had upon arrival too. Cindy was wonderful!
Thank you for making our stay in Morro Bay so memorable. We miss it already and hope to return in the future.
