Very happy to stay at Sundown Inn and will be back for sure.

The room was cute, quaint, clean and comfortable. The staff was awesome. Didn’t know the front desk closes at 10pm, and they waited until we got there at almost 11pm. Location was great, within walking distance to the embarcadero with lots of restaurants and shops.

Our stay was a pleasant experience and was very comfortable.

The hotel was in a great location, the room updated and very clean. The owner/manager was extremely friendly and anxious to please. The bed was very comfortable.

The television was set on a lowboy dresser and hard to see. The room and bathroom is sufficient but a bit small. But now I'm being picky.

I learned that double beds are shorter than queen beds so my husband complained about his feet hanging over the mattress.

Great stay in Morro Bay!

Beautifully renovated older motel downtown! Clean and awesomely accessorized room with a view of Morro Rock out the window even though it’s 3 streets away from the bay.

Just what we expected. We were happy.

It was ideal for what we wanted, plus so close to amenities, even within walking distance to eateries, and downtown shopping. The couple who registered us were very nice, and accomodating.

A wonderful and affordable place to stay in Morro Bay

Sundown Inn is a gem. Room was cute with nice table and chairs, fridge with separate upper freezer compartment, and a make up/desk nook. It was clean and comfortable. Very quiet except for the distant fog horn. Even provided actual ceramic coffee cups. Location was perfect and within a short walk to restaurants and Morro Rock.

This is my go-to place when visiting Morro Bay.

Its a very cute, family run motel close to the Embarcadero and downtown. The rooms are very clean and the outdoor plants and flowers are beautiful. The owners are wonderful and take great pride in their motel.

Great value motel in Morro Bay

Really friendly staff and exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Great location, a couple of blocks from the bay. And the 'magic fingers' massaging bed was a great touch.

The owner is very nice and welcoming. Price/value is excellent. The motel is cute, clean. Comfortable bed and even porcelain cup and saucer for morning coffee in the room!

Cute hideaway

Single floor rooms. Clean, well cared for, in good repair. Good location, quiet, courteous neighbors when we were there. Non-smoking room smelled fresh-no hint of smoke and no neighbors outside smoking anything to come in thorough the windows or A/C...we really appreciated that after a horrible experience staying somewhere else. Complimentary shampoo and conditioner all-in-one, lotion, bars of soap (as well as wall mounted dispenser of all-in-one body soap and shampoo near sink and in shower), Kleenex, extra roll of TP, WiFi, TV, mini fridge, microwave, heat and A/C, dresser and closet. Hot water came quickly, good water pressure. Great weather when we were there in January...warm, sunny, gorgeous day. We would definitely go here again.

Queen bed felt small, but it was warm enough and comfortable. It may have been a full or it may just be because you couldn't easily use the edges or you felt like you would slip off. Shower only, no tub.

This place really exceeded our expectations and isn't just a standard inn. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean and neatly decorated. Walking distance to marina and easy to find.

It’s a unique old school motel with a classic vibe. You need to have an appreciation for older well kept motels. It was clean and comfortable. Rooms are the smaller for two big dudes

Those special touches made our stay most pleasurable, from the little sachets to the floral cups and saucers. The doilies added a finishing touch. Outside, special care was taken to plant such huge, beautiful flowers.
