Villa Bahamas

Modern and very spacious, villa Bahamas is a fantastic 6-bedroom villa affording a prime location in Armação de Pêra, with breathtaking sea views and only 600m from the best golden sandy beaches. Built and furnished to the highest of standards throughout, this stunning villa provides all the amenities you need for a relaxing and luxurious holiday.

The property has 6 bedrooms and is ideally suited for large families or for several families holidaying together. A twin bedroom is located on the ground floor (with an en-suite bathroom) and another twin bedroom is on the lower floor (with a ceiling fan) and a separate bathroom. On the first floor are the remaining bedrooms: 2 twin rooms (both with en-suite bathroom units) and 2 double bedrooms (one with an en-suite bathroom unit), as well as an additional bathroom.

At villa Bahamas you have free Wi-fi and air conditioning (cooling and heating) in all rooms except on the lower floor, where you have a ceiling fan.

The games room is located on the lower floor, with table tennis, table football and snooker providing hours of entertainment. There are also comfortable sofas, a TV and a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and washing machine.

On the ground floor are the main living and dining areas which are bright and stylish, with comfortable sofas and a TV, the dining area, a fully equipped modern kitchen and a guest W.C. Large windows bring the outdoor views of the terrace and swimming pool in, while sliding doors allow you direct access outdoors.

Outside, a large swimming pool (heatable as an optional extra) invites you to cool off from the Algarve heat, relax on sun loungers by the pool and at the end of the day, the jacuzzi is available (as an optional extra) to warm up in the evenings. There is also a traditional BBQ, ideal for preparing meals to be enjoyed on the terrace.

The location is one of the highlights of this property, as it’s just a short walk from shops, supermarkets and a variety of restaurants and bars, allowing for a car-free holiday. The beautiful beaches of Armação de Pera are only an 8-minute walk down the road. Car hire is not necessary, only if you want to discover more of the Algarve. Should you wish to hire a car or bring your own, parking spaces are available.

The changeover day for this property is on Saturday.

Pool Heating will always be an upgrade for your holidays, especially when travelling with children. The temperature of the water when the pool heating is activated will always be between 5ºC and 8ºC higher than if there was no pool heating.

We are three generations aged 15-72. The villa is spacious and clean. It isn’t ’brand new’ but is modern and well appointed. We had a fabulous time and loved strolling down to the beach and restaurants.

This house is Spectacular! We traveled with our three grown kids, their spouses and our grandkids. There was plenty of space and bathrooms for all 13 of us. The pool was heated and was an absolute delight!The location is perfect. We mostly walked into the fun town with a myriad of great restaurants and gorgeous beach. Ubers are always available within 5 minutes. We also tried Bolt which was less expensive and just as efficient. A big hit for the kids was Zoomarine. Do not miss this if you are traveling with children. My only regret is that we did not book it for two weeks. No one wanted to return home to NY!

The villa itself was according to what they had describe, but the maintenance was terrible ,it made us waist 3 days of our holiday for different people to come and repair fist three head showers that were not functioning, then the sliding door for the space to park our car inside the lot was not working, then a technician for the dishwasher came, and said could not be repair had to have the owner to come so they could change it ,there was also a sofa that had two broken legs which we showed Karen from the Algarve Vacation that came to show us around, but was more occupied by giving us all the different excursions that they were selling. When we arrived there was a construction site just next the villa , Karen told us they had not been working on it for months, but they appeared the following days . And to end the whole thing at the end of our stay they charged us for two pillows they said were missing. We told them that they were just misplaced from downstairs to upstairs, that we would not travel with 2 pillows under our arms with our suitcases on train and airplane they never gave us back our money. I corresponded many times with Olivia Grimms from Algarve Vacation, but gave me all kinds of of excuses and never gave us our money back. If I were the owner I would be fire that organization that does not take care properly of my house .

Excellent and well equipped property for a large family including several young children. Situated in an ideal location, near beach and a quality supermarket. We had an attentive property agent and their reactions and communication was also very good. They arranged for our transfers and local trips with professional drivers, with a great attitude. Check in is the one downside if you are not hiring a car. Early flight and 4pm check in means luggage has to be left in the centre of Albufeira, beside the ugly and totally unfriendly “Albufeira Strip” Not where you want to sit around for 4 hours.

Overall, this was a wonderful place. Only suggestion I have is for the owner to add soap, at least dishwashing soap to the space or clearly inform guest these will not be supplied. If a guest arrives late at night, it can be unfortunate to find one has no soap. This is relatively a simple expense for the owner to incur, or explicitly state on the listing that guests need to bring their own soap

Took the whole family away for our golden wedding anniversary. The villa was everything we could have asked for. Very clean, Amazing warm pool, hot tub, games room and brilliant location.

Nice, modern, open spaced and well equipped house, perfect for our family of 11. Beautiful yard with well maintained pool. Location is in a quiet neighborhood and a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. Olivia & Karen were incredibly helpful with arranging our transportation and excursions. Our only issues with the property were the many persistent ants (we cleaned constantly in an attempt to keep them away) and the plumbing. We called for plumbing service midweek, but nobody arrived, even after we followed up. Other than that, we enjoyed our family vacation.

We had 3 families staying with 7 kids and 6 adults. The house is ina great location - close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc... We had a wonderful time using the pool and the game room setup downstairs was fantastic for the kids.

It’s a great house for a bigger group like ours. The pool and hottub set up outside is amazing. Plenty of space to spread out. Rooms are smaller but have great AC and enough bathrooms for everyone. Basement has table tennis, football, billiards. Beach is walking distance and plenty of other beaches short drive away. Short walk to town and restaurants. Karen welcomed us and was very responsive to any of our requests. Small suggestions for the future: it recommends itself as high end villa but is not stocked with enough toilet paper, any shampoo,very little on soaps. It didn’t have a kitchen sponge, salt-pepper, paper towels, laundry detergent. It would benefit from beach/pool toys, couple of boogie boards. Those basics are annoying to buy on vacation and when present add just the right touch. Please consider that.

this property is perfect for a group, great location (just a short walk to bars, beach and restaurants). Supermarket 10 minutes walk. Pool and hot tub were very warm.

Had 34 people between two beautiful houses. Had enough space for everyone. Host were amazing. They didn’t have an Espresso machine and I asked for one and within a couple of hours was delivered. I will rent from them next time

This is a lovely villa with everything you could need. We stayed with a party of 14 and it was a perfectly adequate space to convene in. The games room on the lower floor was a winner and with a separate bedroom, bathroom, TV and small kitchen area made it perfect for the teenagers in the group. The ground floor bedroom and walk in shower room was perfect for our party member in a wheelchair. The villa was lovely and clean. This villa is definitely a winner. We loved it.
