We had 4 couples for the weekend and we had a wonderful time. The pool was great!

Super clean nice spacious home with all the amenities. We were looking for a stay near the riverwalk and hit the mark as we were less than 2 miles from the Alamo. The kitchen and tv room were very spacious with ease of access when cooking cleaning and just visiting.
The climate control system for cooling was remarkable as we were forced to turn up the thermostat 3-4 degrees due to the house's excellent insulation.
The owner is readily available during the stay and is very knowledgeable.
I would highly recommend this stay for 7-12 family gatherings or other events.
Thanks Brent for everything!

Wonderful historic home. Beautiful inside and out. Plenty of room and in a great area not too far from places we needed to be. Took the family to San Antonio for a cheer competition at Sea World. Easy drive there and to other places as well. Hosts were great and had open communication highly recommended.

If you are coming to San Antonio to see the sights with family you couldn’t do better than this house! Within 10 minutes driving distance of the zoo, the Alamo, Witte museum, and river walk. The pool is great for an afternoon swim. We had extended family stay here (6 adults and 5 children) and had plenty of room for all to stay. Brent is super communicative and helpful!

Great house for our family, lots of space, great big kitchen and family room area. Enjoyed large screen tv with streaming apps. Perfect location, we walked 1 block to La Fonda restaurant and took Uber to river walk. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and parks close by. Communication with Brent was easy and responsive.

We stayed at this house for my son’s graduation from Texas A&M, San Antonio.
The house had plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group. A really nice open floor plan for the living room and kitchen for us to be able to eat, talk and play games.
We had family in town from CA and from North Texas. We enjoyed cooking meals together and going out to dinner 1 night on the River Walk (10 min away). HEB grocery store is only 5 min away.
If we are in San Antonio again, would definitely stay at this house.
Thank you Brent, for being a great host.

Overall nice enough with good location. Spacious with charm. Complaints: Casita bathroom not clean. Shower curtain moldy. Oven grease trap full in Casita stove. Very little glass ware in home, three wine glasses! Temperature of home difficult to keep comfortable. Kids bunk room was cold like a meat locker, while rest of home was just ok. Had to over ride thermostat to not freeze-out the kids. Hose from Pool cleaning equipment owned the entire pool rendering it uninviting. Security lighting randomly flashed off and on outside of home interrupting sleep.

We enjoyed our stay in San Antonio! The house was great for 4 kids and 4 adults. The kitchen was great for entertaining and the pool was a big hit with the kids! There was a restaurant right around the house which was convenient. There were a few run down houses around the rental, but overall the neighborhood seemed very safe. Brent was fabulous and was very responsive with any issues we came across.

My family traveled back to San Antonio for our extended family event being held over a long weekend in January. We specifically began looking for a house in the Historic and lovely Monte Vista neighborhood of San Antonio, as my family roots have lived in this area since the early 1900's. My grandparent's first date was even at the historic La Fonda restaurant, which is one block away! The late 19th century, tree-lined neighborhood is filled with beautiful mansions and cottages, and you get an architectural tour by walking or driving along the streets. I always tell my friends who want to visit San Antonio to try to stay in this area, as it is close to downtown, the Pearl, the Quarry Market, the Zoo & Brackenridge Park Museums, Sunken Gardens, great restaurants, and all of the highways to get you where you want to go...or just stay on the back roads. Brent's house was the PERFECT place for our family to stay. There was plenty of room to spread out, and to gather in the common areas for meals and spending time together. Seven of us stayed in the house, and it was nice to know that we could have up to 12 for future visits. The house is full of historic charm and details, yet also modernized and well-appointed for all we needed in the kitchen, living room and bathrooms. Our children enjoyed the bunk room for sleeping, and they found an interesting nook in the upstairs bedroom to read books and play together. We definitely want to return! Thank You, Brent!

We loved our stay in Woodlawn Manor. The home showed off much of its 1912 charm while the renovated kitchen and bathrooms had all the modern features you’d ever want. The rooms were spacious and allowed plenty of comfortable places for a large gathering.
The location was ideal…the neighborhood with its lovely historic homes was a pleasure to walk and there were many excellent restaurants within walking distance as well… also just minutes from the Museums , Garden center, and downtown. Thank you so much Brent for opening up your wonderful home to travelers!

The home was so unique in its historic architecture and perfect for our group. We walked to get coffee at two different spots in the neighborhood as a way to do an architecture tour of the neighborhood.
The casita came in extra handy as a place to put the kids when they wanted to watch kid stuff and we didn’t have to worry about them running off. We actually ended up letting them sleep in the Casita instead of the bunk room since the bunk room led straight to the pool! Of course the pool was the main attraction and the kids and adults swam morning and night. We had a tiny hiccup getting into the casita and wifi (passwords must have been changed) but the owner communicated with me and resolved it right away. One tiny drawback was that there were more rooms than showers (5 rooms including casita and 3 showers) but had 5 toilets so we shared showers. The kids loved showering in the multi shower head primary bath. The house had plenty of bath towels and provided about 5 pool towels but we went ahead and brought extra pool towels. Having the washer and dryer was priceless. We would stay here again in a heartbeat since the location is so close to the Pearl district, Quarry shopping and of course, the Riverwalk.
