Come visit The Catamount Lodge in the idyllic mountain town of Green Mountain Falls, Colorado! Green Mountain Falls is the perfect location for your next family getaway, located at the base of America's Mountain, Pike's Peak. Hiking, biking, sight-seeing, ATV trails, Garden of the Gods, Cliff Dwellings, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Dinosaur Resource Center, restaurants, shopping, Pike's Peak Highway, The North Pole/Santa's Workshop, are all within a 15 minute drive. From the property, you will be a short walk to waterfalls and beautiful hiking trails. Green Mountain Falls town center is 1 mile away with restaurants, a small lake with a trail around it with fishing allowed, and a beautiful park with playground equipment. Community pool is open in the summer.
Green Mountain Falls is a beautiful place to visit at any time of year, with the golden aspens in the fall, ice over the lake in the winter, green trees and wild flowers in the spring and summer, and hiking year round! Green Mountain Falls is also the home of the annual The Green Box event in early July. This is also the perfect location if you are attending the world famous Pike's Peak International Hill Climb at the end of June. With Woodland Park just 5 miles away, it is a convenient yet quaint and quiet location!
The Catamount Lodge is a 2,850 sq ft property, 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with central heat and air. The house has high vaulted ceilings, which makes for open and inviting spaces to enjoy time with friends and family. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a bathroom with a tub and a shower and is on the main floor, with the kitchen, dining room and living area. The upstairs has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a shared bathroom which has a tub and shower. In the lower level are two bedrooms with bunkbeds, full size in one room and twin in the other. There is also a small room with a TV, books and games, perfect for kids! The lower level also has a bathroom with stand-up shower. The kitchen is well appointed, with a toaster, coffer maker, crock pot, utensils, pots and pans, dishwasher, ice maker, double oven, and microwave. Kitchen also has a cozy breakfast nook with a lovely view. Also on the main floor is a half bathroom and large dining room with a table large enough for 10-12 people. The main living area has lots of comfortable seating, and a 65'" TV with plenty of streaming and a state of the art surround sound system.
Outside is a large deck with a seating area and a table. The views from the deck are breathtaking and you can hear the creek flowing from there. There is also a small bistro-style seating area in the back of the house where you can watch the deer meander by while you sip your morning coffee. Even the occasional bear sighting! There are two single-car garages that guests may use, as well as spots for three cars on the driveway. You are only a short distance from the trailhead of the best hikes in the area. This home is located on one of the most scenic streets in town!
Green Mountain Falls is about 90 miles from the closest ski resort, Breckenridge. The drive to Breckenridge is gorgeous, so consider making this your base for winter sports, avoiding higher prices in the resort towns.
We do allow up to 2 dogs, but ask that they not be allowed on furniture and that there be no trace left in the yard. No smoking in the house, please. This is a quiet neighborhood. We do not allow large parties and ask that a quiet time of 9:00 PM be observed. Only registered guests are allowed to stay at the house. 10% military discount offered, please inquire.

What a beautiful home! We stayed with my Father-in-law (83), his girlfriend (80), my sister-in-law and her husband and kids (5, 3), and my husband and kids (4, 3, 1), and the house worked beautifully for us! Our kids loved the bunk rooms and playroom area and the patio and scenery was just absolutely gorgeous. We wish we would have stayed for longer!

Our family of 7 adults enjoyed our stay very much. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive to all of our requests, responding each time within only a few minutes. The two downstairs bedrooms are very small and both have bunkbeds which take up most of the space. They would be more appropriate for younger children than for adults. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

The Catamount Lodge is a beautiful and well maintained property. The rooms are comfortable and clean as are the living spaces. It is located within a 15-20 minute drive to local attractions, and the drive is scenic. The owners are timely in their responses to inquiries and the comfort of guests is a priority. As was previously stated: Look no further. The Catamount Lodge is where you want to stay.

We enjoyed this home so much! The hot tub/ fire pit area in the back is a perfect place to relax. The upper deck has a beautiful view and you can hear the waterfall as well. We spent a lot of time sitting out there. The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need. The location of the home is perfect, it is a quiet neighborhood and is close to a trail that goes to a waterfall. It’s a beautiful hike. Be aware that if you have physical limitations, this home does have a lot of stairs. The host is very responsive to questions, I very much appreciate that. We would stay there again, it accommodated our family of 8 very well.

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay in this home! The views/scenery from the home are breathtaking. It was myself, husband, our 4 children ages 17-25 and their 2 friends ages 18 and 20.
The home is spacious although I would suggest taking an additional space heater to warm the entry area downstairs. Other than that it was amazing!! We were so close to Pikes Peak, Cave of the winds, Garden of the gods. We also ate breakfast a few times at The Pantry restaurant which is about 3 minutes from the house. Great food!
We also hiked outside of the house! How convenient is that?!
The home has a beautiful fireplace. For one of our meals we all ate outside on the patio table and enjoyed the views of the trees and snow. I could go on and on. My husband and I definitely recommend this home!!

We stayed with 2 other couples (6 Adults and 7 kids total) and enjoyed ever minute. The house has everything you need to relax and enjoy the breathtaking view from the large deck. The beds were average but the owners are the nicest ever. They were very helpful and accomidating of anything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked and great hiking right up the road. We saw loads of wildlife (deer, fox, chipmonks) everyday. We plan to be back soon.

My whole family of 12 stayed here for a week. The property is about a 15 minute walk to town and a 5 minute walk to the start of the catamount trailhead. We had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, condiments, etc. We had to buy nothing but the food we wanted to eat. The owner even set up an air mattress for us in the small room. Beth was wonderful and very easily accessible. She offered suggestions and places to go in the area. We had zero complaints, and can’t wait to return for a future visit!

We wanted to take our kids to see the mountains. This property was nestled in the mountains with plenty of space for us all. We spent most of our time at the property in the cozy living room watching TV by the fire place. We had a great time.

This was a great place for my partner and 3 friends and I to reunite and spend a night as 3 of us began a week long vacation. It was a great place to make dinner after a visit to Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods and before heading off on a week long vacation around the state.
After we arrived we enjoyed happy hour catching up on the deck, looking at the mountains, then enjoyed a fun family style dinner at the large dining table. I relished looking at the stars from the deck and master bedroom at night.
Beth and her husband took us on a wonderful hike on Sunday morning right from the house, after which my friends, partner and I enjoyed lunch on the deck before packing and tidying up and departing.
The house had plenty of space for us to spread out and have simultaneous conversations in different corners. One friend enjoyed a morning coffee on the backside of the house catching up with her family via FaceTime while others of us had breakfast on the front deck.
I just wish we had had more time there !

The view, the way it looks, everything that surrounds it is perfect! So close to everything! The only thing we needed was a blender, but no biggie. The host was helpful and even let us check in a bit early! We had some snacks left for us. We are definitely coming back! Don’t think about it, just book! You will not regret it! Looking forward to coming back soon!
