Breakfast very good. Plenty of choice and staff always very helpful. Cooked breakfast always piping hot.
Perhaps more storage space in the room.

clean, very friendly, beautiful setting, lovely atmosphere, great breakfast, nice local walks - perfect for last night of holiday.
it was all beautiful - would have been nice to have had some cushions on the chairs outside our room if I’m being really picky!

Some nice beers and nice room decor.
Bar man on Tuesday evening was very polite.
Food. We believe we both had food poising after our meal on Tuesday evening so decided to leave after only one night.
The cooked part of breakfast also wasn’t great. Eggs Benedict the poached eggs were not runny. Veggie breakfast had a hair cooked into the egg.
Swearing around the bar area at breakfast we think from a member of staff who was sat on her laptop.

Big comfy room, select of tea and real coffee in room. Good pub food. Very friendly good service
A bit hot and noise from fan when window open

Perfect, not overwhelmed in choices (a good thing) but each course and option was of good quality. I had a relatively early start but staff were very accommodating and really looked after me.
Noticeable in the evening that the staff all appeared to get on and work well with each other. They were all very efficient, understood their roles but mucked in for each other and this all makes for a very good atmosphere for guests.
For my brief stay I couldn't fault them on anything.

Beautiful location, gorgeous country pub in tranquil surroundings with Wells cathedral in the background across the hills. Delicious food, lovely pub with lots of different spaces to relax in. Room was gorgeous - we had deluxe double, robes, slippers a d a lovely big shower. Breakfast was really good- great options for traditional or continent breakfast or vegetarian options. Free onsite parking too!
It was all good.

Bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar not super good and definateley over priced. But everything else was good.
Very expensive and charged £25 to have my dog stay as well, most places are additional £5-£7

Food was excellent. We had both dinner and breakfast there. Our room was very comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Location was good for a visit to Cheddar Gorge.

Fantastic meal and excellent staff, who went out of their way to make our stay special. Loved the whiskey bar. Hearty breakfast too.
The room we stayed in was really hot, even with the fan on. We had the window open, but then kept getting woken up by other guests leaving the bar. May need to consider air con in the future. Would be delightful in winter/autumn though.

Fine
Disappointed that the waitress didn't know there was chili in the tomato dish that went with the poached egg. Do'nt mind chili in the evening but not for breakfast!
