Breakfast was pleasant and with a good choice on the menu. The juice was fresh and cold, the coffee aromatic and tasty. The vegetarian breakfast was a little carb heavy, but this is very typical. I loved the idea of halloumi instead of a sausage.
The curtains fell down when we touched them. Otherwise the room was simple and classy, and extremely comfortable. The atmosphere in the pub is really lovely. It feels like a gentle and happy place and the music isn't too loud. It has a cosy feel to it. The range of real ales wasn't great, but this probably varies. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The setting, the decor and the ambience. Suited me to a t. Good drinks too and a lovely meal and breakfast

Very friendly, helpful staff , nothing was too much trouble. Room and bathroom were beautiful and spacious. Outdoor seating area was lovely. Kitchen staff very helpful as I gave dietary requirements.
Bed was very hard so not suitable for myself. The water didn't get hot enough for us to bath or shower but I reported the issue, this wasn't really a problem as we only stayed overnight. Food was a bit pricey and I didn't like how they seasoned the food with salt and pepper when people prefer to do this themselves. There was a lot of added things to the food that wasn't mentioned on the menu. I yhink care and specific writing on menu needs to be done as lots of people have many dietary preferences

rooms are up some steep stairs, rather over priced in my view, but great staff.

Staff very helpful. Room decor was great, comfortable bed and great shower. Location for us was great too.
The room didnt look like it had been hoovered and there was a receipt left on the tray, from the last person staying in the room. There was also crumbs of food on the coffee tray that hadnt been cleaned. Breakfast was very good but the evening meal was poor, out of the four meals that were ordered not one was what was actually ordered!

The food was lovely and the room was spacious and well decorated. Staff were kind and apologetic of what happened
We were shown to our rooms to find that neither room had been cleaned. We had wet, used towels on the floor and in the other room the curtain was pulled off the wall and there was food left on the dressing table and bed. The beds were unmade. The water in the shower took far too long to get to reasonable temperature.

The room was excellent! Comfy large bed. We slept well.
Very slow breakfast service, Twenty minutes for coffee and main breakfast came up with our muesli and croissants. We sat down at 9.00. Food arrived at 9.45. We had to leave at 10 am.
No hot water. Tap not working.

The welcome at the Redan Inn was very good. We had an issue with the wifi in room 3 but that was sorted quickly the next morning. The rooms at the Inn were clean and roomy. The Inn wasn't noisy. Breakfast was amazing. The cook cooked the best poached eggs we have had for a long while. The sour bread toast was homemade and exceptional. The menu choice was good and the service was friendly. The evening meal menu was also very good. They have an exceptional cook.
There was nothing we didn't like.

room was nicely done out - had a evening meal which was really lovely
I’m afraid it could do with a really good clean - when we went into the bar in the afternoon which was also in need of clean and the toilets-there was no food available which after a long travel was poor we was offered crisps - there was no info in room re Wi-Fi or hotel info .

Room was lovely and big. Bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Bed linen was spotless and beautiful quality. Breakfast was outstanding as was the Sunday lunch. Staff were also incredible and nothing was to much trouble for them.
Room was a little tired, but I think after lockdown and the cost of living crisis, we are in atm. We have to give these businesses a bit of slack. They have had an incredibly hard time! We only had a few issues and all but one was dealt with immediately. Tv was probably our fault we left it too late to report. By that time no one was available to fix the issue. But other than that we simply cannot fault this place. The staff were absolutely incredible and could not have been more helpful or friendly. I would most definitely stay here again 😊

I particularly liked the Service and the Food. Ella was excellent for both days of my stay

Redan Inn is a nice pub - food is good and we had a very nice and large room with a super sized bed
We were staying on Sunday eve and no one warned us that the pub closes at 7pm (you have a key to go out and come back , but in facilities in the pub - they kindly did us a cheese board , but I think they need to tell you if you book on a Sunday

It’s proximity to where we were visiting, the bed was very comfortable. And the room it’s self very quirky with items from years gone by school room.
Unfortunately due to an issue it was a very long wait in the evening for the main course.

room 7,I did raise a complaint but feel I wasn’t taken seriously. I didn’t feel it was worth the money I paid for it

We were on our way to Dorset so good location for a stopover. The room was spacious.
The bar closed early, about half an hour after we arrived, we were going to freshen up and have a drink after a long journey but it closed about 4pm. On arrival we were not told it was closing early or offered drinks. The website also let's you book meals for a Sunday evening when there isn't food avaliable.

Just one night stopover but would stay again in future. Good size room, comfortable, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff, good food in the restaurant and an excellent breakfast.
Nothing.

the staff were incredibly welcoming, down to earth and good fun. had some good conversations and were very accommodating. unfortunately we arrived too late for dinner at the restaurant so they gave us a laptop and organised a takeaway for us which they allowed us to eat in the pub, would highly recommend this place

The rooms are beautiful. Immaculate and comfortable.
The staff are so friendly and hospitable. They couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. The pub food is top quality.
Our second visit in 3 months and our favourite pub stay.
Nothing not to like.

The room was lovely, clean and comfortable.
Only complaint would be the food - really overpriced for what it was, especially the starters. The 'deconstructed' prawn cocktail was 3 very small pieces of lettuce on a large plate with 3 king prawns! Literally.
The food.
