Friendly hosts in an excellent location for Harry Potter

Lovely clean downstairs house with superb friendly hosts living upstairs in an excellent location only a 10 minute walk to the warner brothers studio ( Harry Potter) for my wife and daughter. We used a reliable taxi company recommended by our hosts myself and my in law for the train station in Watford for the 20 minute journey to Euston exploring the delights of the city

It was walking distance to Harry Potter studio - very close.

The description listed washing machine and dryer, central heating and fireplace None of these items were able to be used - written notice by host. Although walking distance to HP studio, location was isolated and not close to any supermarkets or eating places. We turned up around 630pm with no provisions - not ideal when you have kids. There was milk in the fridge but no tea or sugar - no biggie but used to having this left out in other places. If you have transport, have some provisions and are looking to walk to HP studio then this is a fair and reasonable place to spend a night or 2.

Very clean, very close to HPW which was our reason to visit. The managers were very helpful and love

The accommodation was spotless and modern.

Heating panels on wall were dangerously hot ... scalding in fact with a little one we were concerned. There was no milk or tea bags at the property so we had to wait until next morning to have a cup of tea.

Ok for a solo business traveller but not worth the money and small.

No breakfast expected and none there!

The central heating did not appear to be working correctly during my stay - it was freezing. As a solo traveller this was bearable, but I would not have wanted to be with wife and/or children. The property is a ground floor maisonette, which is okay for one or a couple but would be very cramped for a family. There was no dining table or indeed, any kind of surface to sit and eat at. The property was advertised as having dedicated parking - it does NOT. it is a crowded cup de sac and parking on street is very congested and difficult.

Superb

Since we'd only booked the apartment because we visited the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, our expectations were exceeded by far when we discovered it was really only a short walk to it. On top of that, we arrived before our scheduled check-in time and couldn't have fathomed the warm welcoming we were greeted with. The hosts are absolutely incredible and immediately provided us with an outstanding recommendation as to where we could eat out.

Disappointing

Good location for visiting Harry Potter World.

Not clean. Jacuzzi bath had lots of black mould which came out when I was bathing my children. Bath mat wet on arrival and hairs in the bath. Tried to speak to the host about it but they won't reply to my messages and Booking.com won't do anything either so please be mindful of this when you book.

Lovely clean and spacious. Hosts very knowledgeable about the local area. Lovely place just 7minutes walk for breakfast. Lots of Uber eats options available.

A Genuine Jem!

Any absolutely amazing property that's within walking distance to the Warner Brothers studio tour. The couple that run it are fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. These are genuine people with a genuinely great set up. If you're unhappy staying here I'll give you your money back myself!

The property was comfortable and clean, and was in such a fantastic location! We were a stones throw from the Harry Potter studios and just a short journey from Central London!

Overall the stay was very comfortable and a pleasant.

The TV whilst good, did not have standard UK terrestrial channels, or if it did no instructions of the use of the TV were available.

Instructions for TV use were non existent. The apartment is perfect for a small family break etc. However, as a business traveller for work, facilities were limited.

Fantastic home from home in Watford

The pictures don't do the place justice, it's beautiful and a real home from home. Your own 2 bed flat and garden for your stay. 5 mins from Harry Potter Studio 2 and not far from Watford junction to get into London really easily.

Great little place

Spacious and amazing location, clean and modern,comfy bed, we rushed to get out as we overslept, and the lady had to go in and clean but was understanding

The male owner was super chatty which was nice at first but when we got back we ended up having to tell him we have to go in as it was raining and cold and he just kept on chatting to us, we couldn't get away, bless him.

Fab little find, close to WB studios

The apartment was absolutely immaculate when we arrived; our host was very accommodating when we said we'd be later checking in. We all slept so well, that we didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. The bath was fantastic and just what we needed after a day walking the streets of London.

We were going to the Harry Potter Studios which were less than 10min stroll away perfect with the kids. Property was spotless and hosts were so friendly and helpful. Super comfy beds and a jacuzzi bath with lights which was the highlight for the kids 😀

The host was very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble, both Mr & Mrs were really nice & very helpful & friendly. My brother & I had such a lovely time. Thank you.

When we first arrived the accomadation was cold. This was resolved by the host . Maybe a little folder to tell visitors about things to see & visit around the area.
