Front desk was very rude. Rooms look very dated. Could add a few boogers to the wall and complete a mural already there. Mold growing beside the ac unit. Toilet flused sometimes.......

Front desk service (owner) wasn' freindly. I arrived ariund 840 PM. Owner wasn't kind and did not greet me. Looked bothered as I entered lobby. Didn’t give me a greeting. I said good evening and he said, ID. Gave me keys and said the room number. I did tried to speak coordially. No responses. Was rude and seemed repulse. Room was sufficient. Outdated but only needed a clean(ish) room. Bed was ok. Bathroom needs more care.

This was an inexpensive hotel, and it showed. The room was very small and had no fridge or microwave. The AC unit was noisy, and you were either too cold or too warm.

Pet friendly. Liked that cat couldn’t hide out under the beds so I didn’t have to crawl under or remove mattress or box springs to drag her out

Wonderful people own the property, all those they employee are very kind. While nothing is ever perfect in life. Kindness goes a long way these days

Her room is not in very good condition.And the property itself was not very good condition. Disappointing.

There was no breakfast. The pillows were too hard. The coffee in our room was bad. There was a large space on ceiling that was missing the covering. The shower was good, bathroom was ok,

No electric car charger. Reasonably convenient. Staff were lovely.

It had roaches

This is a nice place to stay. It's quiet near restaurants and I love the soft king size beds.

The room was clean . The Tv had Netflix which is a bonus . No bugs . Clean shower and clean towels

Upon arrival after fleeing from hurricane helene the hotel room was crawling with roaches and bugs everywhere. Did not feel safe there as I am pregnant and had to end up leaving at 2 am because of all the roaches. Would not recommend

Elevator was a little scary. Air conditioner was sad. Filter needed cleaned and there was a dirty kleenex shoved in there. It cooled, but didnt seem to take the humidity out of the air. No working refreshment machines.

The property is old and smelled moldy. The room was dark and the tub was stained.

Everything from the check in process forward went very quickly and smoothly

It is easy to get from I-77.

Guy at the desk was great

There are no smoking signs but people smoke right outside their room. The room was dirty. Soap was caked on the shower. Shower was dirty. Walls and doors covered in something. I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to clean it. If it hadn't paid I would have left.

Really convenient location just off of the 40. No frills, just a simple hotel/motel.

Everything was great, my only complaint was that I was refused a receipt for my stay.

Great service and friendly

It was okay for just a night

I have stayed here many times in the past 10 years or so but this trip proved very disappointing. A lot of wear on lamp shades and other areas of room, unclean carpet by night stand, and then, just shortly after settling in for the night, upon turning on the bedside light I witnessed 2 good sized cockroaches on the wall by night stand, and upon looking around, another baby over on TV counter. With that I just couldn't stay my first evening, and I quickly gathered my things and put them in the car. I'm not nervous about bugs in general but I do not want to bring to my home cockroaches so although they offered me another room I just could not stay there comfortably. This was 11:45 at night, I left, and never stayed the night. They refunded the following night, but even though I did not stay the night, and left due to a bug problem they did not have under control, they have refused to refund that night. I was a woman all alone, searching for another hotel at midnight. Several of the clerks I spoke with personally were very kind an apologetic. Even the manager seemed nice enough when I finally got him on the phone because supposedly he was the only one that could approve a refund. He was supposed to look into it and call me back but never did. Even Hotels.com tried to speak with him about this and got nowhere. I am hugely disappointed that they could not see too it too refund me. I will not stay there again for that reason alone and will tell my Statesville family not to.

It was pricy and no refrigerator

I referred my son and his friend to this property and I totally regret it. The area is super sketchy. My son and his friend had just gotten in late and we’re walking across the parking lot and somebody tried to run them over and when he yelled at the guy, The guys buddy yelled something from his hotel room and then pull aside his shirt to expose his GUN asking him if he had a problem. My son turned around and walked directly to the office, but in that second, he could’ve been shot in the back and dead in a hot second. He called the police and the one good thing about the hotel is they had that on camera and the guys happen to be on probation and due to it being on camera, he got arrested. Few days later his dad comes looking for him to help with some work and the hotel room was in his friends name. When his dad gave a description at the front desk, they gave his dad a key to the room without permission and the room wasn’t even in my sons name and the next thing you know the doors open while they’re sleeping early morning and his dad was walking in with a key. So they also give keys to your room without your permission or them, even knowing who the person is. The hotel was registered under a totally unrelated name.

It’s ok if you don’t want breakfast in the am . There is a Burger King next to the property & Chinese Buffet close by

The lady that checked us in was very very nice answered or questions so we could get food and she was an over all wonderful and friendly

Samantha at the front desk was fantastic and supportive to our needs for our two rooms. She even tried to have us change rooms, but none of the rooms we went in were acceptable to stay in.The rooms were dirty and smelly, ceilings had several large places with peeling paint, dirty comforters, dirty bathroom door, and stain on sheet. Therefore, we left as management was not able to offer better accommodations.

I always stay at this hotel on my trips from FL to Pennsylvania. Best hotel for the money in statesville.
