On arrival was greeted friendly. Got straight to room. Was very tired. Room was nice. But had stains on floor. Arrived about 130 am ish due to late flight. So needed some good sleep. Was woken at 745 am by house cleaning and was asked when was I Gona check out so they could clean room. I was furious ! Couldn’t go back to sleep. The towels smelled like bad body odor. Checked out at 11 am and told front desk about my experience. She apologized. I would never stay here again and really was Gona ask for my money back !

I did no get what I paid for. I requested a king size bed accessible room with shower chair and I received a full size bed accessible without the shower chair.

The stay was ok. What bothered me was the fruit flies in the room. The sink drain kept storing water and not draining properly. The floor from the tv to the door kept getting soaked which was very odd especially since no water was dropped on the floor. The entire carpet was soaked with water which could indicate an interior leak from the sink to the pipes underneath. Lastly my room was not room serviced at all during my to days stay.

I want to personally thank the staff and administrators of this establishment. During the Helene hurricane I was working and unsure of what time I would check in or need to check out tje next day. It waa definitely outside the normal hours of 4pm and 10am. They worked with me and my company to accommodate so I could rest well and not have to leave by 10am. Thank you so much for this. Kevin

The hotel is nice and well secured, but the surrounding area is not as nice. The new employee at the front desk (Chris) was very very polite, professional, friendly and helpful. He definitely helped to make my check in and stay very seamless and should be commended for his GREAT attitude and professionalism. He would ask his coworker a question and she would say she didn't know - he actually would go get the info and come back. He went over and beyond to help my check in go smoothly. When my key didn't work on my first try, he even offered to help me take my luggage to my room - 5 star ++++++++ service all around!!!!!

The fact that you have to pay for EVERY single thing is crazy. The fact you have to pay to park every single day is ridiculous. Your paying all this money and can't even get a complimentary breakfast is CRAZY. Definitely my first and last stay at any Sonesta.

Hotel needs to be renovated. Mold everywhere, water damage etc

The biggest issue I had with this hotel is that the phone did not work in either of the two rooms we booked for the night. There was severe static on the line of one, which also went unanswered for several minutes. The other, had the same issue and you had to physically hold the cord in place to keep it connected to the handset.
Another issue was with the towel rod and bracket which disconnected from the wall when it was bumped. The hotel is a bit outdated and in need of refurbishing.
The best I can say is the beds were comfortable with nice pillows and bedding, and they offer a shuttle to/from the airport. With regard to the shuttle, it would be nice if they also picked up from the international terminal. Most international flights are long so the last thing you want to do is wait in line for a shuttle to another part of the airport in order to pick up another shuttle to the hotel.
If I needed to stay at ATL again, I'd look at other properties.

I enjoyed my overnight visit and the friendly front desk staff. I think his name was Rashad. He was more than pleasant. Please keep his gorgeous self on payroll permanently 😂

It was really a pain to make a reservation, to change the reservation, and confirm the changes. The staff was nice, but DON'T make a reservation through a 3rd party, like Expedia. Also, a pain that they will not take cash of any kind, even for candy bar. I won't be staying here any more.

They didn't accept the Orbitz reservations, but they told me I could sleep in the lobby.

While I do think there are some updates needed to the hotel room overall, the hotel was clean. I would also like to recognize the excellent service provided by Elle upon check-in and out. Due to flight cancellations, most incurred a long day, but Elle was very pleasant and welcoming even for those like me who were only at the hotel for about 4-5 hours. Thank you so much again for your pleasant upbeat attitude despite the long line of people.

Our cancelled Delta flight sent us here. Long line with many other stranded fliers, but hotel staff moved us through as quickly and patiently as possible. Only there for a few hours of sleep but seemed clean and nice with the exception of the shower/tub which could have been cleaner.

Great staff. Close to the airport.

I will be contacting this 3rd party because when I called for a shuttle from the actual property site location, the contact stated, "we are overbooked and we do not have any rooms available." I will be seeking a full refund.

Water all over the bathroom floor after checking in. They put on a shower curtain half the breadth of the actual length of the shower. But the carpet was also wet in different places. The whole floor reeked of marijuana. Great breakfast though.

Made a reservation, showed up and they said there were no rooms available, effectively stranding me in Atlanta without a place to stay.

My plane was delayed and needed a place to stay overnight. Reviews seemed nice on this one and boy were they wrong. The lobby was nice but my room?! I was shocked. The carpet at the walls was coming up, baseboards were rotting, and mold was present. Very nasty room, I couldnt believe it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, as it was a late night last-minute booking dealing with the cancellation of my flight. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the property was in great shape. I don’t know when I’ll be back in Atlanta next, but I will definitely Stay here if I am traveling back here

This more likely and issue with Expedia rather than the hotel, I don't know. I booked the room, arrived, then after waiting in line for a good hour at 1am, we were told no rooms were available.
Will I get my money back?

Terribly understaffed to handle influx of travelers when flights were cancelled at airport. This was the 4th day of the crisis. Stood in line 1.5 hours to checkin.

Poor service

The building seemed extremely dated, and smelled like mildew throughout. I saw signs of water leaks that had been painted over. The bathroom had hard water stains, the toilet wobbled, and the faucet was loose. The rooms could use a major upgrade.
The receptionist was extremely professional. She deserves better.

The room I paid for and reserved after a late flight cancellation was not available when I showed up. Staff was very rude and seemed to care less. Ended looking for a room until 2am. And to top it off they still charged me and I have yet to get a refund.

They provided lack of linen. The room and the bathroom are not clean.
