(The Negative)Well the couch was stained and dirty/crumbs under cushions. Hand Prints on the headboard and Male secretions on the bed skirt as well as the couch. Didn’t even sit on it. The shower head was dirty and old.
The microwave was old and rusty inside. No Freezer in the Fridge The Floors was warped .
(The Positive) The Bed was comfortable and The TV was cool.

The room was Okay for the money. The location was very convenient. The pull out sofa bed was horrible, Very uncomfortable.

This is place was a good spot to get away from all the actions. Unfortunately the staff was neutral and they didnt clean my room after a 3 day stay. When I asked if they would clean, no one knew anything about the cleaning schedule. There are multiple shopping stops near the area. I give it a 4 for the overall price which was way cheaper than New York City.

From paint to floors to cleaning the place is an eye soar. The entrance is not welcoming at all the doors are broken and need work and paint

Firstly I informed the hotel on the night of my arrival that due to the time it took for me to get through customs at JFK Airport, I wouldn't be able to attend the hotel until about 7am. It was my first time in New York City and Newark and didn't want to pay for a taxi from New York City to the hotel in Newark, as i was quoted $120 this was at 1:30 am so I had to wait for the next transit bus which left at 6:15 in the morning.
I fininaly arrived at the hotel at 7am and explained what happened at the airport and that I had booked and paid for five nights accommodation not four and wanted to get a refund on an extension of my stay. The receptionist 'Richard' told me to inform the manager whom would be in after nine o'clock that morning !
I was very tired and had jetlag, I slept in all day, the next morning I spoke to the manager and informed her about my situation at the airport and that I would like to get an extension or a refund for the nights accommodation I didn't stay, she said "I can't do anything as it wasn't my fault or the hotels, it was your responsibility to check-in and your booking is non-refundable, if you want to stay longer you are welcome to pay extra" I also asked her is I could get some clean towels and have the room cleaned, but they only service the rooms once every three days !
There is no breakfast option and I found cockroachs in the room and bathroom, to add to all this the coffee machine wasn't working !
Avoided if possible, very unclean and bad!

The location is far away from Newark airport, you have to Uber it to get there. Is sats Newark Liberty Airport but it is not. There is no cleaning room service, only every 4 days, so unless if you are staying more than 4 days you won`t have your room cleaned.

Horrible customer service. Called ahead and requested adjoining rooms which they said wasn’t a problem. Got there and our rooms were at the complete opposite ends of each other and on different floors. Also when I checked in the woman was very rude and tried to tell me we only had one room reserved and that they were completely booked up otherwise. When I showed her my confirmation information she still said that I only had one room and that I would have to call Hotels.com because she couldn’t do anything about it. Then after 10 mins of arguing she finally said that she did have another room but wouldn’t tell me who it was under and I had to guess that it was under my wife’s name. The hotel was old and in disrepair. Gym was closed for repairs, pool was closed for repairs. Probably the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had!! Wouldn’t recommend this for a homeless person even though I am pretty sure there were some unfortunate homeless people that had been stuck here. Definitely look elsewhere if you want to have a nice experience and not treated like a piece of trash.

This place was awful. The shower head in the bathroom was spraying water out of the wall onto the floor when we used it, and there was water stains on the ceiling.

I booked the stay for 2 days from August 3 to Aug 05 via Expedia 3 weeks before my start day. I got the confirmation and the receipt about my hotel booking. When I came and checked in, firstly the receiptionist said to me the room was not available. After that, she said she made it ready. After very long driving hours, I was so happy. The day after that I checked my bank statement and found out the hotel charged me more than the original receipt from expedia for confirmation booking. I went to the receiptionist and clarified immediately. She said they would fix it on the day I checked out. I also called with Expedia agent and told them about my situation. The expedia agent tried to call many times to the hotel but the hotel didn't answer. On the day I checked out, the receiptionist refused to give me the official receipt directly. She said that the hotel would send to my personal email. But so far, 1 week already past I had not received anything. I contacted to Expedia agent and the agent tried to connect to the hotel without success. The hotel always put the call on hold firstly and hang up after that. The hotel even didnot reply multiple email from me and Expedia. As a customer, I have right to get explanation about the increase fee with original receipt. And the most important thing is the hotel have to send me the official receipt with corect amount fee that the hotel charged me in my bank account. From my story, hope another travellers will be aware of this hotel.

There were groups of people who kept us from sleeping, they talked loudly in the hotel hallways, it was quite annoying.The hotel is ugly and dirty but the room was clean and comfortable... It is a hotel only to spend one night maximum

Several dogs barking very loud, broken toilet seat, we found hairs in the bathtub and bed sheets, AC controls did not work, slow TV streaming, bad smells in room (coming from AC) and bathroom (sewer).

I did my checking past midnight. I asked night staff if I could do late checking he was very nice telling me he couldn’t give me an answer that I have to check with next day staff. Next day 1 hr before checking out I called reception and the lady there was rude telling me the hotel don’t allow late check out which I understood and if I choose to stay longer I will lose the 50 dollars deposit. I said that’s fine for me. But later I was call and told that I was not allowed to stay that I had to leave and also that i was not having my money back for not leaving when I was told. This all happened somewhere before even 11am because at such a bad treatment of the front desk and management I decided even to leave and not stay longer as was my intention. My phone stayed in the room and when I asked to go inside for it the manager in agresive way told me I was not alowed to go inside no more. I leave also some shower gels and parfums but with that way I really was scared of him at that point. The money was never refunded to me. Never again I plan to visit one of this brand hotels. I was just just staying for a flight change but horror of customer service and management way to try a client. Also there were people outside having drinks and smoking marihuana on the parking and in the front. And a lot of drunk people doing noise coming out of the restaurant or bar that is in the left side inside the lobby. And by the way isn’t even near from the airport like in the ads. 15 min away drivin

for the most part room was cleanly. I always tidy up and tie up garbage bags before I leave. I was very disgusted with how dirty and gross the insides of the garbage cans were. Also the lamp base on the nightstand between the beds needed better cleaning. I was a former housekeeper and I know how hard it is to get rooms done and clean on a crunch schedule. But the attention to details means everything to the customer.

The shower did not drain thought.I was swimming taking a shower told housekeeping that the water stood all over the floor did nothing. Had to use all the towels, hand towels, and wash clothes to get water up. Front ask offer me a mop to clean it myself. Which i did not. Gave me 2 more towels to get water up. Ask to check out at 12. They told me no. And if i was in the room at 11:30 I will be charged half day and if still there at 12 I will be charged a whole day. Very bad experience. Will never stay again. Spoke to 2 other people and 1 said they had the same water issue in the shower. And the other said thry just had a bad experience all together. They definitely lost me a a Customer and they definitely need to do better.

This was a totally fine place to stay.
Pros:
- Well-lit outside with a good amount of parking
- Right near the highway/convenient
- Area felt plenty safe (is mostly highway and not much else around)
- Friendly staff
- Room was in pretty good shape, even cosmetically
- Air conditioning worked well
- Bed was clean
- Not very noisy/couldn't hear my neighbors
Cons:
- Room wasn't exactly clean but nothing that bothered me too much-- Crumbs still on the floor, desk chair in the room kinda gross, tub not really clean. Sounds worse than it was.
- Bathroom was a little more rough cosmetically, but functional
- I had a room with a jetted tub and it mostly worked, but seemed like some of the jets were struggling and spurting
- Since you're right by the highway there can be road noise, though this didn't bother me
Overall, I would stay again if it was convenient for me.
