Located just off the main road on the way to the park. Functional clean rooms with only the basics. Shops a short walk away. You can ask them to show you the famous gap in the fence that lets you walk straight through to the shops and restaurants. The bed was OK. The water hot. At the entrance there is a desk. The lady there gives advice and directions for the tourists. She was really good and helpful and patient. She will suggest things you did not even know to ask about. Navigating the park once you are inside is complicated. Get to the party as soon as it opens if you are in summer. In summer, the line to the park can reach 2 hours.

Everything was okay

It was a great hotel just at the entrance of the Grand Canyon. It had a restaurant and bar. The room was clean.

Excellent guest service and money value.

Stayed 1 night. It was great.
4.0
This is more of a motel than a hotel since the rooms are all outside entrance.
4.0
The hot tub was closed for cleaning the entire time. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The middle area looked like it was meant for a buffet but seemed to be seasonable. Loud music in the evening until 9 so if you want to sleep early expect that.

Very convenient location and budget friendly stay right outside the Grand Canyon. Had everything we needed, and the suite was spacious for our family of 3.

Nice hotel for the price. Didn’t like that the bottom sheet was a flat sheet that didn’t stay tucked in. Also weird that the plugs were across the room and not near the bed. Nice room otherwise. Had a microwave and frig. Roomy bed comfortable.

Everything was good. We had no issues. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly.

Very nice hotel with good food and only 7 miles from the enterance to Grand Canyon park. Only issue was ac dropped at night and the hotel staff was notified. We only stayed 2 nights

We really appreciated the proximity to Grand Canyon Nat'l Park.
Provided us with night views and village experiences.

A very nice hotel!

We had reservations at Yavapai Lodge inside the park. Our reservations were canceled when we were en route to the park because of a water main break. I am so grateful that Grand Canyon Plaza hotel was able to give us a room. So grateful!

I do not think the value was equal to the peice I paid for this room. But I needed a room to rest.

Amazing experience. All about my stay was wondering. Tbe staff in that hotel are the best. Couldn't be happier

Reasonably spacious motel room. The king bed was comfortable, and the sofa bed, used by our son, was in the separate lounge area and easy to pull out. Very quiet location next to the Grand Canyon tourist centre. Warm outdoor pool and hot tub. Recommend Big E restaurant across the road for dinner.

beds are full size so very small for two people. room was ok. pretty basic. parking was quite a challenge

This hotel was quite nice. Conveniently located for us, going to the Grand Canyon, easy to access, clean and comfortable rooms, hot tub in the premises, and a decent buffet/restaurant. Everything is pricey in this area so just plan for it.
There are a few restaurants within walking and driving distance.
Overall, a nice stay.

Rooms were excellent. They were totally cleaned and restocked each day. The main restaurant was very good. All and all a first-class hotel.

Great hotel with great pool!

This hotel is in a great location for visiting the park. Our room was perfect, especially for traveling with a small dog. There was a nice restaurant, where we had breakfast (not free) and a great saloon with dinner options. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Room was great. We didn’t expect a suite and it was very nice. Room exceeded our expectations.

Stayed one night due to Grand Canyon hotels being closed, so rooms were higher priced than expected. Rooms were comfortable, bathrooms clean, staff friendly but restaurant was a little pricey for dinner and breakfast.
4.0
The most uncomfortable bed I have EVER encountered, equivalent to a half blown up air bed. The mattress must be at least 30 years old, it dipped in the middle which meant the whole night my husband and I kept rolling into the middle. In the end he got out and slept on the spare bed (which was exactly the same). If you're just looking for a place to rest whilst exploring the Grand Canyon, I'd suggest looking elsewhere because we did NOT feel rested which kind of ruined our whole experience. We were also informed that the hotel was sold out upon checking in so we weren't able to switch. The whole hotel could do with some updating, starting with the beds!

Smelled weird from the pool inside. Drain in shower had that reddish mold

Decent hotel. Not spectacular, but a good choice if your objective is to spend your days hiking Grand Canyon and having a hotel room just for spending a night.

I liked how close that the IMAX Theatre was close.
6.0
We stayed in one of the suites, and the space was good, with a convenient location close to the Grand Canyon and IMAX. However, the breakfast buffet was disappointing—very limited options, and the food wasn't fresh. The pancakes were hard and sticky, so we ended up just having coffee with a pastry that was barely edible. The mattresses were also too soft, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Overall, not the best experience.

Ideal place to stay when you visit Grand Canyon. The price is very reasonable. Staffs are friendly and available 24/7.

Very close to the Canyon -- excellent price for the room and the convenience to shopping and other amenities. We'd stay there again!
