A lovely hotel, had an overnight stay only, I would come back for a longer stay.

Despite our room being a little late in being ready, the hotel was perfect for our needs. A very clean and well maintained pool, clwan and comfortable rooms, delicious food and very friendly and accommodating staff. Its perfectly located for relaxation but close enough to venture into Galway City centre. Bus 409 cost €5.60 for a family of 4 into the city and the pick up is a few hundred yards from the hotel with the drop off practically at the hotel entrance. Will we return? Absolutely. It'll now be our go to Galway hotel.

It was a last minute decision to stay but the staff at reception (Caitriona) was excellent. So friendly , humorous and very efficient. She's a keeper! As was the host for dinner and the bar staff afterwards, all courteous and efficient.. Great staff I have to stay. Food ( lamb) was top class. Room was lovely and comfortable an d a great rate for a last minute booking.. Excellent all around.

good stay. a little far of a walk to Galway city centre so we took a taxi which was inexpensive. lots of parking if you are driving in. a little noisy but lots of people there for a wedding. breakfast was good so purchase that for sure

309 euro for a room that was barely a 3 star,.
room didnt have soap / body wash.

The property is old and certainly not environmentally friendly. The washroom could use upgrades to the flushing system to save water. Overall room was larger than other hotel we stayed in Ireland. The hotel is a bit far from downtown area

Very nice hotel - very comfortable and has been recently refurbished. Great welcome from the staff. Location is not ideal for the city and it takes about 30 minutes to walk in but is on a decent bus route.

The property was nicely maintained and the restaurant had good quality food. The staff were very helpful.

Great hotel , a bit out of town but perfect base for exploring the beautiful Galway coast .
Staff brilliant , rooms clean and comfortable. If you need a cab into town they are plentiful and arrive within minutes .

I didn’t like having to wait for 30mins post arrival for the room to be ready and the lack of consideration as to how we might fill that time. However, I did like the room, beds comfortable, bathroom lovely, spotlessly clean. The restaurant was lovely although chairs could be more comfy, food and service both excellent. The leisure club was also brilliant, only niggle there was the lockers not having functioning locks. Overall absolutely gorgeous hotel and really lovely stay.

Great location in pretty seaside town. Room very clean and spacious. Biggest drawback is there’s no parking for checkin or dropping off your luggage. They put picnic tables on the parking spots in front of the hotel where one would normally park to check in. This made for a very stressful checkin as their was no parking anywhere near the hotel.

The hotel was a little out of town but on the town bus line - 5mins in and very affordable- 2 euros each way. The facilities including restaurants and bar were so welcoming.
There was plenty of parking included. Cost was reasonable.

Very spacious hotel. About 30 minute walk to the city center. We booked for pool but later realized you had to purchase swim hats so we did not swim. I liked that they had a coffee station in lobby where we could buy pastries and coffee. The lobby was nice and spacious. Quite a large hotel.

Check in is 3:30 but our room wasn’t ready til 3:55pm .. room was spotless clean and the bunk beds were a big hit but for a family room we had no WiFi.. kids not impressed! Rang reception and they gave me the corporate WiFi code but connection would cut out after 5 seconds .. no phone service either in our room .. room 1096.. seemed to be a black hole for any sort of reception ! Pool closes at 7 for kids so something to be aware of .. only a 3 hour window between us getting our room and having to exit pool .. kids were hungry in between so they didn’t get much time in pool .. again in morn rushed from breakfast to pool and check out is 11:30am . Seemed to have a nice kids club and we ate in the restaurant and food was nice

Little bit out of the downtown area of Galway but super convenient if you had a car (as we did). Cute and clean room. Facility is not brand new or modern but everything was great for my teen daughter and I.

Lovely hotel, super easy and quick to get the bus into Galway town centre. Lots of free parking. Incredible gym, 25 m pool (30 degrees so too warm for me) steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Only downs were I struggled with the water temperature on the shower and didn’t love the coffee with breakfast.

Stayed for one night end of June - Great hotel for family - short walk into city, great staff and fantastic entertainment on Saturday night! Great buzz in hotel due to a kids football tournament staying which added to the atmosphere..Can’t comment on food as we didn’t eat in.

I stayed 5 nights here in an adjoining room with my 3 kids. The beds were very comfortable and I liked how there were various pillow options. The daily room refresh was lovely and my kids LOVED their pool (it was super warm - the only pool my 8 month old has liked so far). It was also so nice they had a laundry room on site (just bring your room key and your own detergent). There were two washers and two dryers. We had already been traveling for two weeks upon our arrival so it was really nice being able to run two loads of laundry! The laundry room is a bit hard to locate but an extremely kind staff member walked us all the way to the “d wing” and showed us how to fine it.
The breakfast is okay - not the best food but not bad. The service was prompt though.
Our dinner there I had the baked cod and it was phenomenal. My sons ordered the burger and chicken goujons and both kids’ meals were left wanting (just not great quality or great tasting).
The hotel is 7-10 mins from downtown and I could always find a parking spot. Very easy spot to get to places around Galway.

It was very hot in the bedroom and not able sleep because of this.

Good place to stay in Galway. Very friendly staff. You will need to drive or take a bus into Eyre Square where the action is. We are glad we stayed.

Nice hotel, a little loud at night with the bands right by check in, but it was a good hotel

A short but a most relaxing break in this beautiful hotel. Incredibly staff, friendly and efficient.

Room was overly hot and even with window opened, meant an unpleasant sleeping condition. Turns out they had the hear on :( A fan was requested and did not receive it

This hotel was ok. It’s old and comfy but it was warm in the room and halls. My biggest complaint about this hotel is the lack of a working laundry facility. I kept being told there were two, one on the 2nd floor and one on the 3rd. There wasn’t one on the 2nd and there was a sign indicating it had moved to the 3rd. After a wash, I spent three hours trying to dry clothes in a dryer that didn’t work. They had two washers and two dryers but neither dryer worked (several people also tried) so my room was scattered with wet clothes overnight. I wouldn’t advise being around the hotel on Saturday when they hold communion parties. There were screaming kids running around everywhere.

Overall, the hotel was very nice. We had a great interaction with Carolina (I think this was her name) upon arrival and she was very welcoming and gave us the run down on what pubs to go to etc. We followed her recommendations and had a great night out! The rooms were decently spacious and we found the beds super cozy!
The only inconvenience that we found was the rug throughout majority of the hotel (made it difficult to roll pretty heavy suitcases; we didn’t see a suitcase dolly available).

Hotel was bright and clean, family room was perfect! Breakfast was good - would be good to offer pancakes for younger children as they found it hard to find something - good for adults
Location is excellent and near bus stops.
