There was damage to the room when we arrived. The water had temperature regulation problems (sink was permanently cold, shower was more hot, almost scalding, than cold). The front desk clerk that checked us in seemed half asleep and didn't provide all of the information we needed and I only found out when I went back and had to wait in a line 4 people deep to ask for a bottle of water (because their self serve was out) the breakfast and check out hours and options for check out. The bed was comfortable and it was affordable for a stop along our way but that's about the only positive I can provide for this location.

Awesome place to stay with your dog. It was huge so I felt like I was the only person on the 3rd floor!
My one complaint is my key didnt respond to my door twice. I had to walk to the main office with my dog, one at 5am when i took her out, and it was freezing and unexpected cardio too early to walk all that way.
Other than that, would totally stay again

We found pubic hair all over the bathroom. Smelled of smoked.

Paid extra for a king bed and got a room with 2 double beds instead for the same price.

There were corners in the room that had not been cleaned in awhile - like next to the table and the corners of the bathroom.

Everything has been very nice. The check-in went well. The room is comfortable and plenty of room. The location is very central.

IT TOOK CLOSE TO AN HOUR TO GET SOMEONE TO THE FRONT DESK. THE PERSON WHO FINALLY SHOWED UP WAS UNKEPT AND NEEDED A SHOWER BADLY. THE LOBBY LOOKED HORRIBLE. THE ROOM HAD BEEN REMODELED SO IT WAS ACCEPTABLE.BUT TO US, IT LOOKED RATHER SCARY AROUND THE GROUNDS AND MANY PEOPLE WERE OUTSIDE SMOKING AND SCARY LOOKING.

Andrew at the front desk is a stud. If you are lucky enough to stay here, hopefully you’ll get a chance to meet him.

Clean and quiet room convenient to Santa Fe Community College. Reasonably priced!

The only problem was the light between the beds had a broken plug in and didn’t work.

You have this HUGE hotel with a tiny breakfast area! Don’t even bother offering breakfast. My bill was $149ish. Which I willingly paid. Older hotel with weird shower handles.

Nice room for a great price, bed was comfortable. Internet service was hit and miss throughout the stay. Room was clean, but the chairs and sofa could use a good steam clean.

Bathroom light did not work. Stains on sheets. Keys did not work. Cigarette butts all over grounds. Workers smoking next to room. No coffee at breakfast. No room cleanup after first day. Flies and Bugs in Room. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

This property is very poor for the room rate being charged.
Upon my check-in, which went fine, I went to my room to find THREE, separate issues with components that are basic to the room’s functionality. First off, the air/heat unit would not respond when I operated the touch pad. Only after I reset the built-in breaker on the power cord, was I able to engage the cooling unit. That stated, the next day when the room was comfortable and required no A/C, I was totally unable to turn off the machine. The touch pad did not respond to my engaging the “off” switch.
Now if that is not enough, it gets worse by some. Go back to my first few minutes in the room up one check-in, and after wrestling with the heat/cool unit I went to the mini-fridge to place some water and food items that I needed to keep cool. Upon opening the small fridge, I could easily discern that the unit was not functioning. I moved the selection dial to “coldest”, and still the unit did not engage. When I examined the back of the fridge unit, I discovered that neither it nor the microwave were EVEN PLUGGED IN. I moved the credenza forward, that has the flat screen and a lamp on it, only to find that a single electric wall source (with two plug-in points) was all that existed. The TV united was plowed into one outlet and the lamp into the other. I unplugged the lamp and plugged in the refrigerator, and voila, I had solved the problem!
There is much more, but I am out of characters here.

Construction was going on around the hotel and it was an older property. The entrance to room is from the outside like an older motel and not a hotel.

Usually like La Quinta. This time we were shocked. Floor dirty, one headboard light out, the other had the bulb socket hanging loose by the wires. TV would not stay off (had to unplug). Desk power outlets did not work at all and were too loose to hold plugs. Breakfast was very poorly supplied.

Very unfriendly staff. Told the guy they room he gave us was closed due to remodeling on that side of their hotel. I said he did know what i was talking abouthe was aware of any construction going on. Had to do this twice with him. The next morning the front girl was arguing with a customer and being sarcastic with him.

Check in was terrible. Mixed up the rooms with the people I was traveling with. We have different last names. She assigned my room to them and their room to me. No fridge or microwave in my room. Room has strange odor to it. Wasn’t informed about breakfast times or pool times. Restroom in main lobby didn’t have toilet paper, had to tell the front desk staff three times. Still wasn’t replenished so had to go back to our room.

Liked the location. Didn’t like that there was a hair on restroom counter and water didn’t want to go down either on the sink

When we checked in there were lots of fleas in the room (seemed like fruit flies). The sink was clogging. We asked for house keeping for next day morning and they said they would take care of it but did not. We returned to a dirty room again that night. The next day they sent house keeping and maintenance but the sink was still clogged, the dead fleas were still not cleaned out and there were still fleas flying around and the carpet was not vacuumed (still dirty). This should be removed from Expedia’s list of hotels. I have never had such bad experience at a hotel booked via Expedia before

The rooms were nice but the beds were a bit to small. The work being done around the property a bit of an inconvenience but not unbearable. We enjoyed our stay and hope to secure a room again next year.

The room was clean. However, another guest was given a key to my room and as i was trying to relax in the room, the person opened the front door. Fortunately i had the security chain so he couldn't open it completely. I tried calling the front office and was put on hold for an extended period of time that i hung up. After that i was afraid to leave my room, fearing that someone would go in and take my belongings and also that i wouldn't be able to re-enter my room. Very uneasy feeling and experience.
