Not so good! The hotel’s computer system was not working and I was asked to go for dinner and come back later! It was late, I had no reservation, and was tired. I then booked an online reservation with Hotels.com, confusing this quote with the Zen hotels.com quote of CAD$34 cheaper!
Went to bed, and had to listen to the metallic ‘ker-think’ of the entrance/exit door at least 100 times between midnight and 03:00am. Ended up stuffing a towel under my door to help muffle the sound. Woke up and went down for breakfast where the staff were too busy discussing Thanksgiving turkeys and trips to the local Dollar Store rather than replenish the breakfast counter. Breakfast options were pathetic - 5 packets of butter for the 4 people there. I emptied the juice jug and it never was refilled! Sparse choices and pickings - toast and cereal - the worst I ever experienced! Then contacted Hotels.com about a price match and they advised me that I did not qualify because I had no reservation more than 24 hours prior to arrival! Prejudicial or what? I asked for flexibility in their policies (like Air BnB shows - they credit my Mastercard in events such as this) but haven’t heard back. Hope to get the price difference refunded or credited to my account so I can remain a loyal customer of hotels.com.. Bryan

The stay was very good. They are in the middle of renovation so reception area was a little disarray.

We booked, and then showed up for them to say they dont have a room ready. Why can you book a room that isn't even available?
Imagine you were internationally visiting and they did that? What would you do? Luckily im still in NB but I literally drove 2 hours home after PAYING for this “hotel”
Best of all? They charged us for a room they said didnt exist!!!!

Fine for a night sleep. Under construction, poor wifi, no tv remote batteries, but everything else was adequate.

Looked like they were doing repairs in the lobby. Property is old and area surrounding is more industrial. Room was clean and comfortable.

Our firth impressions of the hotel were not good. The front window was boarded up and driving instructions were spray painted on the front. The hotel was actually very clean and friendly, but first impressions matter.

Super comfy beds and great staff service. We had a small bathroom issue at 10:00pm and they came quickly to help resolve and even offered us a new room (which we did not take!). I would stay again.

The heat didn’t work in my room. I asked the front desk to fix it and I was told to turn it off and wait an hour and turn it back on. Of course that didn’t work. I finally decided to open it up myself to see what was wrong. The filter was clogged and very dirty. I asked the front desk for some type of accommodations ( I booked about 10 rooms due to a Judo event). And was told nothing they could do Because it was booked through Expedia. I would not stay at this hotel. I also found a piece hot Rod pepperoni on the floor and a spider in the bathroom. I wasn’t expecting a lot due to the price but I definitely thought I would have heat. I would not complain if they had of said. I’m so sorry maybe I can give you a free room next time you are in town. Nope all I received was nope can’t give you anything. I’m just doing my job.

The property could have been a little bit cleaner. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. I am not sure why there's a tourism levy of $4.20. We are taxed and levied to death in this country! Trudeau and his lot need to "hang out" at an Esso Station like Mussolini did some years ago.

I found a crack pipe. And didnt even get my room free for such an inconvenience

We were very satisfied except for the fact that there was no breakfast available . We thought it was part of the deal and coffee is not enough for an early start to the ferry.

Reminded me of older hotels/motels
only issue was the overgrown fenced off field with a bunch of construction equipment right next door to it, which was a bit of an eye sore, besides that, clean facility, clean rooms and good staffing

The A.C. didnt work. A large dog was barking upstairs that kept our baby awake.

There was what looked like hair shavings all around the room. Hair in the tub all over the sink, carpets could’ve been vacuumed better and poor lighting in the room other than that it was an okay stay

The gentleman who checked me in late around 23:00 was chatty and very friendly. Normally checking in late you don't often get the friendly staff.
The area was near the highway so easy on and off but was quiet and could not hear it in background.
There are quite a few restaurants and shops within a few km which is a bonus too.
I would stay here again.

The location was terrific for getting off the ferry from Digby. The check in was efficient and friendly. The price was fine. It was easy to unload from our vehicle into the room on the first floor, after we checked in through the hotel. The shower water was hot and strong. The bed was comfortable. The couch was comfortable and an added bonus. Check out was simple. We were on the road to Quebec with no fuss.

Didn't loke that there was no elevator as my husband has the onset of Parkinson disease. Next time I'll request a ground floor room.

There was a problem with 2 other guests that prevented us from sleeping, it was reported to the staff but little was done to correct the issue

A good deal for the price.
