Convenient location, kids loved the pool and hot tub and nice room in general. Unfortunately the bathroom.sensor light that never turned off and the fluke that wasn't opened properly made for some difficult nights' sleep.

The rooms were nicely remodeled. The room decor suited to quaint Sonoma charm. The courtyard with the and pool and hot tub area was nice. Breakfast was lacking.

We love staying at this hotel when we visit Sonoma. Great location to wineries and walking distance to many eating establishments. We enjoy having a patio to enjoy, and the breakfast is always delicious.

This is a very convenient recently renovated Best Western in downtown Sonoma. Walking distance to Plaza and many tasting rooms as well as fine restaurants. Very clean and surprisingly quiet after 9P

The Sonoma Valley Inn is a great, well-kept property with spacious , comfortable rooms. The location is a short walking distance from tasting rooms, restaurants, and shopping, yet it is so quiet here. Lovely.

The most updated, high quality designed Best Western I have seen. It had beautiful paving stone corridors, wood floors, lovely interior decor AND a live (presto log) fireplace.

Room was great, really big. They held our bags for us both coming and going. My only issue with this hotel was that it was noisy. There wasn't any sound deadening from one floor to the next or from outside noises. Otherwise, it was great
5.0
Nice and clean room. The air conditioning system was noisy, we had to turn it off in the middle of the night becuse of the noise. The hotel is located two blocks from Sonoma Plaza where all the restaurants and many tasting rooms are located.

Really nice room good amenities and pool

The person at the desk was not very friendly. The room was fine and was very clean, but the shower had no hot water.

Great location, easy check in, comfortable room, friendly staff.

We reserved a king suite and were given a room with two queen beds. I requested an ADA compliant room from the property and had a room with no handrails in the bathroom or shower. There were also rugs on the floor that were a definite tripping hazard. The person at the desk was rude when I called and requested an ADA compliant room. We were locked out of our room the second day, because the person who checked us in had us staying one night while our reservation was for two nights. We were billed for the second night even though I had a receipt showing the two nights were paid in full. The person at the desk said that they are not responsible for reservations or payments that are made through a third party such as Hotels.com and do not necessarily provide the room type made through a third party.

Really pleased with our stay at this quiet comfortable hotel. Good facilities - pool and spa - Sonoma is a fab little town so many places to eat and perfect launch pad for wine tasting.

Enjoyed our stay- good location and clean, comfortable rooms.

It was very close to the town square, Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment. Cute coffee shop next Door.

The remodeled rooms are great and the location with its walkability to Sonoma Plaza was perfect. Office also has been remodeled and updated nicely, with beer service a plus.
Staff at front desk aren't very personable or friendly, in fact they came across to several of our group as being rude. We had a large party of 11 adults (40 in age), rented 6 rooms for 2 nights. Older gentleman and older woman need to be trained on their customer service skills.

Breakfast is prepackaged microwave burritos- not “full breakfast”. The pool was closed, which was not disclosed prior to booking. But the worst issue was the front desk staff. They were rude and unhelpful. We were referred by a local winery and reported back.

The room we stayed in was amazing! It was large and spacious and the beds were very comfortable

The A/C unit rattled all night long. It's a nice place but needs some updates.

Fabulous. Could not have been better.

Spacious, quiet and comfortable room with access to a nice pool and courtyard. Walkable to town, including nearby restaurants and wineries. Breakfast was so-so, but convenient as a grab-and-go option

Great location, and beautiful property!

Very clean facility and in the heart of the Napa Valley. Service was professional and curteous. I'll definitely stay there the next time I go to the Napa Valley

Great location just off central square in downtown Sonoma. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Grocery store across the street was convenient.

No pool or spa open. No prior notice was given and no discount offered.

Where shall I start. From checking in finding the pool and courtyard area shut off was a disappointment. No communication was given to this at all. Parking fee was $5 a day which is reasonable, but with no pool service I think this should have been waived. Then the breakfast!! How this hotel can say it serves breakfast is a joke. The noise from outside the hotel was like being at Daytona. Trucks from 3am. From our 3 week roadtrip, this is far the worst ever hotel we have stayed in.

Reasonably priced at a desirable location.

The property is clean and well-located, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and groceries. Our only complaint was that the pool and hot tub were closed. We booked this place because it was reasonably priced and had a hot tub. We were disappointed to find out that the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance during our stay, which was not disclosed on Expedia or their website when we booked. Additionally, their server was down, and we had to wait 1.5 hours to check in.

When we got to hotel they said pool was closed for the month, I actually called in advance they said all construction was finished. Otherwise we would’ve stayed some where else. No pool, no bar, no vending no ice machine until our last day there. No room phone breakfast consisted of frozen burritos & muffins. So we didn’t get anything that was stated. Plus they charged us for parking which was in the hotel parking ridiculous!!

Great rooms but the pool and courtyard were under construction

Close to downtown square with multiple shops and dining.
There is a Whole Foods right across the street

I came for the pool and it was closed.

The attention to detail is impeccable. For a motel style accommodation, they gave us more than we expected. The bed/bedding

The staff were very helpful. Impressive service. Will be back. Clean environment.

Convenient location close to restaurants and shops and center of Sonoma, yet very reasonable cost. Room was good size, very comfortable with all basic amenities one needs. Easy to take the dog for a walk. Check in and out was fast. Good breakfast.

Clean property, friendly staff, and walking distance to town and restaurants.

Beautiful clean room, super helpful front desk gal checked us in. Work was being done on the walkways so we were unable to have the suite we reserved. We did receive a credit, but still disappointing. Ice machine broken, hot tub out of order, floor lamp did not work, water doesn’t get hot enough in the shower. Skip the free “breakfast” and GO OUT to breakfast. Really nice staff but would upgrade to a different place next time.
