Staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. The room layout was ridiculous. There was no separation between the shower and the rest of bathroom no Curtin or floor step. When you shower the entire bathroom gets soaked. The only counter space in the room was 12 inches wide, not enough space for much of anything. The room was not small it was large, just open wasted space. The room lighting and the entire building is DARK. The room lights are orange yellow. The elevator light has a 3 second timer that shuts off when you get inside. All in all the place is clean, but poortly layed out.

Wonderful stay, location brilliant - we parked on street for free day and night (do check not blocking doors or in yellow markings); from hotel to Acropolis ticket office 10 mins (and we aren’t fit); can walk to Plaka and Monsiraki square in 15-20 mins (get e-scooters if you can and much easier). Service was excellent, view from roof terrace is worth the fee alone, breakfast was fantastic - very good selection and good quality (feta or feta in filo pastry with honey is a winner). Hotel peaceful at night and right on edge of the park. Would stay here anytime I was in Athens.

Comfortable hotel, quiet, good location, great hot shower.
One suggestion to management: couple of tiles in bathroom need fixed where there have been chages.
4.4
Nice night time view of the Acropolis! Aircon was very quiet and felt cool every time! Breakfast was good enough. Would have been better with more meat selection though.. but no complaints.
4.4
The staff is extremely helpful to all their guests.

Great property, 5 minute walk to acropolis, awesome restaurants 3 minute walk. However don’t drink so much at dinner 63 steps coming back up to the hotel lol. Awesome place to stay, safe area. Showers are a little tight.

My review is a little jaded because I only found myself here when my flight out of Athens was cancelled and I could not find many places to stay. I definitely booked their last available and worst room. But, their worst and darkest room still gets four stars. Which bodes well. Otherwise, the pool is small and great for shade worshipers since it is in a completely enclosed courtyard.
The location and views are amazing! If you don’t mind walking up down hills, this might be the hotel for you!

All good.

Friendly checkin, comfortable stay. We arrived late and only stayed one night so didn’t have a chance to try the pool.
4.4
really lovely staff, a unique place to experience Athens, kept getting lost trying to get back to the hotel
4.4
Very close to the acropolis, close to public transit, very nice place with lots of restaurants close by.
4.4
Fantastic location, awesome views of the city and Acropolis from the roof, and extremely friendly staff. The rooms were also very clean and the breakfast was very good.

Great experience!
4.4
Property is older and in need of some refresh. Location is close to the Acropolis as well as a hop on hop off bus stop. It it is about a 20-30 Euro cab ride from the port and about 45-50 Euro from the airport. The selection of resturants close to the hotel is limited and some a bit pricey. The staff is very friendly and professional!
4.4
Amazing location, 6 minute walk to acropolis. 8 minutes to all the dining. Great
4.4
The hotel was within walking distance to the Acropolis and shopping it is in a great location
4.4
Close to Acropolis and other areas without the crowds. Lovely rooftop area to sit and have a drink. Pleasant and helpful staff.

As an American from Texas (where everything’s bigger) we weren’t ready for the teeny, tiny elevator, but it simply added to the uniqueness of the experience. This was a boutique hotel in every sense of the word. We enjoyed the quiet charm and amazing view of the Acropolis (from our balcony). If we’re ever in Athens again, we’d stay here!
4.4
The Staff was wonderful & the Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was quiet. Bathroom in room did not give any privacy. Room needed a bit of updating.
4.4
Close to the shopping market and parthenon. In an eclectic area with lots of boutique stores. Tight rooms but overall a good place. Views are brearthtaking

Hotel was in prime location for the Acropolis (10min walk).
Room was comfortable with a balcony that could see the Acropolis at an angle.
The roof terrace was a nice touch and gave great views. The pool looks a decent size, although didn't use it.
Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty.
Staff friendly and helpful.
For eating out would recommend heading towards the Acropolis Museum, following the predestined route around the hill.

This hotel is an absolute hidden gem in Athens! It's within walkable distance to the Acropolis Hill, yet it is in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle bustle of the big city. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Acropolis Hill and sunrise from the communal balcony. Staff are very friendly, efficient and helpful. Our room was comfy and cosy. The housekeeping service was good. All in all, this hotel was absolutely great!

The location of Acropolis Hill Hotel was perfect! We loved being able to walk to key sites in Athens (highly recommend the GetYourGuide Athens Archaeological Sites Combo Ticket) & many nearby restaurants (recommendations include Greek Stories, Grandpa Trattoria & Kalamaki Bar). The breakfast downstairs at the hotel was also amazing! So many options & all delicious!
While it was great being able to walk everywhere, it stands to note that, as the name says, it's on a hill. Lots of steps and steep streets, so bring your walking shoes! It's very walkable in terms of distance, not so much in ease.
Taxis were readily available through Uber. We met our driver, Christos, through Uber (ctzikos at gmail - tell him Rossanna sent you!) and ended up sticking with him through our trip. He was very friendly, welcoming, reliable, and for a flat rate rate of 40€ to/from the airport, can't be beat!
Our room was comfy & clean, though there were little bugs that would get in somehow, which was annoying, but not unbearable (we just had to smush a few each day). The front desk staff was nice overall, though not all of them were super welcoming. I mention this to be transparent, but these slight negatives didn't impact our overall trip, and we still enjoyed our stay here!
Overall, we had a wonderful time in Greece & recommend Acropolis Hill Hotel due to its amazing location & delicious breakfast!

Overall excellent hotel, with beautiful rooftop patio.
Great location and service.
Amazing shower!! :-)
Wonderful breakfast selection
Definite recommendation!

Beautiful place, very clean, beautiful location and friendly staff! Highly recommended!!

Overall my stay was great. The area is quite and only a 15 minute walk to the main attractions or transit. As a solo traveler the area around the hotel was very safe. The rooms are on the tiny side but very clean and the internet signal and connectivity was great throughout the hotel.
The bed was super comfortable, the mini fridge was convenient to have and the views from the room and guest deck were amazing. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
The only things that could be improved is putting some lounge chairs up on the guest deck so that people can suntan or relax, especially since the pool is in the shade all day. A heated spimming pool would have been nice too. Other than that the breakfast buffet could have had more fresh fruit options, but it was well stocked with several other breakfast options.

I really enjoyed my time here, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room had a lovely view with comfortable beds. The rooftop view was amazing 10/10

The hotel was okay. the worst thing about it was the bathroom. You have to walk through the shower to the toilet and the shower curtain isn't hung so that it keeps water off the toilet and toilet paper. Everything got soaked! the was small, which I expected, but also very hard and uncomfortable. The patio on the fifth floor was very nice and had a good view of the Acropolis and Parthenon. The pool was good, except there were no handrails and I found it hard to get out. The staff was very helpful and arranged a taxi who accepted credit cards to take us to the cruise port. Breakfast was so-so.
4.4
This hotel was very close to Acropolis easy to get to every thing we wanted to do. Everyone at hotel very nice and helpful!
4.4
Nice, pool closed early and was cold but breakfast was good and the rooms were clean
4.4
This hotel is convenient for walking to the Acropolis, museum and restaurants in the area, although there is a climb which some may find taxing. Beautiful view of the Parthenon from our balcony.
Reception friendly and very helpful, particularly arranging taxis as taxi fares in Athens vary considerably. Good assortment for breakfast. The hotel has a small pool but its location means that it doesn't get much sun, so can be a little cool. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Athens.
4.4
A bit far from the center plus on hill
4.4
Very accommodating and friendly staff, spotlessly clean and comfortable room but a little “compact”.. Good variety at the included breakfast. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to the Acropolis and surrounded by many small bars & restaurants… Would happily stay here again in future..
4.4
Only stayed one night. It could have been a littler cleaner, the location is nice and everything is walkable.
4.4
Staff were very accommodating to secure my luggage due to my early arrival
4.4
Beautiful boutique hotel. Clean, modern and great view of the Acropolis. Convenient location and walking 9min walking distance to shops and sight seeing.
4.4
We had a nice stay. Pool was great. Breakfast each morning was really nice. Lots of choices. Rooms are very spacious and our shower was enormous. We never did get our room safe working. I asked at the front desk and he said he would fix it but never did. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel.
4.4
We had a blast at the Acropolis Hill, 2 blocks away from the Acropolis entrance, tour bus stop and many stores and restaurants. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they even order delivery food for us one night.
You can enjoy the view at their terrace, so peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was included and it has a variety of options and good enough to start our day.
4.4
Great location. Nice breakfast. Quiet and comfortable. Super friendly staff. Transport to and from hotel arranged by hotel was brilliant. Peter was more like a tour guide. We were delayed arriving and everyone was super accommodating. Highly recommend hotel and transport to/from airport😁
4.4
We wanted a location near the Acropolis along with a view of the Parthenon from a balcony room. That’s what we got. Lovely place with many restaurants nearby and walking distance to the Museum.
