We just got back from a long weekend. The hotel was kind of noisy due to kids running around who were staying for various sporting events. Having been in that scene at one time, this didn't particularly bother us and everyone was friendly and having a good time. Our room seemed to have constant humidity, but with not bathroom fan, I'm not surprised. Bathrooms are also ridiculously small for a room with sleeping for four. Near us a smoke alarm kept going off at all hours of the night (midnight, 2am, 4am 6am). We called the front desk and I know many others did, but they never fixed it. Also when we checked in we inquired about possibly an extra room, told all booked, but the day before when we confirmed reservations we were told 42 availability. However, the website still showed available rooms. Office also told us complimentary breakfast included but the restaurant told us that wasn't true. Management just didn't seem concerned enough to get information straight or fix the fire alarm issue. Housekeeping wonderfully nice and helpful. Proximity to beach, outstanding!

Got there late in the evening…
Left early in the morning…
No complaints.

We arrived and we had to check in at the neighboring hotel. I had to call the hotel to see ask where to check in, they had a sign outside the main office that said “check in” and then an arrow pointing left. When I called to ask for check in directions the staff was rude. We were there for three nights and our beds were never made, at one point staff just left a bag full of towels, toilet paper, our trash was not taken out.

It was ok. Room was very small and staff were very young and uninterested. Overpriced for what you get.

The beach is clean and awesome.

There is a $25 fee per night for parking and it’s a complete free for all .

Great service, private beach and complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas and towels. Great location.

Amazing place
I gonna come back soon

The beach was great. The room was very motel like and they were short staffed on housekeeping. It took a few tries to even get towels. Mixed drinks at the bar are 20 dollars a drink (the gratuity is included) which is steep. I wouldn’t stay again.

We love it there, my family and I have been going for 10 years. My only issues are just with some of the changes recently. The cafe at the Riviera not having waiters/waitresses is not as nice as it was before. And what breakfast place doesn't serve pancakes? The indoor pools were also very cold, maybe the heaters are off during july/august? But the outdoor pools were great and the staff at the beach are excellent.. We will certainly be back next summer

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There was zero customer service. Our key cards stopped working right before 4pm on the second day of our stay. They said they would bring new key cards, but never did. Shortly after 4 the power went out for about 4 hours. We asked to cancel our stay and were told that because we booked through expedia we would have to contact them. We called Expedia and the representative said she would try to cancel, but had to get approval from the resort. She called the resort and they told her that the manager had “left for the day.” I cannot believe the manager would leave right after a power outage. Furthermore, they could not give us new key cards because of the power outage. So we never had keys to our room from “check-in time” of 4pm through our entire stay. We were essentially stuck in our room all night. The resort never acknowledged the fact that we didn’t have keys. I asked for new keys three times. The resort also declined any type of refund. As for the rooms- when we checked in, the ac was not on, so the room was so stuffy and humid. The sheets were wet from the humidity and the refrigerator was leaking from the condensation. Also, all of the “clean” beach towels had yellow stains. Overall, the “resort” was overpriced by about $200/night and I could not ever recommend it to anyone.

The resort was beautiful and the room was comfy and very clean. Lovely property.

This is my third time staying here. I love it and will be back next year.

Property looks great since the renovations. Ypu can tell they are still tweaking some things. Riviera lobby isn’t open. You have to go next door to the Blue Water. It was extremely difficult to get in touch with the front desk. All published numbers go to the reservations department off-site. Dialing zero from the room phone didn’t wprk either. Housekeeping woke us up two mornings in a row despite having our “do not disturb” sign on door.

Loved everything about our room and how close we were to the beach and pool area! The ice machine on our side wasn’t working so we had to walk around looking for a different one. Other than that everything was great!
4.0
The only downsides were that the rooms didn’t have mats for wiping your feet - for a beach hotel, this would have helped, and there was no real restaurant. Otherwise we enjoyed the pools and the beach was beautiful!

The location was great. But unfortunately we were not informed of a local water main break compromising the water sources in the guest rooms. We couldn't take a shower for the two nights we were guests which in my mind was unacceptable. we were notified after the fact withlittle or no regard of the inconvenience it posed.

It’s 3 resorts you have access to all under Red Jacket..

Besides the flies all over the walls and the dirty floor in the room. Since it’s a beach hotel they need to mop before each guest. Everything else was great

Nothing to do at night, everything closes by 8 - 9pm.

New renovated rooms were very pleasant

Being a real picky person I have to highlight the greatest things I can about this because I don’t often write reviews.
I took my exotic there and was pleasantly surprised to find ample parking safe parking. There was even a few spots across the street. If you paid attention, you realized we’re far away from the traffic of other cars.
The rooms freshly renovated. I really think they hit it out of the park with the layout. Wall seem quite large and Baron, but it’s part of the design. It’s made to make it feel nice and open which it is.
Immediate all staff courteous
The amount of beach chairs is quite anthem. The amount of beachfront is insane for this area level of care into the beach. If you compare to the others is higher the most.
There’s not one, but there’s two ocean side beach bars both have food both have nice frozen cold drinks, which they clearly had to make staff friendly responsive, attentive I mean really was like the icing on the cake for me
I’ve spent lots of money down the street by the name because of its location unlike the neighbor when it says Ocean view, it is a full oceanfront unlike other neighbors where they’ll say partial ocean view or ocean view versus oceanfront you don’t get those games here
A lot of families are grown and young considering and as most once you’ve raised your children, you don’t want to be annoyed by others, and this did not happen to us which of itself makes it quite valuable
Summary it would be 10 walkways and say like fo

This place is PERFECT for families. We did a last minute long weekend stay and wished we could have stayed longer!
We definitely do plan on coming back for a longer stay next year.
The room was clean and very comfortable, I usually have a hard time sleeping in a new bed but did not have a problem sleeping at all.
The main issue I had was how slow towel replenishment was at the pools. Other problems I had were cosmetic, but being from the coast, I know the damage that salty New England air can do to a building.

Close to beach ⛱ Great food at Skippers friendly

Our stay was just ok. The location and having an indoor and outdoor pool was nice. The lack of places to eat was disappointing. Had to go to the other resort to talk to staff. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Nice place. Little over priced. Big issue with how they charged me. Put a hold on $1343.08 when I checked in then charged me $1344.08 when I checked out. The hold is still on the 1343.08 days later. Makes no sense.

Access to the beach was great and the room was cute. The pools (indoor/outdoor) were also great. We enjoyed the beach bar and cafe on site. The daily kid’s activities were awesome.
The main thing that was a negative for this resort was the housekeeping. It was disappointing that I had to make our beds the entire stay (housekeeping never did it). Housekeeping never gave us enough fresh towels, and I had to take beach towels from the pool area for my family to have clean towels to shower with. I had to ask for housekeeping to take out our garbage 2 out of the 3 days and they did not replenish our coffee pods, cups, and waters unless I contacted the front desk. Even when I did contact the front desk one day, they told me housekeeping would be there shortly and never showed up. The floors were never swept or vacuumed during our entire stay. For the price you pay to stay there, good housekeeping should be an essential.

My room was dirty. The floor was gritty with dirt. The sink had toothpaste and hair in it and on the counter.

This was the most beautiful little getaway for my family!!!! We only stayed two nights but it was exactly what we wished for and more! The beach was beautiful and clean! We stayed for Fourth of July and there were fireworks right on the beach! ALL the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back. This place is a new family favorite!

It was great experience, relaxing , beach chairs available with umbrellas. Staff is very helpful and friendly

Nothing was open and a Ruben and pre made salad with no protien with two cans of water was $50! Staff was pretty much clueless had to have room keys made twice to get in our room all except for beach guys and the one cleaner who gave us towels but there was old washcloths hanging on our shower rod and the one floor mat was soaked from previous guests… when I was charged the parking fee and incidental fee they also added a “bottle of bubbly” never received it had to go to front desk to reverse charges the ocean bar never opened for drinks it was a very big let down for two very expensive nights we will not be back

Great resort, right on the beach. The restaurant could be much better - limited options and pricey. Enjoyed the pools and hot tub and had awesome weather. Can’t wait to go back

It was an overall great stay. You can’t beat the location and convenience with kids. Love the fact that we can walk out of our room and the beach is right there.
Hotel could not keep up with the towels. Annoyed by pool area. Never any available chairs to sit at. People threw towels on chairs and then disappear. Every time my family went to the pool we either had not chair or had to share 1 and sit on the ground.

Love the private beach very clean and great staff attendance. Great location easy access to restaurants and can visit sister hotels. The pool is also nice. Only suggestion would be to add more seatings at the pool.

Nice resort right on a private beach. Nice pool as well. We did have a problem with the A/C that never got fixed during our trip, but overall still a great place.

The property was fine but there was no food or bar on site. It was not accurately described.

Beautiful property! My kids loved the bunk beds. I loved the slider door that opened out to the beach. The beach was never packed which was great. The outdoor pool was a huge hit with the kids. Great food options in the area. Definitely will stay here again
