The staff were very, very nice when we arrived and left. We booked thru a third party and we did not know that the hotel was under a major renovation. The room was pleasant but needed more cleaning. Hair on the shower walls-not something I wanted to see. Bathroom needed a lot of cleaning. Renovation or not the bathroom/room should be clean.

One night stay. Hotel undergoing renovations-painting carpet replacement in the halls. Did not cause a problem. Hot breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, waffle maker. Room was clean/comfortable.

Not a good experience. Stepped in dog poop in the lobby. Homeless encampment next to it. Had to switch rooms because water came up through the sink when taking a shower and got all over floor and rug. Room 316. Definitely not a new issue. The room smelled terribly of mildew and paint was peeling in shower and bubbling on baseboards. They almost weren’t going to switch us until we were insistent. Tried to say there were no other rooms but then moved us to a suite which wasn’t much better. Small throw pillows on bed. Seems these types of hotels are using them now. The vanity area is very small. Breakfast was good. Pool was not open. I don’t think it was ever opened this year.

Not as nice as I expected based on the reviews and ratings. Bad area, police everywhere. Moldy bathroom. Also they make you give them a $100 deposit on top of what you pay for the room when you book through Expedia or other 3rd party site. Was not expecting an extra $100 fee that won’t be credited back to me for like a week. Overall, would not stay here again.

We came to Kannapolis right after a stay at a Comfort Inn & Suites in Maryland and saw a night and day difference. Our room on 1st floor here was clean but very humid and stunk from dampness the entire 2 nights. We bought a room freshener which had little effect. I'm certain the management was aware of it and disappointed that they were renting out a room with such an issue. The other Comfort Inn was pristine , provided service with a smile, and offered complementary bottles of water and cookies when you engaged them. Kannapolis had staff that didn’t make eye contact unless you went to the desk.and can use a face-lift. Breakfast was very good at both locations. At Kannapolis, Donna was a 5-star employee taking care of breakfast for the guests. She's the reason my review is a 3 instead of a 2. Maryland - 5 stars - fantastic Kannapolis - 3 stars - it was okay

I have stayed 5-6 times for 2-3 nights at a time at this hotel within the last year. All the staff members are always super friendly and very helpful. The furniture in the lobby area, breakfast area and the chairs in the rooms are old, dirty and worn out. They need to be upgraded. The carpet in the hallways is dirty. Otherwise, it is a nice hotel that offers very good accommodations.

I liked that it is Pet Friendly for reasonable price. What I did not like - very limited eating options, no nearby grocery store, only small convеnience stores. Territory around hotel is terrible, advertized swimming pool does not attract. Both line telephones did not work in the room, I had to go to reception with every questions.

The breakfast was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose this hotel over several others b/c it had an outside pool. The pool was closed. We were never told of this prior to our visit and feel we should be compensated for not having this service available.

For the price the hotel was fine. It’s an average hotel that could use some work on the details such as ceiling in bathroom had cracking paint, door to bathroom wouldn’t close all the way, elevator walls had been wiped down but you could see where they stopped due to it being streaked, room had an old moldy smell, etc. Pool was under repair and no where on their website was that mentioned. We weren’t planning to use the pool but if someone reserved expecting to they would have been pretty upset.

The room that I stayed in was ok but it wouldn’t take management much to make it good. There was a dirty lounge chair in the corner that the managers should have taken out prior to anyone staying there. It was covered in grease stains. The window had a crack in it It was not nice. It had mold around the edges. The curtains were torn nd dirty. The air conditioner worked well. The beds seemed very comfortable and clean except for a small blood stain on the comforter. The staff were very nice. The price was ok but the room could be worth the price if management would fix these few things.

The front desk told us at check in it would be $250 if we smoked in the room. The room smelled really bad. Like stale cigarettes! REALLY BAD! Thankfully we didn’t spend much time in the room.

This hotel exceeded expectations in most areas. The room was cleaned everyday, towels were always replaced so you never ran short. The bed was made everyday as well. Front desk staff were helpful when needed. Breakfast also exceeded expectations. Rooms could use a little update as they are bland and boring. All in all, this was a fairly decent stay.

Location was great, room was spacious giving everyone room to move around. Bed was comfortable, sleeper sofa with mini wall divider was nice for teen. The sheets, OMG, not sure if it's the water or the softener, but those sheets were soooo soft. I saw this in another review, so true. Another bonus, it was quiet! Usually you hear nothing but doors opening/closing, kids running or people talking loudly in the hallway. Quiet, even at night and I was waiting to be awaken in the early AM. Maybe my family lucked on the floor we were on, but it was pure bliss. Staff were polite and attentive. The only thing I wish the room had was a safe. We rigged something up, but would have been helpful. Would gladly stay here again!
