The hotel is great for it's location and price. We rented a room with two double beds. Beds were comfortable but pillows were not.
The bathroom is tiny and in need of renovation, when you take a shower all the water spills out and the bathroom floor gets really wet. Good thing that daily housekeeping cleans all that up.
Breakfast buffet is just OK, not great, but for the price it's a great option.
Best part of the hotel is the service, everyone did a great job, especially Ivonne of housekeeping.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The stay was great. Amazing service, clean, comfortable. The only complaint is was the room was a little bit smaller than advertised. Overall a great stay, would definitely recommend

Good location, clean and safe. Staff is a bit unfriendly, but the location/price benefit outweighs the bad service. Just a heads-up, the gym is a extremely small room that only fits 1 person at the time.

Enjoyed my stayed. Only spent one night, good customer service.

The hotel was really nice and clean. The food was good and the staff was friendly.

Laila hotel is nestled in a safe neighborhood ( La Reforma ) walking distance from the angel of independence.
I was looking for a safe area while simultaneously having access to tourist attractions. The personnel was welcoming and always ready to assist. If I go back to MEXICO CITY I would definitely stay here again and again. The cost is reasonable considering the perks of this location.

Great location and accommodations were just fine. The rooms could use a little bit of a remodel but by no means make or break. Bathroom is very small.
Staff is extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. I would stay here again. Considering everything Laila is an excellent value.

Beautiful. Clean decor. Friendly and attentive staff.

The air conditioning did not work during my whole stay, and the administration did not do anything to make it better. The room was very hot.

I don't know how this hotel qualifies as 4 stars. I have never had such a bad experience at an Orbitz booked hotel. It is in a good location but the hotel leaves quite a bit to be desired in comparison to other hotels in the area.
1) Check-in process was chaotic. There were multiple travelers waiting to check-in for hours.l due to the strict policy of starting the process at 3 pm. The staff (1 person) went down a (handwritten) list of who arrived first while checking in guests. If you were not present at the moment your name was called, you had to wait until everyone else was checked in. It is unfair for 1 person to be checking in all of the guests.
2) The AC went out the first day and there was no ventilation in the rooms. The room got well into the 80s (Fahrenheit). I left the following day, before it came back. Management was not helpful or able to provide a proper timeframe for restoration of AC.
With that said, Orbitz reps were able to get me a refund after waiting for management to arrive. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very good for the price and location. Room was on the smaller side, but still very good. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
The location is great, very walkable and with good restaurants around.

Excellent hotel good location

The air conditioning didn't work during the whole stay. I was planning to stay longer, but I moved to another hotel, since this one didn't seem to be able to fix the problem
4.5
The air conditioning was not working throughout the night, making our room unbearably hot in the Mexican summer. It felt like a sauna, and I couldn't sleep at all.
I went to the front desk twice for help, but the staff's lack of fluent English and disrespectful attitude were very disappointing. Instead of providing solutions, they blamed external factors and dismissed my concerns. While I was speaking in English, they started chatting with others in Spanish, which was extremely unprofessional.
During checkout, the safe in our room wouldn't open with the correct password. It took the staff around 30 minutes to find the correct key, highlighting the hotel's disorganization.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
