Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, decent breakfast. Very good parking and a decent breakfast.

The check-in person was excellent, giving info about the WiFi access without prompting. He even texted later, to ask how are room was. As with other Hampton Inns, this hotel has a nice complementary breakfast.

Disappointing. The pool was closed indefinitely and that was the main reason we chose this hotel. Condition of this hotel is run down. Time for a major remodel. Recommend not making reservations through a 3rd party (I.e. Expedia) because hotel was not very accommodating when it came to negotiating a better price because of no pool. 1 of our 2 rooms got cancelled our 1st night inadvertently somehow, against my wishes, and hotel rebooked to another party (at a premium I’m sure). 2 stars is being generous.

The 2 nd worst Hampton we’ve ever stayed at. Seriously dated, looked and felt dirty, pool/spa was down and had been down for about a month with no signs of it being worked on. Port Huron area is very depressed and we regret having included it on our trip to Michigan.

Room was clean but smelled a bit musty. Staff were wonderful, especially John at Front Desk. Unfortunately the pool was closed both of our one-night stays this week (before and after our Chicago trip). We appreciated them getting a "To-go" breakfast ready for my family of five when we had to leave at 5:40 am for the train.

We brought our grandson with Down syndrome for a trip before school starts the pool & hot tub were both down something he looks forward to. Ruined the trip for him we left a day early

The breakfast was amazing. We love that you allow pets. The hotel is dated. The pool was out of service but we weren't notified ahead of time and we were disappointed.

Our check-in host was exceedingly helpful and friendly, especially when we needed to add a cot to the room and could not get the TV to work. Yes, he did.

Would definitely stay there again! Room was clean and comfortable. I think the breakfast was the best included hotel breakfast I ever had! Was i bit disappointed in the size and lack of bubbles in the hot tub but we made it work. Had fun in the pool area.

The pool area was clean and the pool was actually warm enough to swim in, most are to cold. Hot tub was ok, jets not the best but water temp was good.

The mattresses are worn out! Could actually feel lines in mattress- slept for three nights on two big pillows under me in order to sleep. Told front desk clerk upon arrival and he showed me another room/ same situation. Carpet worn out and dirty looking. Staff always helpful and breakfast very good, put out early and area very clean where you eat and come on hotel. This is NOT a four star hotel- no way. I did outside sales for a large hotel still in business- my property had to be top notch for me to bring the business people to lunch and show the rooms. More consistency in dressing of hotel staff would be more professional as well.

Went on a quick getaway, pool and hot tub were very dirty, updates need to be made around the hotel. The staff were nice. Tv had netflix which was nice. The breakfast was a solid 4/10. Would probably not stay again as there are a lot of other hotels around this area around the same price .

I find that for the quality of this hotel the price was kind of high. And to be charged A 15-dollar fee that is said to have dropped off is really a scam. I was charged the 15 dollars, and it went to my account that was not cool. Most likely will not stay here again, and I come to Port Huron several time a month. The weekly rates are not bad but overpricing for the one night on the weekend price gouging.

There was no bath matt in bathroom and they only had 2 towels which wasn’t nearly enough for 2 people for 2 days so we had to track down housekeeping and ask for more . The shower heads and pressure were awful . The place smelled like too much cholorine because of indoor pool.

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Immediately upon arrival I found a tooth brush, a uses straw and a used straw by the bedside. After speaking to the gentleman at the front desk, he did come down and removed the items and told us he would speak to his manager in the morning. We went to dinner, came back to use the hot tub and it was not clean. There’re was sand inside it everywhere. We did talk to the gentleman at the front desk again and he said he would speak to the maintenance man in the morning and that something may be wrong with it. Went back to the room for the night and discovered there wasn’t a top sheet on the bed. Again, spoke tho the man at the desk. He handed us another set of sheets and apologized and said he would speak to housekeeping. The toilet clogged twice in our 2 day stay also. The breakfast area was clean but the tables and chairs were rundown and tattered. Although the staff was very friendly I would not recommend this particular hotel.

My stay was great AFTER check in. While I was checking in the gentleman that checked me in kept telling me that my card was declined. I provided the proof that I paid at time of booking and that it was removed from my credit card (luckily I have it all in my app). He then proceeded to tell me that he will have to run it again (after I already showed him it was paid in full at time of booking). He then said that it was my incidental charge that was declined, which I also SHOWED HIM THE TRANSACTION GOING THROUGH . I don't know what the deal was, but there was a huge line behind me, and I thought it was crazy that he was arguing with me about the charges. Luckily I had proof of everything going through. He said he would have his manager get in touch with me (which never happened). It took me 35 min for something that should have taken 2.
Other than that, the hotel is super nice and has a great breakfast. I do recommend that they train their check in staff a little better.
