The hotel offered exactly what I was looking for - a blissful retreat to recharge my batteries.
All members of staff were most courteous and welcoming.
The bed, pillows and linens were comfortable and good quality.
The only less than 100% review is that the hotel showed wear and tear. The front door could do with a coat of paint around the door handle, one of the sliding bathroom doors was missing a handle, one of the lower walls in the dining area to the left needed attention.
Did any of this detract from my stay? Absolutely not. Would I return? In a heartbeat!

Heritage was so beautiful & welcoming. The property was gorgeous. Our room was ocean view & absolutely amazing. Heated floors in the bathroom- plush robes- coffee maker - fridge & the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a complete bonus. Will definitely be back.

The inn features wonderful. "cabins". with huge rooms, stylish interiors and dramatic and stunning views. The grounds are lovely hampered only by the water restrictions of the county. We loved our gorgeous room and dramatic views as well as the peace and and beauty of the grounds. The free yoga class I attended was wonderful. We just wish the free breakfast was more creative with more options. Overall however an unforgettable and wonderful visit which we will be repeating.

We loved the beautiful ocean view from our from our balcony and all around the property. Our only dislikes regarding the room was not having a tub and the heated floor feature in the bathroom did not work. Food was good.

Amazing staff and spectacular location. We communicated that it was our anniversary, and they went above and beyond to make our trip feel special and romantic. The fireplace was a big plus, and the views from our balcony were amazing. Pretty good food from the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. They gave us a free upgrade, which was very much appreciated. If you are planning a getaway for that special event, this is certainly the best way place in For Bragg. Stunning, serene, tranquil. Thank you Heritage House.

We stayed in a Traditional Room, which was impeccably clean and featured some lovely touches like heated bathroom floors and an in-room mini fridge and microwave. Our room had a partial garden and ocean view, which was truly picturesque and added to the serene ambiance of the property. The resort is beautifully situated right on the water, providing stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere.
The property itself is quiet and beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the tranquil environment and the proximity to nature. The location is also convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Mendocino and Fort Bragg, where we spent much of our time during the day.
The staff at Heritage House Resort & Spa were extremely warm and welcoming upon our arrival, which set a positive tone for our stay. However, we did encounter an issue with our room key, which wouldn't turn properly in the lock. Unfortunately, this led to us getting locked out of our room. Maintenance had to be called, and the handle ultimately had to be broken as even their key wouldn't work. Despite this inconvenience, the staff handled the situation promptly and professionally.
I would highly recommend the Heritage House Resort & Spa for anyone seeking a quiet, romantic getaway. The property is more adult-friendly, and I wouldn't particularly recommend it for families with children. It's an ideal destination for couples or individuals looking to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the area

Gorgeous views for a relaxing long weekend. The bed was so comfortable and waking up to the ocean being able to walk around the property. A lot of great restaurants and wineries nearby - we did the skunk train trail bikes which is also relatively close. Would recommend to anyone looking to unwind and relax.

My husband and I loved our stay. The grounds are beautiful, quiet, and serene. The ocean view room was the way to go. We got to see the sunset and woke up to the sound of the waves. I highly recommend the resort.

The hotel ground was very nice and serene. A lot of walking trails to walk around. Our room was secluded and quiet. It was facing the ocean and we had a balcony where we could hang out and watch the sunset. The minor things were that the table in our room was not properly cleaned when we arrived and the heater took some time to heat up the room.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

This is a very beautiful resort facing the ocean. The resort has its own beach access and it has its own vista points which are more picturesque than other vista points you might see in Albion and Little River area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They really make sure that you are comfortable. The restaurant has delicious entrees for dinner and their Brussel sprout appetizer dish is amazing. The beds are comfortable and the ocean facing rooms we stayed in had a balcony with chairs where we could sit and watch the waves all day. It’s worth the price as the hospitality is great.

One of the best places we have ever stayed. From the moment we walked in to check in, the service was perfect. Duck was fantastic at helping us, and we even got a free upgrade and a bottle of wine. The inside of the room was like from a movie. We absolutely loved everything about the property. The views are just breathtaking. Can’t wait to go back

This place is truly magical. It’s rustic but updated with magnificent views. The included breakfast is lovely and the hotel was also dog friendly. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to the area. Our stay was so good that we might need to plan a trip just to stay here again
