Terrible. The hotel is retro1970. The total facility include ing my room stunk of cigarette smoke! The bathroom tiny, including the sink and counter! Additional $ fee upon our early arrival. Additional $ fee to checkout at 12! The lobby and hallways cold! The Rush Bar would not have me charge drinks to my room! Just totally not to my liking and out of style old and run down! Just uncomfortable stay all around! Fee $ to park !!!

Came to AC for a dinner and a show at Borgota. This was perfect. It was close and the rooms were extremely nice. We dined at your Chart House - everything was excellent The staff was extremely friendly and efficient.

I was disappointed with some of the Staff. I do feel the need the mention that our Valet Gail and all of the others were outstanding! Front Desk was more concerned with taking her break or leave for the day then she was in assisting us, and there wasnât even a line. But, my biggest concern was that it seems that the Hotels in AC have still not gone back to full staff and entertainment and they are wasting time and money keeping a full staff for gambling. Not everyone goes to Atlantic City to gamble. I am not sure where the mistake lies - could it be that putting up all of the hotels and casinos was actually a failure and we will eventually see the entire city turn into another failed attempt to bring revenue into NJ? Is it going to wind up becoming another abandoned city? My question is what is Nj going to do about this. Is it really a wonder why the residents of NJ are fleeing this State in increasingly high amounts? It is just a shame what this State has become under Gov. Murphy - he needs to go before our entire State becomes abandoned. As for me, I happen to love NJ and continue to become increasingly concerned.

Relaxing, service was top notch from all we encountered.

We did not receive an updated room, however the room was nice. Only downside was it was very smoky in the casino, and our room even smelled like smoke.

everyone one the property was very friendly and helpful. The property design is a bit dated but everything was good

Great value for the price paid.

Newly remodeled and very clean and very classy design. Employee attitude and service was great. Most food options were closed during the week. Limited choices for food but I understand that it costs money to keep restaurants open when attendance is lower.

Always an amazing experience with the Golden Nugget AC.

Very nice. My room had a view of the inlet. It was beautiful. I had dinner at Dos Caminos. My server was super nice and very helpful. She helped me select a tequila flight. It's a nice way to try and learn new things. It's great to be in an environment where people enjoy what they do and take pride in their service.

Terrible service, dealer unprofessional while we were trying to have fun. He was rude the entire time. Callled management because we were giving each other to play.

Dont think there were a lot of places to eat after 9 at nite. Also cant understand why they would charge $4 ea for water in room.

Extremely pissed off and disappointed. I paid and booked a NON SMOKING hotel room. I arrived with my girlfriend, walked to the front desk to check in, and was told that since we booked the room that day that we were stuck with a SMOKING room. I was told that I would not be able to receive a refund for their screw up. The room smelled horrible since my girlfriend and I are not smokers. You would think that they would offer some sort of reimbursement for the inconvenience on their end. This was the first and last time staying at this establishment in Atlantic City.

We enjoyed the casino and the Dos Caminoâs was AWESOME food, drinks and service were all top notch. Bed and pillows are so magical. We both had the best nights sleep in months of not longer.

To be fair they are renovating their hotel but the rooms that are still waiting to be done they are in rough shape.

Things were fine for the most part, the only
Issue I had was that I found a roach roaming around the room on my bed at 4 am.

During my stay the television did not work properly. Called down multiple times for them to remedy. Then stopped by the front desk for them to fix while I was away, it never worked the whole stay in room 728.

We checked in and dropped our stuff in our room and headed out for a concert. When we got back around midnight we realized there were bugs all over the bathroom, ceiling and wall near the bed. We found stains on the sheets and the toilet paper roll holder was falling off the wall. There was hair all over the bathroom (it was long and we both have very short hair). We wonât be back.

Refrigerator was iced over and did not work, tv service didnât work, thermostat did not regulate room temperature, ice machine on my floor was out of service and construction was taking place

We generally stay at the Golden Nugget on our trips to Atlantic City. It seems to be the most economical for the services we receive. The rooms are needing an update. Tub faucet was dripping, furniture has some nicks but overall room is okay.
The gentleman who checked us in lacked personality and definitely wasnât inviting. I donât recall his name. We did eat there and the restaurant was fine

Youâre spending money on a hotel & have to pay for a bottle of water in the room you stay, not my standards

Our trip was amazing, from ballet parking attendance to taking our luggage to the room to check in, everyone was courteous and very helpful. Looking forward to my next visit to the Golden Nugget. Excellent hotel.

Outdated, very noisy, not cleanâŚ.at all. Stains on the upholstered headboard and sheets. Had one side of an adjoining room. With earplugs, we could still hear everything that was going on in the next room. They werenât particularly loud, just no soundproofing and thin walls.

My bf and I love staying here .. nice rooms and clean
Bang for your buck

We were getting away for a last minute get away. Borgata and Ocean and Hard Rock were all sky high rates so when we saw GN rated an 8.2 we decided to roll the dice.
First the good - the staff is great. They are warm, they are personable, almost a throwback to the heyday of Atlantic city, from the valet to the bellman to the front desk. Warm, friendly, helpful, really felt like family. Room service (breakfast both days) was excellent, fairly prices, fast and tasty...)
The hotel itself is fine but it is a C-minus at best. The lobby is dated, the casino floor is small and was almost empty even though we were there on Friday/Saturday nights. Consistently waited 10-20 minutes to get an elevator to/from our room. Room was clean but shower head was wonky and toilet paper holder was broken.
Gym consisted of 3 treadmills, 2 of which were not working, a few bikes, an elliptical and a small amount of weights. Room itself was tiny for what is billed as a luxury resort.
Finally all around there were just signs of wear and tear, nothing awful, but collectively made the place feel a little old and a little sad.
