Never made it. Had a legitimate situation and spent 3 days trying to contact hotel to reschedule. Was ghosted! Then hotels.com responded saying I tried to cancel, when I didn't. Money lost, hotel ghosted, hotels.com made excuses!

I didn’t even stay there. I walked in the smell was so horrific. The lamps were all ripped and broken barely gave off any light. The smell was so bad we couldn’t stay. We had to leave and I’m going and I’m expecting to get a refund.

We had an overall positive experience. The room we stayed in was in not in the renovated part of the hotel so it wasn’t in the best shape. For example it was clean but it was probably a while since it’s been clean. There was dust on the bathroom sink and on cabinets. Again it was visibly neat but it was a while since it was actually cleaned. We only stayed one night so we made due with the room. The restaurants and the water park attractions stole the show. Would definitely recommend those to a friend or family.

I stayed in the king one bedroom jacuzzi suite. It was very clean and i would stay there again. The room was dated, the living room furniture was from like 1999, very uncomfortable, but the bed was great. I could tell the mattress was brand new. There is obvious wear and tear over all in the suite, could use some spackle and paint in places. Overall, i was happy though and would stay there again in the future!

This hotel is been there a long time. It shows its age. Carpets are worn, our room was ok- bed not very comfortable.. bathroom was clean- but they offer NO soap to wash hands! In any rooms. We’re told the shampoo is ok to use ! Water park was good , but more geared to 6 & up .. small coffee shop. More game Machines than could ever be used! Security was decent.

Elevaters to hotel rooms were not working properly and nobody seemed to care. Everything closes down fairly early. At 11 pm nothing is open. Vending machine is your only choice. Rooms were updated and clean. Staff were nice, but again, elevators clearly needed maintenance and the check in staff ignored the issue and just offered to issue another key to try, or try another elevator. Carrying bags around for a half hour trying to get to my room was unacceptable. Especially considering there were zero places to sit throughout, except bar/cafe. Bizzare. No chairs anywhere.

Lack of signage to get to the rooms, no soup at bathroom sink, rugs are dingy, coffe shop is not open til later in the morning and you have to hike to the next casino to get one. Anyone going should know the clientele are a generally partying crowd. Positives are the price is low compared to other hotels, and the room view included the lighthouse; which was nice.

I had fun at the showboat, my 10 year old had an amazing time at the arcade. They had lots of fun games including mini golf and skating. The room was clean and comfortable enough for the weekend. The hallway carpeting was really dirty and there were people running up and down the hallways yelling and playing party games late at night. The water park was nice. We ordered breakfast from the cafe and it cost us $67 for 1 avocado toast and chicken and waffles that wasn’t very good. The hotel itself was very nice, staff was friendly. The worst part of this was the issues I had with parking. I paid for parking on arrival they use air garage. The next morning there was a violation on my car with the wrong listens plate number stating that I didn’t pay. I had to reach out to the company via text to remove the violation. Then a few days after arriving home. I got a message saying that I didn’t pay it was a hot mess. I was able to handle everything but it was still super frustrating.

First the place was not clean. Some of the elevators were not operating properly.. The bell desk closed at 2 PM but check in was at 3 or 4 PM. Get to the room and it was not clean well. There was not a bar of soap in the building . The shower gel in bathroom was half used. When I request a bar is soap they sent me a handful of shower gel. The room also definitely needed a renovation. I had an cigarette burn on my headboard and it was a non smoking room and suppose to be a non smoking hotel.

This was the worse hotel I stayed in. From arrival. The valet driver was high and asleep. The front desk employee didn’t know English. The whole place was filled with smells of marijuana. The fitness room didn’t exist. The ice maker didn’t work. The electrical outlets didn’t work. I tried to ride the indoor gocarts and the worker wanted me to cashapp him the money instead of paying the hotel. They did a great job at uploading great pictures. No restaurants were open. 10 year old kids running around trying to fight adults. And i tool pictures and videos of it all. Worst ever! Bed didn’t even have bottom sheets. Too bad I can’t upload the videos.

One of the grimiest hotels I have ever stayed in. Hotel is in need of a renovation. My room had a weird odor. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper, mold and a drippy faucet. Im assuming it is a pet friendly hotel, so you have to listen to everyones dogs barking and crying through the paper thin walls. Also, the elevators were not working, so I had to walk around looking for another elevator to get up to my room. No signs saying why, just not working. I would not recommend this place

This hotel is not only run down and not updated, I wouldn't frown on some wear and tear...but it also was dirty (mildew on the shower curtain, stains on the wall, and chairs that have never been cleaned in what looks like 10+ years). On top of that, they couldn't even give a 30 minute late check out for someone who checked in early evening the night before.

For the price it was good. The hotel is showing it's age. Walls are a little thin. Bed was comfortable but very low.There is no casino betting in this hotel! It's a kids wonderland with a large arcade,go-karts and attached waterpark. Self parking is $25 a day through a mobile phone; not sure how they check that you paid. The walk to the parking lot and the lot itself feels a " I wouldn't walk there at night"".The hotel outdoor pool was closed (October).

Friends suggested meeting up with us in Atlantic City. None of us had been there before, and we’ll never go there again. I guess if you’re a gambler, and if you’re staying in one of the best casino hotels, and if you never leave the property it would be OK, but we all thought the city was sad and run down. We feel bad for the people living there.

An okay place to stay but nothing to do there. A bit outdated. They made a reservation error (double booked) but quickly fixed it. They charge a resort fee but no pool was open and the “gaming” area was super whack and no one was in there. Great location on the Boardwalk. It would be nice if they ditched the resort fee ($39 a night) and the $150 deposit and it would be worth it. But this is just for a place to stay.

First the receptionist at check in was rude , asked about where rooms were located he had a attitude about it ,room was so called clean but had three roaches popping out of no where ,two in the room one in the bathroom , no microwave beware of that if you have babies with you. Young girl in the store a bit rude when asked questions about the area , security is just there to be there , there try to beat you in the head with prices , currently in a dispute to find out why three different prices was being discussed, parking is 25 a day had to find that out the hard way since they meat head receptionist never disclosed that.overall don’t do it

This was an absolutely horrible experience for me I've never stayed at the showboat before but I was in town for business so I figured I would give it a try. The first room I checked into the television didn't work or the air conditioner the room was 83°, so they moved me into another room and the air conditioner did not work as well also the elevators broke I had to call maintenance. Then I went downstairs I was dying of thirst and I stuck a $5 in the vending machine and I got an error message and then it kept my $5 to top off my horrible first night I ended up checking out early I couldn't stay there anymore. I'm extremely disappointed the place got good reviews and I guess they were completely false this is an old hotel that is totally worn down and dirty. I'm very disappointed that hotels.com did not give me any warnings about a place like this and I wasted my money!

We were told a specific check in time and then had to wait hours to get into our room because they somehow ran out of sheets even though we did the pre check in hours before . We were told we would be given a credit from the hotel and yet got nothing even after all these weeks. Would not recommend . Place also felt old.

The room itself was great, the carpet/couch was a little out dated. The bed was very comfy. We did have to have maintenance come fix our toilet, but he was very quick and polite. The hallways to the parking garage were very hot, but we only went that way when we went to the cars. The amenities in the building were cool, arcade, go carts and much much more. Highly recommend, however BE CAREFUL going outside. There were a few people doing drugs directly on the boardwalk outside of the hotel.

The overall experience wasn't good. We had valet parking. They told us we can only use it for one day. They didn't have it afterwards. Staff was pretty good. Went 12 room. There were dogs next door that kept barking. They moved us to another room. Our room was dirty and the mattress was lumpy and not firm and then they moved us to a suite which was also not kept up 100%
