Expected much more for the price - almost $300. Room was small, amenities were minimal and seemed to be cost+cutting. No amenities in lobby unlike other Hilton affiliates. Felt below a Holiday Inn Express (which it once was). Shower was weak and drain made clanking noise, and guests above stomped loudly.
Staff were nice and location good but we will not stay here again, even at lower cost.

Evening manager was welcoming and very friendly. Great vibes

There was a smell coming from the sewer and the water smells bad as well. Had to leave windows open.

It was fine. The hotel is a bit dilapidated. We were on the ground floor and could hear the bathrooms on either side of us constantly. Every flush. Good location. Amenities are minimal.

Beautiful hotel, old but fully renewed in a lovely way.

Pro: Love the location because the hotel is in center of all the shops & restaurants on State Street.
Con: The walls are thin. You can hear the people walking & the plumbing above you.

Very Clean …. So close to everything, shopping, Restaurants.
My only concern is the desk reception clerk was not making us welcome.
We are latinos and we are do enthusiastic that we expect to be welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm

The building is beautiful and the interior is all so fresh and nicely decorated! Beds were very comfortable too! Enjoyable stay!

Cute boutique hotel with friendly staff but the rooms are sooooo tiny and overall wet and moldy. Bathroom had mold in all the corners and in the shower and the room had condensation on all surfaces. The room had a funky smell and was damp. The towels never dried- shower water spilled onto the floor. We had family staying there too and their room was the same. For the price, very much not worth it. Staff was nice but doesn’t make up for damp moldy rooms.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Front desk staff was lovely, very accomodating and gave many recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Rooms are renovated and larger than many hotels I’ve stayed in SB. Location is perfect, right off from the main downtown street. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Will absolutely stay again next time we’re in town!

Overall staff was amazing, lobby was clean, valet parking staff respectfully and nice. We know there working on the 2nd floor hallway, I think it’s the AC vents not to sure. Other than that a nice place to stay, thank you!

Great hotel and location. The rooms are very nice. I borrowed their bike to cruise around town. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating when we had unexpected change in our plans.

Great hotel in a fabulous locaton. With that location it was a bit loud on Saturday night. Only problem was the box spring on one of the beds. If you bumbed it squeaked loudly. It was almost comical. Didn't know with modern beds you still could have that problem. Staff was fabulous. You can walk to many restaurants, wine tasting rooms and shopping. When i return to Santa Barbara i will stay again.

Hotel and staff was very nice but we got a room next to the ice maker and it was very loud all night

We have stayed at this hotel many times, back when it was a Holiday Inn. Our first Hilton experience was disappointing. The front desk was unable to address we brought to their attention and failed miserably to communicate with us as to how these issues were being addressed. Very disappointing.

Great hotel, walking distance to food, and State St. Not sure where else to park but in valet, at $30/night. Or walk a couple blocks with your luggage. Shower head had good water pressure, i know this can be a problem for me with thick hair, so i like to review it. Rooms are nice!

Good location, nice rooms, somewhat recently renovated. Overall very good. Only real disappointment was the lobby cafe/bar. They did not have a single one of the food items for breakfast (muffins, croissant, etc.), or at least that's what the very disinterested person working there said. Took quite a while to get her attention to leave the back room and even pour some coffee.

Room was exactly as pictured, employees at the front desk were friendly, and best of all, we were able to use the hotel's bikes at no additional cost. I'd stay here again.

Very pleasant stay. Great location for walking both to the Funk Zone, pier, and especially State St. Very efficient room, nicely decorated.
Some in our party weren’t happy with the location of their rooms. Our was on the second floor of the main building and was a good location. I liked it and will stay again next time in SB.

This was a nice hotel and a short distance to shops and restaurants. The room and bathroom was very clean. The hotel is maintained well. The photo online is exactly how the room looked.

Hotel is nice and very close to state street. My only complaint is the walls are very thin and the neighbors above me were running back and fourth and it sounded like people were dropping weights in a gym. If you’re going to stay here ask for the highest level. I called to complain at 1:30am but the noise continued till 2:30am

I thought the property was a very convenient location and walkable to everything. My one note: Ask to stay on the 3rd floor if you want a quiet pleasant stay. We were first floor to start and the building is old, so a family was above us and it was non stop thumping. We called the front desk and they were amazing and moved us to room 326. That is the room I will always request :). Thank you to the front desk.
