Highly recommend this hotel, it is just beautiful. Food, decor, staff, location were all perfect. Everything you would expect for a Relais & Chateaux property.

I have been lucky to stay in some pretty great places, but this one by far is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was perfect. The staff was beyond friendly. It truly is a treat.

Villa Gallic is simply fabulous. It’s a gorgeous boutique hotel with traditional furnishings located within a 15 minute walk from the center of Aix-en-Provence. The service level is extremely high and the overall feeling is quite luxurious. The interior design is quite layered and the overall feeling is warm refinement. I highly recommend this hotel and would return.

Besides the amazing beauty and charm of this place, the staff really made this place amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Unacceptable for the room of a 5 star hotel to stink of smoke. And it was not accidental. It smelled every day. Some staff members smoked somewhere and the smoke made it to the room. The hotel made it up with a free dinner etc but that doesn’t fix the room

The room was lovely, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We had a gastronomique experience at the restaurant which was fabulous.

Amazing-close to town but removed enough to feel like an oasis. Kind, friendly service that made you feel taken care of. All the little details were great-we were upgraded on arrival, got a welcome snack both at check in and in the room. The fresh flowers everywhere were beautiful and the complimentary tea was one of our favorite memories from our trip. Given the partnership with a perfumer, might be hard for folks sensitive to smells but, I thought it was a nice effect.

Beautiful property. Having experienced the Picasso villa, we felt like there was no one around us, private pool was icing on top.

Beautiful property, elegantly furnished. Too many steps. Some rooms have bathrooms on one level and Bedroom on the other with 20 steps.
There is plenty of staff but they are not efficient, Sat at breakfast for 20 minutes and no one came to ask us if we wanted coffee. There were a total of 4 other guests on the terrace and 2 staff, both setting tables no on would ever use. Had to ask twice for service. First waiter disappeared and second was rude. We left. Not what you expect for 37 euros a person in a 5 star resort.
Twice turn down service was between 10:20-10:35 after we returned from town.
Way overpriced. Honestly, not worth the expense

We had great expectations for this historic hotel, but found it located in a dull residential area, and lacking in many other ways.
The junior suite was truly expensive, but very poorly laid out, with a surfeit of rickety tables and chairs, and every surface covered with knick knacks. The room and closet was wholly insufficient for our luggage. Bathroom was unimpresive and impractical - not even a single hook for a towel near the shower.
Another major problem was the lack of a functioning, modern AC system. After one uncomfortable night, we were offered a tiny fan to cool our room.
The "included" breakfast was substandard. We sat down and had to ask three times for coffee. Poached eggs arrived as we were ready to leave the dining room. On the second day of our stay we chose to go elsewhere for breakfast.
Just not worth the expense and the high ratings do not reflect our experience at all.

This was an incredible place. It isn’t a stay it is an experience to be treasured. The details were exquisite- the scent of lavender, the sweet treats upon arrival, rose petals during turn down- were a part of the magic. The dining, the grounds, the spa, and the rooms were all fantastic.

Small and beautiful Enchanted hotel In the magical city of Aix En Provence. Not inexpensive— but no detail is overlooked here. Every piece of food and even every cup of coffee is served with such care. fresh flowers and manicured gardens, beautiful decor throughout. Heated pool and jacuzzi. All of it Immaculate. Friendly smart helpful staff who will entertain your attempt at french but who mostly all speak English for when you get stuck. An all around high class resort, for me (3 extended stays here) the crown jewel of the south of France, and always an unforgettable experience.

The property is beautiful and is the best part of visiting this hotel. Stunning landscaping and sculptures. The outdoor dining was also quite lovely. The rooms are a little dated with very little storage space, but overall a great experience within walking distance to a charming town center.

Everything was perfect!
Villa Gallici is a magic place!
For sure one of the best hotel I have ever been: the room was so nice, the garden and the pool beautiful! Everywhere full of fresh flowers!
Also the personnel very kind and helpful!

Vila Galici is a beautiful property - quiet, calm, relaxing; great location within walking distance to town; attentive staff; and a beautiful pool area. The property, however, could use a deep clean, if you look closely there are cobwebs in the light fixtures, the common areas needed to be swept, and dusted. Also, the menu is very traditional, almost nothing to eat for a vegetarian, and the wait staff and chef unhelpful and unimaginative to provide any options besides green salad or pasta, which is disappointing for a five star establishment.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Gallici. The Hotel is really beautiful and has so much European charm. Our room had two floors with the bed on one and the bathroom located up a small flight of stairs - it was a really cute room! The service at the hotel was excellent, the staff were helpful and friendly. They helped us find a boat trip on Cassis and recommended places to go. We had one dinner at the restaurant hotel which I’d highly recommend, the food is terrific!
We stayed here during a major heatwave in Europe and it was really hot in Aix en Provence, usually in the older hotels you aren’t sure if the air conditioning will work well but Villa Gallici’s did! We were very thankful for a good nights rest in a cool room.

Luxurious stay but not worth the money. Spa needs far more facilities to be labelled a ‘spa’ hotel.

The hotel itself is very nice and Italian and well preserved
However the service in the restaurant is not up to 5 stars standard . Waiters couldn’t remember things we ordered and items are overpriced

We have stayed here several times and were not pleased. The staff was not together. We arrived and no one greeted us. We parked our selves and wandered into the lobby when a staff member finally acknowledged us. The dinner service was poor and haphazard. Food and facilities were great and we love the garden, but management needs to review the service To expensive for the service. Not sure we would stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Upgraded us to a beautiful junior suite with terrace that opened to their lovely sculpture garden. Peaceful location but just a short walk to restaurants , sightseeing and shopping. Hope to return and enjoy during warmer season
