Only the hansedom was good. Hotel Wyndham should have granted one time access to sports swimming pool. We have to pay for everything. nothing is complimentary.

Booked to be close to the water park (not included in the room rate). Cleaning was not perfect, found dirt in the corners. Rooms are getting worn out.

Nice rooms, terrible terrible service from the front desk. No hot water in the evening. The restaurant smelled like cheap chicken stock. The advertised features, like an indoor and outdoor pool didn't exist. When we asked about the nextdoor waterpark, we were told by one receptionist that it would be 15 euros and that it was open, 5 minutes later another receptionist told us it was closed, but would open the next day. When we went the next day, only the big pool was functioning, all slides, and whirlpools ect was out of order. I feel bad for all the parents who had promised their kids a trip to the water park... And none of the receptionists told us about everything being out of order.

We have booked our stay at the hotel as we would like to stay in the aqua park. All slides (except 1 small Indoor slide) where closed. Also the spa pools where closed. This is not stated through the booking or before arrival and we are very very disappointed. There where also aqua gym in the only open pool and we needed to leave the pool. We would not have been visiting the aqua park nor hotel if we where familiar with the conditions. The advertising material do not match the experience.

Good day! Were one of your thousands customer. October 22, 2021 Friday, i had booked a 1 night stay on your hotel named Wyndham Stralsund Hansedom. My booking was made in hotels.com. I tried my best to keep it as a suprise for my husband for his birthday present and he is very happy when I told him that i had made a reservation on your hotel. Íve been in the hotel 3rd times with my husband but my husband has been there many more time with one of his college . We had enjoyed very much and satisfied and perfectly 100% smooth with staff from the reception, dining area and down to the swimming area connected to the hotel. Everything was perfect. But in this trip It started with the boat was nearly delayed 3 hrs. Not your fault. So when we arrived to the hotel we looking forward for good bath, good food and relax as well the staff Communication. The time we arrived my husband said ”what had happened to the hotel? The gate was not secure the parking area is open ? The glas over the entrance area is dirty. He said wow it looks like pandemic hurt the hotel much it did not look like it done before.” When we got in into the hotel, we saw 2 customer get the bath towel and get in to the bath place. When we are there in the reception area, there was 2 staff, one boy with his hair set up like on a top of his head with short hair and one is the shorter man(same as my husband talked later to). The hotel was fairly empty cause of COVID but they still hadn’t managed to do up the extra bed for our son. A light in the room was broken and we had only small towels. The breakfast staff and food is very good and safe.

The property seemed dated. We just picked the wrong hotel for our intended purpose...it would appeal to younger families interested in the waterpark but our plans were to explore the old city and the history of the area . The location was inconvenient.

No hot water. We arrived after long trip and the shower in the room was very hard to operate and no hot water!! For the money and for the name Wyndham this is not what I would expect.

Hotel is very good. We have booked Superior Room (37 m²) with city veuw on the 8. floor. Room was very clean, enough place. Very good Breakfast (usually - 18 € for person, but it was included in our price). Only location is not so perfect: you needs bus for visiting city-center. We used our car (price for parking - 7,50 € for 24 hours), so it was no problem for us.

they charge for pool after 09,30 every day = not included as they says good brekfeast and there kingsize in topfloor was good. price foe use the Hansa dom 3 hours on night we think was to expensive 1 shopping centra near hotel but feeling was that location is little of .

The reality was at least a 50 min walk on a busy road to get to the outside edge of the historical district and another 10 to the sea. I would consider 'near' to be a 20 min or less walk. I was expecting the hotel to be in a pretty area but instead would describe it as industrial. It also advertised free internet. It not only was not free but none was not available in the room, lobby or business center. This was important to us to stay in contact with our business. No one showed the slightest concern. The room itself was nice enough but because of the area I would not stay here again or recommend.

nice place. good rooms, except that the bathroom was a bit worn down and not very good vented. also the location is not so convenient.. even though it's right outside of the Hansa Dom it's outside of the city centre and without own car you need to catch a cab and/or a local bus to get to the main attractions of Stralsund.

A good hotel with really novel room decor including a lighthouse! You really need a hire car to make the best of it as not much in the way of public transport nearby,but there are national hire firms near. we chose SIXT and they were great. Taxi from train station 10 Euro was good value. As with many German hotels breakfast was expensive. We will use this hotel again and were pleased with it overall.

Wow, expensive place and all the warmth of a YMCA room. Overly concerned about extracting every dollar possible from your stay. Charges for everything including parking and 7 euro's to wash a pair of blue jeans. Many better and cheaper hotels in the Stralsund area save your money and stay elsewhere.
