Dead bug on floor. AC didn’t work. Dust on lampshades, black hairs in sink. Sheet dirty on side of bed. Beds were comfortable. Check in staff was nice.

I booked a room to stay for myself and my kids for family weekend at GVSU. I was mortified at the smell and how dirty everything was! The hallways carpets are completely stained, the room had BLACK MOLD on the shower and the shower tile grout was disgusting! I was so afraid to sleep with the screaming, and filth we left.

I order two rooms, didn't look at the reviews since it's a Wyndham hotel and they are usually quality. A day before I was supposed to stay there I realized from other reviews that it was a hell hole of a place. And I was honestly scared to stay here. I tried to get a refund and none was given. I will never be booking a Wyndham hotel again.

I thought it would as nice as the other Baymont closer to the airport but I was wrong. The outside looks nice but the inside needs a lot of help, don’t mind the beat down old walls with cracks but the curtains were filthy dirty & the bathroom shower was/is in need of a renovation, I don’t like leaving bad reviews I rather not leave a review but I was also blamed for “smoking in the room” which I did not do. It was a cheap hotel in terms of rates but I guess you get what you pay for. Will definitely be going back to the other Baymont when & if I do ever go back to Grand Rapids , MI , it’s a little longer drive but definitely worth the drive because of how much cleaner the other Baymont is.

They only renovated the lobby, so the pics are a LIE Dirty, rude staff, no ice in the only maker for the entire hotel for the entire week I stayed

Bloody rag in elevator, receptionist was wiping his nose on his hands as we were checking in and swapping cards, it smelled awful, room was unclean.

The desk staff was very nice. There were only 3 bath towels in the room when I arrived: no wash cloths, no hand towels. The bathtub had quite a bit of the porcelain peeled away. The tiles around the water spout had been replaced. The quality of work looked as if a five year old had done the work. I was there 9 days and the only way I received clean towels was to ask at the desk. I emptied my own trash everyday. Housekeeping NEVER serviced my room. I was uncomfortable coming in after dark, because there would be questionable people hanging in the parking lot. The most positive thing about my stay was the young lady who worked the desk during the day. She was always so nice every time I asked for towels.

First room had the filthiest toilet and tub. Secnd roo had no towels and sheets had cigarette burn holes.

Pool was not open, did not effect my rating. Call and check if you want the pool. Not sure what was wrong, they told me chemical balance issue. There was a field in the outdoor pool with nice grass, I did not ask but, I hope that was not the chemical balance issue...lol

It was a nice property

Our room had a literally wet pile of urine in the carpet when we walked in. The staff told us “sorry.” Literally no offer to move or help or clean or anything. A pile of urine. Disgusting.

The hotel didnt alert me when i checked in that the cable was out. There was still food in the microwave and the tub was dirty. I found out that hotel is known for servicing prostitutions and i had to leave right away. I feel that that baymount in grand rapids mi gives Wyndham a bad reputation.

When I arrived at the hotel it smelled like cigarettes. I did a video walk through of my room when I arrived and found cockroaches. The rooms were dirty, sheets were stained, bathrooms were dirty and the small patio area was covered in trash. Nothing about this hotel was clean or safe.

This hotel by far had the worst customer service experience that I have ever had and the many years of traveling I booked a hotel room for my son who has autism spectrum disorder, and had left very specific instructions regarding the accommodations needed for him not only did they not provide the correct room, but there were chip tiles in the shower Which he could cut himself on he was not given the proper room for someone who needed a handicapped accessible shower so he could not use the shower. Hotel itself was not very clean and was poor conditions and most importantly the hotel staff was not only generally rude, they were unkind and went , so far beyond that that they had, my son who is an adult mind you in tears and having a total mental health breakdown due to the way that they treated him they refused to offer him breakfast the next day during the scheduled and posted hours, although it was posted That the dining hours were till 10 AM. He arrived prior to this time and they refused to offer him with any food or beverages which he needed for health reasons and also that he was entitled to the services due to selecting this hotel for having breakfast additionally, my son was treated disrespectfully because he is a member of the LGBTQ community and was discriminated against , for this fact as well, the staff AND MANAGER ON DUTY WAS NOT LGBTQ FRIENDLY. If YOU HAVE A DISABILITY DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! Lastly they refused to offer him any refund.

I would rate a zero if i could. This place is HORRID, the pictures on the site were not at all what the website showed. They have drug addicts running around the parking lot and LIVING in the hotel. There was blood on the wall, the whole place was run down completely, except the lobby and outside of building. I came at 2:44am and druggies were all over the parking lot. I ran inside and had to dodge druggies ran to my room. I would have left immediately if i wasnt too scared. As soon as the sun came up i ran to my car and left. I was scared the entire time as a single women on my own. I didnt even stay the remaining days

Very dirty no hot tub pool dirty smells like cigarettes trough out the place employees very rude nothing for breakfast very dirty and nasty I stay all over the states this is the most worst one yet

I would pick somewhere else.... It was the worst place, but it wasn't very clean... The shower walls look like they've never seen a cleaning product, the carpet felt dingy so we kept our shoes on, the bed covers under all the blankets were stained yellow.... Sure the necessities were clean, but it's worth another $20 or so to go somewhere else .... The breakfast is laughable as well ... We planned on swimming, but seeing the state of everything else, we didn't even check out the pool.

Do not stay, this is a scam. This property is in abysmal condition. It’s advertised nicely on Expedia but don’t let the photos fool you. The surrounding area is very rundown and there were several sketchy characters roaming the parking lot when I pulled in. As a matter of fact the first thing your greeted with upon entering the hotel is that they lock the front door in the evening for your safety and not even your hotel key will get you in you have to ring a doorbell and wait for staff to come physically let you in. Never mind the fact that the front door is literally the only working door. Beyond that I checked into the room and it was falling apart. There was literal food smeared on the room walls. The shower was so molded over it looked like the tiles were about to fall off the wall, there was a literal chunk missing out of the tub and the vanity was legitimately held up by pieces of scrap wood. I immediately went to check out and request a refund and to make it worse. They lied! I was told by the front desk they would approve a refund. And after pressing him for a receipt several times I was told they could not give me a receipt that it would have to come through Expedia. Well that was a lie. I’m now currently back and forth with Expedia’s support team to actually get my refund and so far their support team seems powerless to do much to help and it’s been around a week now. Don’t be like me. Don’t get scammed. Stay anywhere else.

The first room that I had had bugs. Ron 323.They have me a different room, but I have bites all over me from the first room. It took me a long time to get to sleep in the new room. I hope I didn't take any bugs gone with me. I am happy with the service, but I am not happy with my stay.

They didnt have any towels in the room, when i asked about them, they didnt know if they had any left. I got 2 swimming towels but no wash cloths. Didnt end up showering because the tub looked disgusting.

My room didn’t have a room number, which was 420 also my toilet stopped up 2 times, there were no phones in the bedrooms, also only one washer and dryer for over 500 hundred rooms let’s be for real

Just a place to sleep and go. Place is in poor condition in a dodgy location. I’ve stayed in worse. I recommend you do not bring young children here.

Ok place to stay, i think they need to be updated and some repairs need. I didn't stay the entire night, couldn't get comfortable.

Broken glass in many parking spots, sketchy neighborhood, dirtiest bathroom ive ever seen! I didnt stay & checked in elsewhere. DO NOT STAY HERE! I was lucky i wasn't human trafficked or robbed or worse!!!

The toilet seat was lose the shower broken the pool room smelled like mold hot tub broken the orange juice tasted like fermenting juice the lady who checked us in was supper nice prolly the only thing good about this hotel was she was supper nice hallways smelled like feces as well and our room smelled like cigarette smoke bathroom was dirty and towel had hair on them DO NOT COME HERE OR STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THE GIRLS NUMBER AT THE FRONT DESK

The rooms were average. This isn't an upscale hotel. If your looking for budget friendly or a place to stay for a few nights. It's a good hotel. What was annoying is the Key Card kept deactivating. Then you had to wait to find staff to get back into your rented room.

Rolling the dice on any service, or clean room. Owner has no policy’s on refund, accommodation for poor services, or for anything wrong from no tv, to power. Very poor all over. Breakfast is not worth trying you will be greatly disappointed. Owner invests nothing into customer service, quality, or accommodations. You will be disappointed.
