Wonderful! Beach front hotel with lovely deck chairs for lounging and sunset watching, soft blankets for a cold evening, a glass of pink rosé bubbles offered upon arrival, Beach cruisers available to the guests as part of your stay. Definitely an eco-friendly stay: the lobby has a beautiful coffee machine for complimentary lattes, and wine and pastries available for purchase. On site drinking water to take to your room in a pitcher. Walk next door for 2 very nice restaurants. Perfect for a romantic couples trip, with our dog. Dog friendly property and only 10 min stroll down the beach to the off leash dog beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. All in all a very wonderful experience! Highly recommend, five out of five stars

Much better than pictures show. Everything was immaculate and bed was very comfortable. I travel weekly for work and this exceeds many of the big high end chains. View from general area is fantastic, right on beach. Two nice restaurants next door. Great for business travel or personal.

This place is simple but nicely updated, and it is ON THE BEACH. There are steps out the back and you are on the sand. They created a very lovely back patio area where you can watch the sun set over the Pacific. Thin walls, no elevator and a “wet room” shower that is gratuitous and annoying but the staff were nice and helpful and the room was very cute. They have made the most of a dumpy building in a great location. They don’t have a restaurant or bar but right next door is a very good one with wonderful food and patio dining with Ocean views.

We really enjoyed staying at the Del Mar Beach Hotel! Loved that it was right on the beach, close to the racetrack shops and restaurants! Loved the filtered water and free coffee! Service was great and the room was nice and cozy! We will definitely stay there again!

We had an amazing experience at the Del Mar Beach hotel. The location is incredible with the beach right outside of your rooms. There are two wonderful restaurants next door. The staff was friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. We will definitely be back

Wow! We will book this hotel again! Hidden gem for sure! The Front Desk and staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. Fresh coffee and water available in the lobby! Walking distance is easy to fine restaurants and shopping. Chairs, umbrella, surfboards etc.! Very clean and the back deck facing the ocean is wonderful! 💗

The property did a renovation 3 years ago and the knocked it out of the park! Right on the water and you can walk anywhere in Del Mar. My new spot! Jessica was awesome at front desk! Thanks DMBH!

Parking was extremely difficult. We had to uber everywhere because we feared losing our space. The maids kept the room clean except for one day when they failed to show up. Aside from those two complaints everything was fine. The facilities were excellent and right on the beach, which was beautiful The two restaurants next door, Poseidon and Jakes , were excellent although expensive. We would recommend DMBH and will probably return.

It's right next to the Beach. You can walk right to it. There's lots of Bars and Restaurants nearby. The Beds are super comfortable.

Mine and my sisters stay at the Del Mar Beach hotel was OUTSTANDING!!! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were so nice and cozy. The patio was very nice and we loved that we could just sit with a refreshing drink and enjoy the beach without actually having to be on the beach. We will definitely be back to soon!!

We have enjoyed staying here many times. The staff is especially welcoming and friendly. Plus they have the best coffee hands-down 24 hours a day in the lobby. I am a very early riser so l love this! Beds are very comfy too. Until next time....

Our 2nd year returning and we had a great time enjoying the ocean just steps from our room. Umbrellas, chairs, towels, buggie boards all provided and some great eats all around too. Looking forward to the next time.

I was lucky enough to have a room on the very end of the building. I could literally be on the sand in less than 15 steps from my door. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only negative I can say about the hotel is that I could very obviously hear the footsteps from the guest above as well as their tv. They weren't loud late or early so it wasn't a problem at all. I will definitely stay there again.

Del Mar Beach Hotel is, as its name implies, right on the beach. The location is amazing for spending a nice morning drinking coffee or eating breakfast looking out as the waves roll in. There are two restaurants, Poseidon and Jakes, that are literally about a 1 to 2 minute walk for anyone looking for a nice sit down place. The staff were so kind and answered every question I had and even provide a complimentary glass of rośe to enjoy in your room or on the back patio with a picturesque view of the beach. There is parking provided on site but it fills up quickly. The room itself was pretty nice and spacious enough and while nothing too fancy it was a nice and quiet stay. For the location and staff I highly recommend this hotel for a nice and relaxing getaway from the stress of life.

If you are going for a beach getaway, this is the best place around. Right on Del Mar Beach, very clean, updated rooms. Excellent staff. Our second stay there. Will definitely come again.

Literally directly at the beach. We love the staff. We love the rooms we love the area. Free coffee and free tea, water 24h. Snacks and fresh croissants too. If you like a completely dark room to sleep, bring a sleeping mask.
