Fabulous location across from the beach! Comfy beds. Quiet rooms. Wonderful staff. Reasonably priced good food.

Room its not like in the pictures.
Room does not have a fridge (summer town, you need one)
Room has separate toilet where you have to go out and go to the shower to wash your hands.(no sense)
They do have parking in property but you have to pay $ extra.( no sense) even that they dont provide with card , you have to get out of car ring a bell wait for them to open the door and get in the car .
Staff were great, recepsion had wonderful staff and helpful.
Also, beach was very close , walking distance.

Amazing property and service. The only issue I encountered was poor WiFi connectivity.

Hotel is ok, staff could be more helpful, female manager is terribly rude.

Great place to stay in Cannes area if you are wanting a pool and beach. The bus stop is right outside of hotel entrance. Parking is available. We took an Uber downtown and it was 14€, coming back a bit more expensive. Hôtel provides beach towels. Great breakfast buffet. We’ve now stayed there twice.

Dated rooms. Insects in several peoples rooms from our group. Nice common areas but the rooms themselves need a refresh.

Thank you.

I can't say enough about the concierge service at Luxotel and the hotel itself. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed as if I was visiting family. The room was exquisite overlooking the pool. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and well accessorized . The proximity to Cannes center was an easy walk through old town Village or along the waterfront blvd. I had a wonderful wonderful stay thank and I look forward to my return someday.

Just an excellent place to stay.

One tip is the property is next to the France train system.. trains run 24/7 sometimes 3 in 5 minutes. They are loud and the hotel windows are not sound proof.

Front desk manager didn’t want to admit their mistake of giving me a room with balcony sliding door very very hard to slide and blamed me for not coming down on time to switch the room as I was waiting in the room for staff to do the transfer. The manger was rude with me and demonstrated good skills of dealing with guest.

Good location, great sized rooms, BUT paper thin walls, woke up every night with the guest next door talking at 2am. One thing to notice, it’s carpet on the floor, which is something I don’t think it’s appropriate for a beach hotel.

Luxotel hotel is one of the best options in Cannes for the location and value. The staff are all personable, helpful and nice.

Other than a little wear and tear in places, the hotel was great. Staff was very helpful and kind. Pool and restaurant on site were awesome. We will definitely stay here again!

A peaceful, comfortable, clean hotel with a bus stop outside to take you into Cannes centre and a short walk away, over a small bridge to get to a sandy beach. The staff were so friendly, helpful and polite. Would absolutely recommend it for a comfortable stay.

Luxotel is not a 4-star hotel – no idea how this is possible. Property is a complete dump, w/ the lone exception being the lobby restaurant area. There are apartment residences attached to the hotel entry w/ laundry hanging to dry outside windows and ratty, decaying / molded yellow awnings across the entire façade of the hotel facing the water. Rooms are on par w/ a dungy small college dorm room, w/ concrete floor / barely a brown carpet covering it. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, bathroom had NO ELECTICAL OUTLET (!), silverfish in the tub and the balcony had plastic lawn chairs and the ceiling even had a hole in it w/ plaster hanging down. If you don’t want to pay $300 / night for accommodations similar to a Day’s Inn motel in Nebraska, then AVOID this place. Despite a decent location to the beach, you have train tracks and a busy road in between, with heavy traffic. Although the staff was very nice and friendly this was a truly a very poor place to stay.

Main issue was there was no fridge in the rooms, this should be 3 star for this reason. No menu in the rooms, had to take lift to get a menu and had a power outage which scared the kids. The staff were great, especially at the pool. Location is fantastic so still pretty good.

We had a lovely stay at Luxotel for 4 days. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Beautiful location right on the beach, 15 minute walk to Cannes center. Loved it!❤️

The staff was very helpful and attentive. Tiny but clean rooms. Beautiful views. Odd hours to access the pool and beach—10am-7pm, yet it was light out until 9pm. The bartender made absolutely beautiful and delicious cocktails. We had one amazing meal at the restaurant and one meal that seemed like the Chef was absent. The free breakfast was pretty good.

Like to location and the value for money for room. Property and staff all good. We chose those this hotel for private swimming and sunbathing, but it was closed during our stay. Very disappointed. If we had know that was going to be the case we would of choose somewhere else.

Don’t dismiss Hotel from the reviews the Hotel is a great location within walking distance o great little beach clubs , the pool was closed and we weren’t informed if anything the staff have attitude and the receptionist certainly she get a job she likes as she downright rude we would suggest a call centre , would we would stay again .

The restaurant and cocktail facilities were exquisite. Experienced restaurant staff. Very friendly welcome but a contrast of experience and attitude in staff. Reception staff in particular.
Some of them need additional training and not high calibre people. For example, we added an additional night to our stay and we got a knock on the door by reception. The receptionist was pointing at her watch and asking us to go saying “checkout is at 12”. I cannot imagine that happening anywhere I’ve ever stayed. Not only rude, but also blissfully unaware of changes made by staff the previous day. Did not apologise, nor seemed flustered by their own mistake.
The very last evening, I sat in the lobby with my dog, waiting for my partner. A restaurant staff, I’ve never seen before, came right up to us and attempted to shove my dog off the sofa. Never was that mentioned to me in the three nights we stayed there and plenty of staff served us drinks whilst my lovely white and cream Shih tzu that gets a wash every day, was sprawling all over the furniture. Whilst I appreciate some hotels may not like it, staff seem to make it up as they go along. Also, you don’t just go up to a dog you’ve never seen before and attempt to touch it without permission. For your own safety if anything else. Leaving the fact that it was very rude!
Management need to consider these mistakes seriously. Although they took off the doggy charge for the stay due to their mistakes, we will not be returning.

I was suddenly in Cannes and hadn't been able to research a place to stay like I usually would. I was so glad we ended up at Luxotel. The room was beautiful, the staff were amazing, and the beach was so close and less crowded than the places closer to the marina. I will totally stay here again the next time I am in Cannes.

Items disappeared from our room!!! A very bad experience. Tried to talk to reception, they don't take responsability or give even a small discount. Felt insercure in leaving anything to the room after this. I'll never come back. What a disappointment.

Easy to walk to the beach. Public transit was outside the door. Food was good.

Nice hotel but rooms are strange. Very limited cupboard space and no drawers?
3.0 / 5.0
Hotel and staff were good but spoilt by silly management policies; we had to pay 100 Euros per night on check in, the hotel bar closed early and so we couldn't get a drink after hours, the pool could only be accesses between 10am and 7pm, the pool bar was closed on 31st August (the first day of our holiday) and remained shut for the rest of the duration of our holiday, the restaurant was limited hours but you weren't allowed to take food or drink in from outside the hotel. I could go on but it's fair to say poor management stops this being a good hotel rather than the hotel itself.

Nice Hotel in convenient location. Updated and comfortable rooms.
Exterior landscape and area around the property could use some maintenance

It is hard for me to add to the wonderful reviews already posted on this hotel, but I'll try. The staff here is wonderful - very helpful and kind. My wife and I stayed in one of the rooms with a beach view; the room itself was sizeable, and the view from the balcony was terrific. Getting to the beach requires taking a pedestrian bridge that is adjacent to the hotel property. The property itself is well-maintained, the pool was terrific, and the breakfast was very good.
The hotel is 15-20 minutes' walk from downtown Cannes and approximately 6 kilometers from the community of La Napoule. One can walk along the shoreline to both.

The hotel is well located.
Close to the beach and just a short stroll from the center of Cannes.
The structure still feels a bit old despite the renovation, and it could use a bit more care here and there.

Comfortable, small hotel. A nice scenic walk to the Cannes Film Festival along the beach. Very convenient.

When you are inside this hotel, you can only eat the food provided at charge by this hotel. But what happens if it's after hours? Yikes
