Needed it after going to universal studios. Didn't like the location at night.

Bathroom drain didn’t drain. Shower pan could have been used as a dirty bathub. Sink too. Toilet, could have been disastrous.

No hot breakfast, no desklamp for working/writing, office chair wheels didn't roll well to move chair around

Did not acknowledge late check out although paid for.. cleaning person knocking on doors well before 11am checkout..use of leaf blower at 6:30 s m. Waaaay too early. No hot water for shower for the both of us and I mean zero hot water probably because room cleaning starts at the crack of dawn while guests are still trying to sleep and/or since we were last guests to grab showers.. argumentative office manager and lacks English skills hard to explain anything and he didn't want to hear it anyway..pick a different spot cramped parking if you arrive late.

The reception service so poor and noisy early morning while sleeping. The breakfast selection is too little limited to coffee, tea and bagels. No egg and sausages.

I read a review saying someone had a problem with roaches, which was A while ago, so I thought that maybe it got addressed because the most recent reviews were positive, but I was wrong. I encountered a roach problem an hour and a half hours later after checking in informed the manager on duty and he proceeded to give me a spray bottle and would not exchange my room, I spray the spray bottle completely empty. Left the room for a few hours while it dried then I returned didn’t see any roaches but the next morning I heard my wife yelling in the bathroom. The roaches were on the counter in the bathroom.

The customer service was horrible. The building maintenence is horrible. I was locked out of my room and could not get back in until the following day. They did not get anyone out to fix the issue as promised amd I missed important meetings because my belongings were locked inside the room.

Simple yet nice. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable. I came from a long, hot drive for business and the AC in the room was great! Only knock was i got awaken by the maids at 9:15am. I didn't have my "Do not Disturb " sign so mostly my fault. They have a unique mini-mart across the street that i liked.

Our Room was terrible! It was full of roaches and weird looking bugs that looked like bed bugs! I told the guy in office and all he could offer was a repellant spray he said he had no rooms left to give me another one. Terrible service.

The sound of AC & Refrigerator was like chopper . The room was attached to the Garbage area (room113) Behind the window was garbage collector. We were not able to open window .

Super 8 is a pleasant surprise for this road warrior traveler. A true oasis in a Super crappy part of the San Fernando Valley. Motel is tucked away ez entry & exit with secure free parking. Staff from front desk to housekeeping professional and polite. Rates are fair lower than the other options for a decent hotel. No scumbags or tweekers on the property or staying as guests. Many families, it’s August holiday season so the Europa tourists are there. Families are seeming to enjoy the Super 8. Rooms, hallways and grounds are all clean, very clean. Everything works AC , fridge, microwave even the windows. I like a breeze on summer nights and opened the window. Breakfast bar was good, better than most however the selection is limited. I enjoyed a probiotic drink that came in shot sized bottles. My trip was originally scheduled for two nights and the job required me to stay 7-nights. Every night there, all in the same room at my request and adding extra days was ez pz using the app. Worth writing a good recommendation & review which is tough to get out of me. I will bee back when business calls me to North Hollywood AAA for a motel, clean, quiet, pleasant staff, hassle free.

The room was very nice. My biggest issue was that my door was so hard to unlock. I called the front desk for help and they didn’t come. After about 10 minutes of trying, suddenly the key worked, thankfully. The A/C was also off before I got to the room so it was really hot. The A/C high/med/low settings weren’t working and it didn’t cool off until about 6-8 AM. The WiFi is also very slow so my firestick wouldn’t load which was an bummer. The beds are not super comfortable- to the point where I woke up and my leg was asleep. Aside from that, the room was very nice. I loved that they gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste. That was a very nice touch. Overall, not the worst place I’ve stayed, but definitely not the best either.

check in staff was great! The room was great. Parking was tight but found a spot in the far far back. Grounds were clean. Just the night noise on the main street woke me a few times but nothing serious. I plan to visit this hotel again if need be on my next visit. It did have the best rates in comparison to other hotels. Thank you!
