I needed a bare-bones room for my son and I - and this had two separate bedrooms (each with a twin bed) so it worked out fine. It also had a sleeper in the living room that we didn't need - showers in each room but only 1 toilet - off the living room, so that was a little odd to have two showers and only one true toilet. Overall I'd stay again. The room had no view - but I did get another room for my daughter and her husband - that had a great view and was also a nice 'single' room with a full bed.

Clean hotel in a quieter part of the city. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel slighlty dated but did not affect our stay at all. Breakfast was good and the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the old town and 2 minute walk to the Englosh Gardens. I would definately stay here again.

This is a very cute hotel within walking distance to the center of Munich. Close to metro and great location! Several restaurants within walking distance. They do not have a restaurant or bar attached to the hotel, unfortunately. There is no A/C but we visited in mid-October so leaving the window open made it comfortable but the noise of the tram and church bells require some earplugs. We received a room on the top floor which had amazing views of all the churches in Munich as well as the Alps (on a clear day). The reception staff was very nice and helpful, albeit a bit cold but that is the German way so it was nice! :) They do have an elevator but you are still required to go up/down some stairs, I wouldn't think it is very handicapped friendly, but we are not so I'm not sure if they can accommodate anyone in a wheelchair, from another entrance perhaps? But I didn't see one. My only real complaint (and it is so tiny, we really enjoyed our stay) was that the daily cleaning crew did not restock the instant coffee. I did ask the reception desk on my way out one morning and they did make sure it got restocked as well as leaving a bottle of water, which was very nice. This is a great hotel for the price if you want to stay close to the attractions but far enough away that you don't 1. spend an arm and a leg and 2. aren't on top of the attractions.

We had a great three day stay here. The property is so cute and clean ! It was a sweet neighborhood with shops , cafes, and restaurants to choose from.
While the property Does have an elevator, it is not handicap accessible. You must navigate entry floors, and a flight up to the elevator and then a flight down to your floor.
I use a cane and was able to handle it all. But definitely not wheelchair accessible.
Also, the property offers a beautiful breakfast buffet, great for your big eaters. We are both small bowl of oats people, so it was too much for us to enjoy.
There is a well stocked vending machine as well.
A beautiful highlight is that it is just blocks from the area in The English Gardens where the surfers gather ! Definitely check them out.

The staff were very helpful. Room and bathroom were very clean. Just a little warm at night. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was wxcellent

Very good service. Needed some laundry and they had it back to us in several hours. It was a warm time of year and the open windows and fan were not enough to cool the room at night. Just be advised if you are people Reno lime cooler temps to sleep. Very good location & quiet overall.

Great breakfast, great location for downtown
4.2
Nice place, nice location.
4.2
Very convenient location. But there was no AC, challenging to find parking spot.

Our room(s) for 3 people weee more than large enough. We had two large rooms and only needed one of them. Bathroom was nice with a large shower. We were awoken by construction noise on our last morning there, but otherwise it was very quiet. Lovely proximity to Englischer Garten and surfing spot!
4.2
The staff was friendly, the breakfast option was good as well. Parking around the location was not difficult. The room was large enough for a family of 4. The only issue we had, but this is coming from an American used to A/C, there was no A/C. We did sweat at night. 1 fan that was provided, was not enough. Even with that, we would stay there again.

Hotel Adria Munchen was a wonderful place for me and my daughter to stay. Our room was clean, quiet and had a great view. Breakfast was really good , the location was great , and the staff was excellent . We highly recommend Hotel Adria!!!
4.2
The staff were not friendly at all, beds were too short, and our room was not serviced couple days. Also, we got ripped off for laundry service, charged us 79 eru for eight T-shirts, eight socks and eight underwear.
4.2
Parking is horrible
4.2
It was wonderful

Specially booked for the washer/dryer availability but this was an error! However reception did provide a wash without charge as compensation.
Breakfast at hotel was really good and local area good for Metro access and restaurants.
4.2
The room was very plain, nothing on walls, old carpet, and no view. There was no parking. It could definitely use remodeling.
4.2
Lovely bird song outside window, generous bathroom. Elevator stopped between floors, so had to haul suitcases up or down stairs.
4.2
Really good hotel within easy reach of the centre
4.2
All good

Great location for our sightseeing adventures.

Definitely missing A/C when it's hot outside.

If you want to stay in an understaffed, overpriced dirty hostel, this is the place for you! We found multiple hairs & stains on our bed linens and when brought to their attention we were told we could go downstairs to get clean sheets and change them ourselves (which we did.) No housekeeping service arrived the next day so we were again told to go get our own clean towels. Both times we contacted front desk the staff person advised they were the only one working in the afternoon & night, therefore they could not remedy problems. TV in one of our two rooms was precariously sat at the head of one of the beds, making it unviewable. The basic set up was similar to a small dorm room with little space to store luggage. AC was nonexistent. Coffee in the breakfast room was good & staff there kept that area clean and the mediocre food replenished. Highly disappointed with our 4 night stay.
4.2
The stay was good! We did pay for a 4 adult room and 1 of the beds was just simply some pillows really close to the ground.
Some of the staff was superb and very welcoming others not so much.
Overall it is in a very safe neighborhood. Very walkable to a lot of restaurants downtown Munich.
A true 3 star hotel.
4.2
Great location for tourists. Safe neighborhood. Walk to many sights. Pleasant staff. But, room & particularly bathroom was difficult to ventilate; it was generally overly warm & humid. Beds only OK, not many amenities, but good value for price. Would stay there again.
4.2
Room was small for three people. The roof was slanted and there was a post in the middle. Both encumbered movement. We knock our heads often. In addition the bathroom was tiny

Fantastic!

Hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and could speak English. The location of the hotel is just a short walk to the old town and to a convince store, making it a great central spot for our vacation. Street parking was limited but with everything so close walking wise, it didn't matter. The breakfast offered was a nice spread and was a pleasant way to start our day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Munich for vacation.

The location was convenient and the staff were very kind and helpful.
4.2
Great location. Wonderful breakfast every morning. The elevator situation is a bummer if you have heavy bags, but the staff was helpful in carrying things if needed.
4.2
After travelling in the cold whole night, was grateful that the hotel allowed early check in at around 8am when the official check in time is 3pm. Noisy at night with limited dinning options after 6pm. There is tram and underpass nearby but not that close especially during thunderstorm.
4.2
Being around the corner from the English Garden and within easy walking distance if Marienplatz was wonderful. Great front desk staff!
4.2
Lovely older city hotel, beautifully maintained. Desk staff most helpful!
4.2
Booked the room for 3 people - had more than enough room. Separate toilet and bathroom also make room sharing easier. Great location. Very pleased with our stay
4.2
This is a clean, quiet, safe hotel. It was a spacious room for Europe. Only complaint would be the stairs. It says there is an elevator and there is but you have to take several steps to get to it. Six steps to get to reception, 10 to get to the elevator then stops between floors so you have to go up or down 10 stairs to your room. So if you are like me who travels heavy it’s a pain with suite cases. It was very clean and breakfast was good.
4.2
Excellent place to stay
4.2
Friendly and efficient check in. Would stay again.
4.2
Nice and friendly hotel close to the English Garden and in waking distance og the old town's attractions. Good value for money.
4.2
Clean, good breakfast daily, quiet residential area, grocery and pharmacy on the same street. Easily walkable to the city center such as the Residenzplatz. Don’t expect the hotel staff to be overly friendly or help with any recommendations. They did however arrange the taxi to the airport.

My family (4 of us) stayed here for 3 night in December. The hotel was sufficient. We had a junior suite which was first floor tucked in a corner off the lobby which turned out to be quite convenient. The beds were bigger than my American standards we’re expecting of European comfort. On the end of the same street is a Cafe we went to daily and sometimes twice daily called Cafe Lehel. Very nice to have close to accommodations. There are also a couple of good German restaurants within a couple of blocks.
The walk to Old Town was took a bit. We were walking in snowy and icy conditions which probably made this seem longer than it was. The tram is not all that convenient either to old town, especially in bad weather since the most convenient stop is above ground by Maxmonument (¿sp?). The 21 takes you one stop before you need to get back off saving only minimal effort over walking, the 19 takes you a but closer but still several minutes walk to get to Marienplatz.
Overall good value especially if weather is pleasant.
