Great location, facilities, and staff. Just a bit disappointed with the noise outside late night.

This hotel is the best we have stayed at during our 3 week vacation. The location is perfect for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and very quiet at night. The staff is a 10 star staff and the breakfast is a 100 stars. I will recommend this hotel to everyone that plans to stay in Florence.

Amazing Hotel! To us, it was the best and most luxurious Hotel in Firenze but also financially reasonable. Super nice and welcoming staff. We were offered early check in for free and also were able to get late check out free of charge. The room was amazing with all the amenities. We would definitely go back to this place.

Our room was large, and it had a lovely view of the piazza. Very nice bathroom and shower. The breakfast was excellent!

Few minutes walk from the rail station, very close to Duomo, ideal location to stay Firenze.

I have been to Florence many times. First time at this hotel and we loved it. Staff is great and very helpful. The hotel its self is very classy, elegant and spacious. Great roof top patio to enjoy a drink. Room was great, modern, clean. We have a view of the SMN Church & square. So happy I chose this hotel and for the price I think its a great choice.

Amazing property. Staff was lovely and the location couldn’t be better. It is Florence and the buildings are old so the layout with the connecting buildings and lifts were…. complicated. I figured it out just in time for checkout.
My suite was beautiful. I could hear people dragging the metal chairs across the rooftop observation area as it must have been directly above my room (608) but it wasn’t more than a tiny nuisance. The bathrooms were very clean and plenty of space. The shower was awesome. The bed was comfortable and the sheets soft.
The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. They were very helpful with assisting me with a taxi in the middle of the night to get to the airport. They were helpful with recommendations as well as the housekeeping keeping the room immaculate.
When I come back to Florence…. And I will.. I will be staying here. I recommend you do the same!

Our stay was exceptional! We loved the hotel's location, just a short walk from all the major attractions in Florence. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. Santa Maria Novella was the perfect choice—what a wonderful area! Florence has such a unique charm. Thank you for providing such a beautiful accommodation

Loved the location of the hotel. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and safe.

This delightful hotel was as much of a star of our visit to Florence as the wi deregulation sights, To return to our air conditioned room at the height of summer and to be greeted by the friendly staff made everything even more special.

The hotel offers unrivaled views of Santa Maria Novella. The view of Florence from the rooftop allows for time to stand still: it is breathtaking. The hotel itself is a bit "old fashioned" and that may be exactly what one is seeking. The staff are responsive and professional. The location allows for a launch into the most important areas of the historic center. It's a short walk to the Ponte Vecchio and the other notable bridges over the Arno. The hotel is expensive and like other Italian hotels with ceiling hung a/c units, condensation drops to the floor but not in the bedrooms or parlor, strictly in the clothing walk in closet. The hallways are a bit of a labyrinth until you get used to them.

Stay was amazing hotel very clean and staff very friendly. Buffer breakfast warm option was very disappointing not much option each day, was cold and didn’t refresh very much.

This was the perfect hotel to explore Florence with most of the main tourist destinations within 5-20 minutes walk. The hotel itself is beautiful inside, deceptively big with many small corridors and levels which add to its charm. Decor was luxurious and traditional, marble bathrooms, wood flooring and panelling, all appeared in good maintenance. We overlooked the square which was beautiful, day and night-there was plenty of seating if you wanted to sit out with places to get a drink/eat and not forgetting the beautiful church. The staff were helpful and maid service daily was much appreciated as was the adjustable air conditioning! There were several areas in the hotel that you could sit in comfortably including a nice bar in the evening and a roof top terrace. Breakfast was a continental spread and also a good gluten free section, coffee was served fresh to your table. Room service was available but we didn’t use it, there was tea/coffee facilities in the room and a payable mini bar with fridge which was great to keep our water cool. The only thing in my opinion that would have made it better is a pool, as it was very hot but understandably in a central location, the traditional building of the hotel does not have this space. Highly recommend this hotel.

We were upgraded due to Gold Status : but on arrival to hotel we were met by rather abrasive front desk staff .
Maybe they were just very busy !
We arrived early and accepted that we could not go
to our rooms until 2-30 pm
Unfortunately we didn’t get access until 3 pm
We were tired from travelling.
No apology about the delayed room access!!
The rooms are basic : smell
Bad :
Location is fine .
Hotel restaurant is not great food !!
Service was very good though !
Overall not impressed with the Hotel .
Next time we would look for another 4 Star Hotel .

Great hotel in Santa Maria Novella Square. Rooms are large and well air conditioned which is a blessing in the summer. Hotel is immaculate. Breakfast has many fresh foods and is delicious. We enjoyed spending evenings on the Terrace which has a great view of the city. Steps away from the train station and all attractions in Florence.

I couldn’t have found a better hotel. First, the location just cannot be better. We took a train into Florence from Venice and the hotel was literally less than a 5 min walk away from the station. Very convenient to take train again to Rome. All major attractions and best restaurants nearby. After a long day of touring, I loved evening shopping by myself while the husband and son got more rest. The hotel staff are incredibly kind and the room was so spacious! It was a dream to have morning cappuccinos in our room terrace and wine there after a long day. The breakfast spread is also not only excellent, but the breakfast room is beautiful! The only downside I can think of for this hotel is that the elevators are confusing.. I got lost more than once. But other than that, this hotel is at the top of my list. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!
