Very convenient for town centre. Nice room though a little small. Very good service overall though we waited 15mins in queue to check out.

No toilet brush in bathroom and no shelf to put toiletries on. Toiletries were
Put a little stool next to toilet. Overall cleanliness good however very grubby round plug point where kettle tray is. Not much room on dressing table - a freestanding small chest of drawers with hospitality tray on would have been good.
Staff nice.
I upgraded to River Room - however thought it was a bit expensive overall.

This was one of most favourite places to stay in our short trip to Salisbury, and we wished we could have stayed here longer. The hotel welcoming and filled with interesting history. The room was cosy and bright. The bathroom updated and more pleasant than many 'modern' hotels we have stayed at. The staff were all wonderful and made our family feel like old friends. The patio and ground have an incredible view and was the perfect place to sit down, enjoy the sunshine and calm summer sounds. Perfect.

A wonderful stay. This place is so quiet yet so close to Salisbury city centre. And the view from the hotel room - alongside the garden- was stunning!

We really liked this hotel a lot. We arrived late on Friday, after picking up my wife from the airport, but the reception staff were ready and waiting and when we decided to go to the bar for a nightcap, the bar staff were friendly and not rushed at all, even with only hand an hour till closing.
The room was spacious and comfy, with a great bathroom, nice toiletries, effective air con, and nice complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits, etc.
Breakfast was great, really well organised, and the distance to the city centre is easily manageable on foot. We made use of the free shuttle into the city in the evening, as it was raining and, again, the staff were super helpful.
Ample parking, a fair few electric charge points for EVs and a great location for the road out to stonehenge, too.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, very comfortable. Breakfast was full of options, well done. Location was so lovely!! We enjoyed our entire stay walking to and from the Riverside and other locations of interest. Honestly, I want to come right back!

Lovely staff, fantastic position, good breakfast. There was a wedding whilst we were there but it didn’t encroach upon our stay at all.
Not 5 stars as a bit mean with the shower gel (one small bottle for 2 of us for 2 nights which wasn’t replaced), fresh water wasn’t replaced neither were the biscuits.
Notwithstanding those minor niggles, we had a lovely time and will definitely return.

We love this hotel , it was our second visit ! & Very often the second visit is never as good ! But it didn't happen in this case & would not hesitate in returning again if we are in the vicinity.

Very nice overall. Very small steep staircases if there are mobility concerns. We loved it and they do a nice job on breakfast.

Arriving at The Riverside was a treat. The car parking was easy and very convenient for access to the hotel.
Our room had a double bed, TV drawer and wardrobe space an ensuite bathroom (with bath and shower facilities).
The view from our room was beautiful and looked over the lawn (and the sculpture of the giraffe) to Salisbury Cathedral and the field around.
The breakfast at the hotel was good (cold selections, hot food, cereals, fruits and patisseries.
From the dining area you could walk out on the the balcony and then down impressive steps to the lawns below.
A beautiful setting, a lovely stay!
Thank you.
PS We'll be back - God willing.

The hotel was nice but most importantly the team at the hotel provided fantastic service. They were friendly, attentive and put effort into ensuring our stay was pleasant and comfortable. We really appreciated the tiny little goodies touches in the room and the transport service into the town which made the experiences all that much better.

This property was so beautiful! The weather was perfect, and we were able to enjoy a glass of wine on the back terrace / deck. We could see the Salisbury Cathedral from the deck -- so beautiful. There's a free shuttle in the evenings, as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, as well.

Found the room a bit tired, and Bathroom not the best.
However, an overall good stay.

Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Views of the river Avon and only short walk to the cathedral. They also offer a van ride service into Salisbury in the evenings so you don't need to drive in and park for dinner!

Everything was lovely the hotel the staff the and the food.
Just one little thing you could of put 2 small towels in the room instead of one and we could of had shower gel on the second night as we used it up the first night
I didn’t spoil our weekend just thought I would point it out
Thank up for our time with you

Very pleased with the room and staff. View from terrace was special.

Clean and quiet hotel with lovely river and cathedral view from the garden terrace.
There is no lunch or evening dining option at the hotel, so they provide a shuttle taxi service into Salisbury or it is a 15-20 minute walk into the city centre.
Nice breakfast but an extra charge of £29 for two adults, which makes the room rate a bit on the high side.
Free level parking.

The hotel is beautiful and in a lovely setting. Would definitely stay again. I was a little disappointed that there was no restaurant where I could have had an evening meal.
